The main disadvantage I have found with this tool is the following: If you perform a scan one day and collect the information from the network devices, the next day you perform a scan, the device names or hostnames do not update, the previous one appears. Advanced IP Scanner is the best application for IP scanner on the Windows platform. First of all, it is completely free. It has a clean interface and is easy to use. It is always working so stable. Just write the IP range which you are looking for, and the application will do the rest. Results are also coming with devices' names, models and serial numbers.
