I am considering returning to Quickbooks due to my disappointment. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** The things I need to access are not easily available. I hired ADP because we are a construction company with jobs based in 3 different states. I needed help with taxes. I also have 4 different insurance audits each year. The reports I need for the auditors are not available to me. To try and figure out how to do things I have to sit on the phone for hours with foreigners that ADP outsources their work too. Most of the time they don't understand what I need or how to gain access to it. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** None accept getting the taxes properly dispersed among the 3 states ### 2. We started getting ADP information a year ago and started using ADP officially on November 1, 2016. Our time off is STILL not correct, ACA is still not set up, benefits are still not correct. It's been the worst four months of my life! **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** I would not recommend ADP to anyone right now. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** Giving employees the ability to access their own information and make necessary changes such as banking, address, etc. ### 4. Itfyou're looking for an easy interface with your payroll company, it's a great choice. I've also had good experience with their ACA module so far. The support of a big name in payroll, ACA features are well thought out, excellent reporting capability, can be modified in many ways, though you have to spend a lot of time to get it there. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** It takes a lot of time and effort to mold the system in to what you want if you're not looking for an out of the box solution. Not as flexible for organizations that have dual reporting structures, requires a lot of redundant information in multiple sections of profiles, if there is a benefits issue it isn't always clear how to fix on payroll side. Long wait times in high traffic times of year (ACA reporting, open enrollment season). **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** It's ADP. They're a big name, and they're pretty good at what they do, but they're also a big name and pretty set in their ways. IT can be frustrating but you can be fairly certain that the product will work as advertised. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payroll and HRIS, employee information and reporting. It's a very robust tool, but like many of ADP's offerings, can be rigid. ### 8. Decent Administration System but Probably not the Best **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2016 **What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?** Only system used at work to track hours, perform clock-ins and clock-outs, and request hours off. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** System is slow to clock-in but faster to clock-out. Occasionally not able to clock in because of an authentication error which says I am signed in on more than one instance. Get random other errors and occasionally have had to sign in through a collegaues workstation or have had a colleague sign in through mine. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** Be sure to have a secondary source of tracking work hours which could be brought up in meetings with supervisors if need be. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** The system aides management a great deal as they constantly reference back to track hours of work and attendance. Personally, if there were another way to clock-in or clock-out or track hours, would probably prefer it. I use it primarily to check electronic pay statements and access tax forms. The navigation is fairly intuitive and it doesn't take too much hunting to find what you are looking for. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** In my opinion, ADP Workforce Now offers very limited value addition. It could be that my organization is simply not using ADP Workforce Now to its full potential, but I just feel like the interface doesn't offer much more than a Wordpress blog. I only use the site to check electronic pay statements and access tax forms, which only happens a few times a year. I think that more thought and effort could be put into creating tools that help employees analyze their pay and retirement information. To access my 401k information I am redirected to another ADP site where I have to put in another username and password. I would like a more functional, one-stop shop, dashboard which gives me easy access to my information and helpful tools for analyzing the data without being redirected around. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** Create more innovative, effective tools to allow employees to track and analyze their HR / pay data. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** I do not feel that this software is adding that much value to our business. ### 11. Would like to see ADP redesign the home page to include additional buttons to navigate the user to the most commonly used screens. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** Look at other options instead of just selecting a company who has been in the market space for a long period of time. I know there have to be better options available. I also like the employee self service feature - frees up my time to work on more strategic projects. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** As a small/mid-size company, upgrades are not always completed timely. Our system just went through a huge upgrade from v2 to v8 - what happened to all the upgrades in between 2 and 8? Reporting can be complicated if you don't use it regularly. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** Ask a lot of questions when going through implementation whether this is for a new contract or upgrade. And keep your implementation specialist's contact information handy.
