They are very knowledgeable and helpful to identify and correct processes that get out of sync. The wave of the future is to monitor all things via email, which is a new look and feel for the users. **Recommendations to others considering ADP SmartCompliance®:** Identify all your internal needs, I recommend the Tax Filing and W2 reporting and Wage and Child Support processing. This has been a huge benefit for our Company. Its ever improving features make both day to day tasks and year-end reporting easier. I love that it is live and will deliver the real time metrics I need. We use the upload tool to ensure high compliance and avoid duplicating employee efforts. For many years I have relied on ADP to improve the compliance and our overall program. ADP has improved the automation year after year. I have confidence in the secure encrypted processes to protect the data. It is realitivally easy to manage. I like that the home page has tasks that need attention and you don't have to rely on emails. Also that you can see links in multiple areas. **What do you dislike about ADP SmartCompliance®?** Time out is way too quick. There is not a option to direct the tax team to apply an agency tax credit direct to the next quarter filing. It takes way too long to have the quarter filings to post to the site. Also, the data provided in the returns is not complete. We should see the exact agency return form for all agencies. Vouchers for monthly deposits is not enough. We should have all information provided as if I was the one filing the return **What problems is ADP SmartCompliance® solving and how is that benefiting you?** Garnishment management - happy to not review, complete and enter garnishments. Reports can be customized by year, quarter, agency to narrow down criteria and produce reports without unncessary information. Tax agency notices can be uploaded for research with auto fill feature to save time. Invoice and reports are available anytime and are stored indefinitely for old and/or closed periods. Drag and drop wage file upload is great - wish tax and garnishments worked the same. The customer service teams and reps who work at ADP for the smart compliance site are knowledgable and usually able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. I use the site several times a week and every update seems to always bring better features to aid in processing payroll, paying taxes, and taking care of garnishment payments. Also having a direct link to W2/year end functions and testing is great. **What do you dislike about ADP SmartCompliance®?** I wish Smart Compliance would sync/work/ was compatible with Total Source so my company could utilize the full power of ADP in all aspects of HR and payroll. It would be nice if the garnishment file transfer and the tax file transfer were easy as "drag and drop". I would like to see the ability to search and/or download individual employee paystubs one at a time or selecting several at once. Right now I can only download the entire company. When an employee needs multiple copies, I have to extract each one from a separate weekly file. In that time, I've watched the tax services product grow and expand to be the leader in the tax services arena. What I like most about ADP SmartCompliance is having our tax records at our fingertips, the ease of the integration between Workday and ADP and the assistance I get resolving tax notices. **What do you dislike about ADP SmartCompliance®?** There are not a lot of things I can honestly say I dislike about ADP SmartCompliance, however one thing I'm not a real fan of is that they've gotten away from "face to face" customer service. What I mean by that is, I used to have quarterly calls with my account manager to review any anomolies and, I used to be able to email my account manager directly, and now I have to open a case online. We use SmartCompliance quite a bit for managing our invoices and our tax payments. We also love the wage garnishment feature. That has been extremely useful to our business as we get a lot of garnishments during our busy season. The tax management seems to work well also; we haven't had any issues there, and for the most part things are easy to find. **What do you dislike about ADP SmartCompliance®?** We don't use the reporting as much as we might, and would have loved a little more training on what options are available there. And initially the Medical Documents feature didn't work right and we had to work on that, but otherwise it has been great. **What problems is ADP SmartCompliance® solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing garnishments has been a huge problem for us, and this tool definitely helps simplify that process. The reports made available through smart compliance allows us to stay on top of potential issues. **What do you dislike about ADP SmartCompliance®?** The only complaint I have about ADP handling our garnishments is that they do not attach the notice to our employee profile in Workday, so we are still having to take care of that. Granted the files are maintained in ADP but if we were ever to leave there service it would make it harder to retreive all of that data and input it into Workday at that point.
