ADP Workforce Now has genuinely transformed how we manage the onboarding process. Before using it, new hire paperwork was scattered across multiple systems, which led to missing documents, data entry errors, and delays getting people set up on day one. Now, new hires can complete all their onboarding paperwork through one unified process flow before they even arrive on day one, including tax withholding, direct deposit, and company policy acknowledgments. The accuracy improvement has been the biggest win for us. The integration automatically syncs employee data across systems, which reduces errors by ensuring accurate, up-to-date information without anyone having to manually re-enter the same details twice. We used to catch data mismatches regularly during audits; that problem has essentially disappeared. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now? The biggest friction point with ADP Workforce Now has been the initial implementation and setup. The initial setup and customization required a significant time investment and change management effort, which was more than we anticipated going in. Configuring onboarding workflows to match our specific organizational structure took considerably longer than the vendor timelines suggested, and there were moments where the process felt incomplete. There are also many different ways to perform the same function within the platform, which sounds like flexibility but in practice made it harder to train our team consistently. New admins especially had a steep learning curve just figuring out which path to follow for routine tasks. Certain updates and navigation steps can also slow down workflow, especially during high-demand periods. That said, once we were past the setup phase, day-to-day use became much smoother. My advice to anyone considering it: plan for implementation and training by allocating enough time and resources for the initial setup upfront, and don't underestimate how long it takes to get your workflows dialed in. Before ADP Workforce Now, our HR processes were largely manual and paper-based. New hire paperwork was printed, physically signed, scanned, and filed, which created bottlenecks every time we brought someone on board. Important documents were hard to track down, data had to be re-entered multiple times across different systems, and the margin for human error was high. ADP Workforce Now solved this by digitizing and automating the entire onboarding and talent management workflow. New hires now complete everything electronically before day one, data flows through the system without anyone re-keying it, and records are instantly accessible when we need them. The most tangible benefit has been the time savings. What used to take our HR team several hours per new hire now takes a fraction of that. I love how the recruitment to onboarding process is so streamlined with ADP Workforce Now. Everything is managed electronically, and there is good communication with prospective candidates. We've received excellent feedback on how easy this process is. Also, creating events in compensation and performance is very simplified, which alleviates such a workload for us. The reporting is very simplified as well, and if we can't customize ourselves, their custom reporting team is readily available to assist. Benefits enrollment still needs some cosmetic assistance - associates still struggle to comprehend selections without direction from HR. I would like an easy to follow guide that shows me what all features I have with the modules that we have. I love using ADP Workforce Now because I can easily sign in and out of work. I find it incredibly convenient for keeping track of my PTO and requesting it. Things that I suggest or give feedback on, they listen, take action, and test it before rolling it out, so when it does roll out, it works. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now? I'd like ADP Workforce Now to have a little bit better integration. There are certain things that only practitioners can do, like creating custom reports for accounting. I can't give them access to run their own reports without giving more access than I'd like, so I'd like it to be a bit more granular. This would allow people to build the exact reports they need without accessing too much information. The initial setup process seemed easy, but we ran into several challenges, especially since we didn't have all the fields and GLs set up, which caused scrambling for information.
