What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I find ADP Comprehensive Services particularly helpful for HR reports and staying updated on new policies, which I can easily add to our handbook. Their expertise is great; whenever I have a question, they help me out quickly. I like the new ADP assistant, which makes getting support faster without needing to call. It's easy to use and very helpful for new businesses. I appreciate the automatic reports and payroll reminders, which streamline these tasks for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I would suggest a much better app to punch in and out for the employees, some sort of reminder for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Glowing Review of ADP's Full-Service HR"

What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

The most valuable element for many businesses is the peace of mind that comes with outsourcing high-risk areas.

Dedicated Specialists: You are assigned a team of specialists (in Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Talent) and often a Strategic Advisor who acts as a consultant. They learn your business and provide proactive guidance.

Automatic Compliance: The system handles complex tasks like federal, state, and local tax filings and ACA compliance automatically, which significantly reduces the risk of errors, fines, and penalties for the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

While the platform is powerful, the all-in-one system (ADP Workforce Now) can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for employees or administrators at smaller companies.

Not Highly Intuitive: Users often report that the platform is not as intuitive or modern as some competitors' solutions, with functions sometimes being difficult to locate without guidance.

Reporting Difficulty: Generating and customizing reports, especially for complex or unique queries, can be cumbersome and less user-friendly.

Integration Flow Issues: In some cases, users feel that the various modules (HR, Payroll, Benefits) do not flow together as smoothly as they should, requiring multiple steps for a single change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I find ADP Comprehensive Services really helpful for payroll and talent management. Their compliance support is valuable, keeping us from owing money to any states, which saves us costs by not being out of compliance. I also appreciate ADP’s tax preparation services and the all-in-one solution they provide for managing our workplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I would make support chat easier to use. Right now, they call or use a 'secure portal' to chat with me, then often close the ticket before I even have a chance to look at their response. I also don't answer calls I'm not actively expecting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rebecca Jordan of ADP Comprehensive Services

We appreciate the updated review and honesty about ADP Comprehensive Services' value especially with compliance support. This motivates us to provide excellent service every day, and the feedback is helpful to our team.

"A Reliable HR Partner for Businesses of All Sizes"

What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

As an HR practitioner, finding the right technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency is a top priority. ADP’s Comprehensive Services product has been a valuable tool for our team. It offers a well-rounded solution that covers everything from payroll processing to benefits administration, compliance management, and beyond.

The platform is user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with our existing systems, which is a huge time-saver. One of the standout features is the excellent customer support. ADP's support team is always available to assist with any questions or issues, ensuring we can quickly address any challenges that arise. The service is timely and knowledgeable, which gives me peace of mind knowing that there’s always someone I can turn to.

In terms of functionality, ADP delivers on its promises. Payroll processing is smooth and reliable, and the benefits management tools are intuitive. We’ve also found the compliance tools to be incredibly useful in keeping up with ever-changing regulations, especially when it comes to taxes and leave laws.

However, no system is perfect. While the platform is comprehensive, there can be a bit of a learning curve when navigating some of the more advanced features. Additionally, pricing can be on the higher side for smaller businesses, so it’s something to consider based on your company's size and needs.

Overall, ADP's Comprehensive Services has been a game-changer for us, and I highly recommend it for businesses looking to centralize HR functions and ensure compliance. If you’re on the fence, the value it provides in terms of time savings, accuracy, and support makes it worth considering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

While ADP’s Comprehensive Services offers a wide range of features, the platform can have a steep learning curve and be somewhat costly, particularly for smaller businesses. There are occasional system glitches, and some customization options are limited, though customer support is generally helpful, if sometimes slow during peak times. "Use of ADP"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I like that from the time a candidate applies, their information carries through to all aspects of the services, recruitment, employee record, payroll, performance reviews. When they leave, all information is held in archive which is easy to access. When we have issues, the support group is quick to assist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

As ADP is great when it comes to being a 'one stop shop' for everything HR/Payroll, it can be kind of clunky at times. This meaning you often have to go through many steps to achieve one goal.

Also not thrilled with ADP making changes to areas without advanced notice and offering instructions to the new ways of doing things. We often come in and open up to man changes that we now have to weed through. Not saying the changes are always bad, just getting a heads up to what will be changing and maybe some guidance on how to navigate the changes when they are significant. Performance review area being a great example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ADP Comprehensive Services?

I like having everything in one package. I like the ease of the transition from a candidate to a hire to an employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?

Communication between ADP technology and other carriers can be lacking at times. There are frequently small glitches in the background that can create large problems. (for example, benefit deductions being missed on paychecks, etc.) Also, their customer support services is hit or miss. Some of the reps are great, and some of them are just downright terrible, but unfortunately, you do not get a choice in who handles your issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
