For starters, the support team and customer services teams are impossible to reach (long wait times) and generally unhelpful. I normally have to hang up the phone and re-call at least once to get someone who can help me solve a problem. ADP is a software that keeps trying to build upon old technology. If you are looking for a basic payroll system, this will be expensive. I enjoy the calendar feature that gives me a visual of the time that I have either taken or requested off. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** The UI leaves something to be desired. Upon log in, I'm always taken to a 'company policies' page that's just blank. I assume my company hasn't customized this with content that is relevant to the employee. As such, landing on this page upon login feels disorienting and like I have to poke around a lot to find the functionality I'm looking for. I would much prefer some sort of dashboard feature to easily guide me to most commonly used pages. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company uses this so I really have no choice. I do like the time off request feature, I think it's pretty straight forward to use. The calendar view is simple and all the information I need is exactly where I want it. I actually also really enjoy the 'Time Off Balances' feature where you can see how much PTO you'll have on a certain date. It makes me not have to track my own PTO on a separate Excel document. ### 14. It has been a nightmare since our company transitioned five months ago. Horrible customer service, no follow-up on issues, system has problems, had a huge security breach where the system gave access to EVERYTHING to an employee. The employee was able to see everyone's wages, socials, etc. When I called about it IT was like "Oh, that shouldn't happen" and shrugged it off like it was no big deal. If them employee didn't come to me I would have no idea there was a security breach. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** I dislike everything about this company and this product. Our company got the full package with all the bells and whistles. Approximately two weeks in to implementation I noticed the look of the system changed. My implementation specialist tried to tell me that nothing was different, it wasn't for someone else that informed me I was upgraded to version 10 in week 2 and that is why it looked different. All my training's were on version 9 so I was going in to the new system blindly. When I was changed to version 10 is when all the issues started happening. I kept getting errors that I wasn't "authorized" to use the system after I logged on. Then the document cloud stopped working and wouldn't allow me to upload documents. Pretty soon I had so many issues with the system I had to have an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the case numbers I was given. I had payroll not work twice due to these glitches. One of the specialists forgot to put in the wage garnishments so I had an employee get a suspended license for non-payment until ADP was able to fix everything. All issues took 4-6 weeks to be resolved and by that point I had 4-6 more issues. At this point, I just can't use the system and was forced to switch to a new payroll company. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** STAY AWAY! This isn't worth your time, money, or hassle. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** This isn't solving any business problems, this is only creating more problems. The system was supposed to help with Time & Attendance but the Time Clocks go out and stop working at least once a day. ADP's solution was "pay more money to get better time clocks" instead of fixing the one's we were given. The Performance Module never worked which was what our company really needed to fix an issue we were having, but instead we told employees about the "wonderful ADP system" which in return failed to meet expectations and even failed to work. We weren't able to solve one problem we were having before using this system, instead we gained problems. ### 15. They are the worst company I have every dealt with. We have been in implementation for 10 months, and are not any closer to being out. There are so many departments, and they require that you know which department you need to talk to. If you don't, you don't get any help. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** EVERYTHING. Customer service is nonexistent. We have a Relationship Manager who does nothing to help us. ADP messed up our PTO and then decided to reset all of our timeclocks without telling us. Causing us to have to re-register over 1600 employees. They did nothing to fix the problem and basically told us to fix it ourselves. We have 20 different company codes, but they refuse to give us any allocation of the bills based on those company codes. They require us to pull reports from their multiple websites to get our own allocation, and we have to keep track of which bills are done through which sites. They did nothing to train any of us on how to use the system and what our responsibilities would be. They opened us up to so many liabilities it is unbelievable. You would have better luck having a 10 year old process your payroll. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** DON'T DO IT! We have been in implementation for 10 months now. They royally messed up all our PTO and we are now at risk of employee lawsuits. Even after telling them this, they still have not fixed anything and in fact keep making everything worse. We spend hours and hours and hours cleaning up the mess they make because they are so incompetent they can't even fix their own issues. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** ADP has created so many problems that we had to hire another employee just to track all their mistakes and do the job that we pay them for. **Official Response from Fran Dennis Cardaci:** > My name is Fran Cardaci, and I am the Vice President of Client Loyalty for ADP. If I had to mention something positive, I would say the login in is very secure. Honestly that's about it. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** 1. For security reasons, you cannot save your login on Chrome - annoying, as you have to change your password every 90 days, use letters, numbers, and special characters, etc 2. For a good 4 months, it didn't work with Chrome, so I had to use Internet Explorer to open the app - every vacation request, sick day, etc meant an extra 3 minutes of my time 3. You can toggle between Manager and Employee profiles, but since becoming a manager, I cannot see the entire team calendar (with vacations), making our frequent travel as a team very frustrating to plan 4. It is very difficult to find documents on the site 5. Poorly designed user interface with unclear notations and honestly an ugly appearance **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** It's probably the industry standard, but shop around, especially if you are in a small company. It's worth getting something slightly more tailored so your end users actually USE it to it's full potential! **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our entire organization is on ADP, which I guess is convenient, but it's not very helpful and really doesn't solve any issues. Non-intuitive and inconvenient navigational dynamics: whoever designed this UX had almost no sense of how users actually interact with their product. 2. Can't open multiple windows for the app, which is annoying because you never know if clicking a link will actually take you to where you expect,. If it doesn't, going back to where you were generally doesn't work because all functions open up in modals that aren't preserved on page-back. 3. Slow/lag. 4. Contextual help is fairly useless: One on function, the help window was a 404, on another it was info on how to use Help. Fairly infuriating. 5. They need a TRUE single platform. **What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm solving very little problems because I don't trust their product and services. the one benefit is that I can see all benefits in one place. ### 23. While response time is slow for some of them, I like that they now have an email address we can send our Tax Agency Notices to. **What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?** I dislike that the information in HRB doesn't always match up with the Payroll side. Which is especially frustrating for PTO accrual, PTO balances and reporting functions. The employees can't see their correct PTO balances when they log in. It's frustrating to get a completely different answer from different representatives regarding the same issue. I don't understand why we receive several invoices per month. Some of these require a check and some of these are directly debited from our account. Their platform feels disjointed and the Support Center isn't user friendly at all. There is no place to upload documents. This would be extremely helpful for remote employees. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Workforce Now:** It really depends on what you are looking for. If you need a well-rounded, easy-to-use HRMS, I would shop around. ADP's platform is antiquated and therefore disjointed and not easy to use. However if you need to only run payroll for a small company, I'd recommend they're Payroll platform.
