When we utilized Paychex for payroll, I handled time and attendance, approving and submitting times all from my desktop. There was not a middle person to implement our payroll, and I did like having full control because it left less room for error. This service has been a huge relief for us as a small employer. I value their assistance with complex processes like employment taxes and I-9 compliance, which are vital for maintaining our business’s adherence to necessary regulations. Additionally, I find it invaluable that they alert us to potential employment classification issues, such as when employees classified as exempt no longer meet the minimum requirements, thus helping us avoid potential compliance problems. I truly appreciate ADP Comprehensive Services for their expertise in payroll management. As someone working in HR, payroll is not my strong suit, and the great insight and guidance provided by ADP have been incredibly valuable, especially considering that the smaller organizations I work with often have accounting teams unfamiliar with payroll. This has been a significant support in managing payroll tasks efficiently. Additionally, through ADP's comprehensive benefits, we've been able to compete with larger companies. The benefits we've been able to offer our employees have been instrumental in recruiting and retaining top talent, which adds immense value to our organization. I think the training aspect of ADP's platform could be more comprehensive, particularly in offering soft skills training. Small companies especially need more comprehensive training for managers, including skills like emotional intelligence. The live webinars offered tend to focus more on hard skills, which isn't quite sufficient. Additionally, I experience challenges due to our inability to perform certain tasks without the HRBP's engagement. Often, when I contact support, the person we connect with isn't able to resolve our issues because only our HR VP has the necessary permissions. This dependency is problematic since the HR VP is very busy. It would be beneficial if other customer service representatives could resolve issues without us having to wait for the HR VP.
