The program shows all network devices, gives you access to shared folders, provides remote control of computers (via RDP and Radmin), and can even remotely switch computers off. It is easy to use and runs as a portable edition. It should be the first choice for every network admin. ## Advanced IP Scanner Reviews ### 1. Also, the ease of use it presents makes it a great tool. **What do you dislike about Advanced IP Scanner?** The main disadvantage I have found with this tool is the following: If you perform a scan one day and collect the information from the network devices, the next day you perform a scan, the device names or hostnames do not update, the previous one appears. It is a disadvantage to consider. **What problems is Advanced IP Scanner solving and how is that benefiting you?** Advanced IP Scanner makes it much easier for me to recognize devices on the network, check MAC addresses, and organize myself correctly to maintain the DHCP server in the most optimal way. It also helps in certain cases to identify devices recently connected to the network. ### 2. We have multiple IP blocks and we are using Advanced IP Scanner for searching and checking devices on our network environment. This application is one of our network solutions. **What do you dislike about Advanced IP Scanner?** Nothing to dislike at all about this application. It is free and works great. One thing that is bad about this program is there is no version for macOS.
