What I like is that everything is available within the same platform, and it’s very easy to navigate. Payroll, paystubs, leave, and benefits are all in one place. Sometimes the updates come a little late. Also, some charts are hard to understand at first glance, and I need to spend some time reading them to figure out what they mean. There also isn’t an agent who can help me navigate directly to what I’m looking for or give a straightforward answer; instead, I get pointed to company resources, even when that data is already present in the ADP platform. We're a small company and my job encompasses both of these and I did not go to college for HR so I love having ADP to assist me when I'm not sure what is the best route to take. THey have helped us through many employee relation items, ADP supports us with UI claims, Workers Comp, the recruiting tool is very easy. What I like most about ADP TotalSource is how much it simplifies the complexity of managing a growing, multi-state workforce. Their team provides strong guidance on state-specific employment requirements, payroll taxes, and compliance, which gives us confidence as we hire across the U.S. We've also been very happy with the benefits offering. The plans are competitively priced, giving our employees access to high-quality coverage while helping us manage costs as a smaller organization. Whenever questions come up, the support team is responsive and works collaboratively to help us find solutions. What do you dislike about ADP TotalSource? The biggest area for improvement is customer support. While there are some excellent individuals on the team, the overall experience can be inconsistent. I've found that the quality and accuracy of the guidance often depends on who I happen to speak with, and it's not uncommon to receive different answers to the same question from different representatives. I would also appreciate a more proactive partnership. Rather than simply responding to issues as they arise, I'd like to see more strategic guidance, clearer ownership of complex cases, and stronger subject matter expertise. As an experienced HR leader, there have been times when I've had to research and validate information myself because the support provided wasn't as knowledgeable or consistent as I expected. As the sole HR professional supporting a growing, multi-state workforce, having everything in one place saves me a significant amount of time and reduces the administrative burden of managing multiple vendors. The biggest benefit has been the support for multi-state employment. ADP helps us navigate state-specific payroll taxes, employment requirements, and compliance considerations, allowing me to focus more on strategic HR initiatives instead of spending hours researching regulations or managing manual processes. More plan offerings for health insurance. Better tracking of tax payments. ADP covers a lot of areas in general, but the support is very basic and it's difficult to get experienced support. Getting help requires a lot of patience and causes many headaches and often leaves me feeling like I'm explaining the person helping me on how to do their job. I would say the main downside is that, in certain areas, you have less flexibility. For example, I can't contact the IRS directly to inquire about a tax credit we're expecting because the credit was filed by ADP as part of our PEO relationship. We have used TS for employee issues, insurance issues, and payroll assistance. Also, UC claims; it is nice to have someone represent us in claims. "Straightforward, Fast Paycheck Visibility—Free and Easy for Employees" 5/5 What do you like best about ADP TotalSource? I love the fact that I can see what my paycheck is when payday hits. It's straightforward, easy to find, and quick to load (depending on what internet is available). And it's free for employees to use. If I were a business owner, I'm sure there are fees to use it. I tried three different methods to log in before I had to contact my HR manager for help. She walked me through it, and it was a method I had already tried.
