It is also helpful in terms of onboarding employees, I felt that going through this process as a newer employee when I was first hired, was very simple than many other companies I have onboarded with in terms of payroll and getting set up, which was wonderful. **What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?** I dislike the lead time when asking customer service a question, sometimes the timeframe can be relatively long before you receive an answer. I have an assigned HR Professional who can help me get the most out of my subscription. The safety resources are great and the online employee onboarding process is also a big time saver. MyLifeAdvisor is a great resource for getting help with just about anything related to ADP HR Comprehensive Serivce. Those that answer the phone are well trained and can share access with you online and help quickly resolve issues or show you how to do things and where to find things. **What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?** It took a while to get everything set-up and working the way I wanted. ADP had some turnover in personnel that resulted in some inconsistency in support. Would have liked more guided set-up in some areas. Their training resources are great, however, but takes an investment in time to go through and would have preferred more guided training and set-up. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Comprehensive Services:** I would recommend these services. They offer excellent HR support and resources at a reasonable cost. **What problems is ADP Comprehensive Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** HR Compliance, Employee Onboarding, Employee self-service, i.e. submitting time-off requests, enrolling in benefits, making changes to personal information, integrated with payroll and 401(k) services with ADP, so one-stop, single sign-on for employees to access all HR/Payroll/Benefit information. Lightened my load considerably on the HR side. My Life Advisor allows employees to call ADP to help resolve any issues the have accessing or changing their information. I've used several others over the years and everyone has issues and things they excel at. ADP has more indepth employee profiles than other systems I've used. They do have lots of customizable options for the most part, but not everything is customizable. We've had several scenario's where the site crashes or glitches and we can't access things, so that's annoying but not super frequent that it happens. ### 12. I also like the live chat function for support, although not all services offer live chat. You will still have to call for retirement savings, reporting, etc. **What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?** Their systems don't work well together, nor are they comprehensive in being able to process data outside of a single Pay period. If I added a PTO policy backdated to Jan, the next payroll I run wouldn't be able to reference all pay periods that have occurred since Jan and update the employee's balance in time-keeping. This is a nice function I have seen in other HRIS Systems. There's also a disconnect between their support teams being able to work together and solve a problem. For example, we went through an acquisition with a new company code, the 401k was never activated for this company code. We got the run around for over four months about which support team to contact. We finally got through to someone who spelled everything out for us, we did it, and now there's something preventing them from initiating the function until they speak to our payroll rep. Extremely disorganized. Many other tech advancement oppertunities. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Comprehensive Services:** The Tech only option is by far the most affordable, but you will not get good service support at this level. When you provide this feedback you are told that if you had a higher package, which is about double the price, then they would have good support. It's difficult to want to pay ADP more for a higher package when they say that you will be offered good support even with the tech only option. **What problems is ADP Comprehensive Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** ADP Comprehensive Services is one of the few HRIS systems that allows multi-role & multi-positions for a single employee. Evaluate your needs. Can be a slow implementation. If you already use ADP, be aware that you will have to change company codes to move to comp services. That was not explained to me at my previous job until we were well into the process. **Recommendations to others considering ADP Comprehensive Services:** Talk to your sales team. Get a thorough demonstration. Come in with all the questions you can think of. If you choose this path, look over the SOP carefully to make sure you are getting the services you think you are. **What problems is ADP Comprehensive Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** ADP Comprehensive Services currently provides us with dedicated relationship partners, which is extremely helpful for a company of our size. The MyLife Advisors also help our large employee base by being available even when there is no one in the corporate office to assist with things like setting up direct deposits, changing tax exemptions, enrolling in benefits, etc. Be careful to analyze your needs before you select which Comp Services product you require. If you have an experienced team, the Comp Payroll product may not be for you. However, if you do not have a dedicated payroll person, that team can be helpful. Comp Benefits was extremely helpful at a previous job, especially during Open Enrollment, but they also reconciled invoices and worked on various other projects as they up. When your assigned representative is unavailable, you get put into the general pool of service representatives. Excellence in execution is something we believe in very deeply as a company that teaches continuous improvement. **What do you dislike about ADP Comprehensive Services?** Using some of the services have required that we create more complex processes than a firm of our size might otherwise pursue. For example, the annual review tools are wildly more feature-rich than our annual process. We had to make some substantial changes to how we asked some questions. We also had to take job descriptions and competencies really seriously since they drive a big portion of the review process. That created a big backlog of work that we had to do before we could actually turn on major features in the review process. There are similar issues with the hiring process. Having support in a different time zone than us is an unnecessary issue.
