One new thing I really like about ADP Time and Labor Management is how easy it has become to track employee attendance and work hours in one place. The system feels more user-friendly now, and it helps reduce manual work and errors. I also like the smoother approval process for timesheets and leave requests, which saves a lot of time for both employees and managers.

**What do you dislike about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

ADP Time and Labor Management is good overall, but I feel the system can improve in terms of speed and navigation. Sometimes it takes extra clicks to complete simple tasks like approving timesheets or checking attendance details. The mobile experience can also be made smoother and more responsive for employees who use it regularly on phone.

ADP Time and Labor Management mainly solves the problem of messy, manual time tracking and all the errors that come with it. Without a proper system, tracking employee hours, overtime, and attendance can quickly become confusing and time-consuming.

With ADP, everything is centralized: employees can clock in and out, managers can review and approve timesheets, and the system automatically calculates total hours and overtime. That setup reduces the chances of mistakes like missed hours or incorrect pay, which used to be a major headache.

**What do you like best about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

I manage time records for 320 employees across three office locations and the features i depend on most is the exception dashboard. It highlights missed punches, overtime and policy violations before payroll is finalized. During our last pay cycle it flagged 14 missing punches which i corrected in about 20 minutes instead of emailing every department manager. We connected it with ADP payroll so approved hours move over automatically without exporting spreadsheets or checking duplicate entries.The built in alerts also catch shift conflicts and break rule exceptions before they become payroll issues. Our implementation specialist configured our pay codes and overtime rules correctly during onboarding and we were fully operational within two weeks. Since then, i rarely have to troubleshoot timecards and payroll has been running without the last minute corrections that used to happen almost every cycle.

**What do you dislike about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

The only thing i would like to see improved is the schedule builder when making changes for multiple departments at once. If several supervisors submit updates at the same time, I sometimes need a few extra clicks to confirm every shift adjustment before publishing. It has never affected payroll accuracy and the ADP payroll syncs has remained dependable. Apart from that overtime rules, missed punch tracking and attendance records have been consistent enough that i rarely need to investigate timecards after each pay period.

**What problems is ADP Time and Labor Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ADP Time and Lobor Management payroll week usually meant calling managers to confirm missing punches or incorrect shift hours. A few months ago one department had several employees forget to clock out after an evening shift but the system flagged those records before payroll was finalized. We corrected everything the same day instead of fixing paychecks later. We now manage around 320 employees and having attendance, schedule, overtime rules and payroll connected in one place has made each payroll cycle much smoother. Employees also ask fewer questions about their hours because the records are already accurate before payroll is processed.

**What do you like best about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

I really like being able to access so much more than just my time sheet. I can view current and past paystubs, all of my tax forms and other documents, as well as my benefit information. There are also additional areas that integrate nicely with my employer’s important sites, which makes it even more advantageous.  

I use ADP daily for work and often in reference to information regarding my pay and taxes.  The integration with Intuit/TurboTax was beneficial for me as well.

Remarkably easy to use with superior security measures.

Setting up direct deposit was incredibly easy to do and can even be changed at a later date if needed.  I split my paycheck between two separate accounts and ADP does all the leg-work for me.

**What do you dislike about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

RE: ADP from PC: I wish the section that contains the punch clock were placed at the top of the screen rather than the bottom, since it’s one of the parts of the platform I use most often. I also wish there were a way to adjust the automatic log-out settings. I understand it’s there for security, but when I’m working from home on my own computer and just want to quickly punch out for lunch, I end up having to log back in with three different verification steps. It feels repetitive and like a waste of time, and then I have to go through the same process again when I want to punch back in after lunch. Also, a lot of the links don’t seem to connect to anything—especially under resources/tools. They take you to pages that look like they should have clickable links, but the links aren’t actually clickable.

RE: ADP from mobile: I don’t have access to the punch clock on mobile, which I really wish were available. I’m not sure whether that’s controlled by my specific company’s settings or if it’s an ADP limitation across the board.

I tried using the ADP Assist for support and was not impressed.

**What problems is ADP Time and Labor Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me keep track of all the time I have worked as well as the ability to go back and adjust if I mistakenly forgot to clock in or out after the fact.  This is a communication platform between my employer and myself as I am a remote worker and this is how they can track my hours.  

I love having all my paystubs and tax documents in one nice, neat area- no more paper waste.

I like that it feels easy to track my work hours, and see my pay periods laid out neatly and clearly. I really like that I can have it on my mobile device instead of only being able to clock in and out at the office. I haven't used their customer service line or chat so I cannot comment on that. I also like that i frequently use ADP and it has made my finances easier.

The platforms main page is a bit crowded and could use more succinct styling. I also feel that it would be great to get to see my hours as I accrue them instead of just at the end of the pay period.

It’s a bit challenging to use initially.  The app glitches when staff clock in, support takes forever to respond, and there’s limited flexibility for customizing reports. The best feature of ADP is that they integrate the Card Punching machines data with the timesheet recording and makes the time recording super-efficient.

There is nothing as such if we talk about dislikes as there are no negative points.

**What problems is ADP Time and Labor Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The multilayer softwares that were required earlier such as one to record the employee card punch in timings, the days they attended office was totally dependent on the punching machines or biometrics, but they were not integrated with such a software which can compare the times and days recorded by the employee to understand the gaps. A separate team was required to do this integration at various level and used to result in a costly and complex procedure.

Whereas ADP is super easy to deploy and there is no requirement of any workforce to integrate the data from various channels such as punch machines, timesheets and leave portals. All the data is integrated and connected by ADP software deployed at multiple layer and can store the database centrally and provides single pane of interaction.

The ADP customer support is really knowledgeable especially for payroll and HR. Implementation needs planning and training. Strong within ADP ecosystem, external integration is possible.

I also like some of the advanced capabilities such as labor forecasting as well as time and labor forecasting and monitoring. I have found those features to be both time saving and money saving

The hardest part about this ADP software is that it's very challenging to learn to use.

 it takes a lot of time and energy just to get up and running and unfortunately customer service is not always the best. Sometimes you'll get someone who is very supportive and walks you through things and is extremely helpful other times you won't even find the right contact that you need or it'll be someone that is not willing to spend the time to help educate you.

I'll also add that the software is rather expensive and probably cost prohibitive to small and maybe even many medium sized businesses.

There isn't really anything I dislike, but I do find the user interface a bit sparse, with quite a lot of empty white space. Another thing I've noticed is that it seems you can only compare two paychecks at a time. Finally, I'm not a fan of the plain statement that says "your take home has increased/decreased by X% from the past paycheck," as it doesn't provide any detailed breakdown of the individual pay components.

It's my "payment portal", my one stop shop for my tax document, pay stubs and everything related. It gives me a birds eye view of how much gross salary I got and how much got taxed and went in benefits so just looking at those trends help me determine anomalies. Also, when I moved companies, the ADP portal had my W2 for both companies so I didn't have to worry about receiving it in mail and stuff. Really nifty and gets the job done.

I do not like much of anything with this service.  The Once the reports are set up properly (Not easy to do) then it's nice to pull the information out of the system.

I do not like the high cost of this product and I also hate the customer support as you usually get a new account manager every 6 months as they quit due to being over worked.  It is difficult to create reports or add new earning codes to the system. I am not a big fan of this product when you can get easier to use products such as paycor.  Also the interface into Abila MIP was poor as you had to download the data and then make manual manipulations as opposed to a natural interface to our accounting system.

There are also plenty of resources and help documents available, with FAQs. They also have the ability to create custom reports and make automated features on the time card available if needed. Aside from this, it is easy to implement and onboard/offboard people from the platform.

Adjusting the time card can be quite manual and some Excel format reports are hard to modify due to the format, but you can use CSV to workaround it.

I like that ADP keeps everything in one place.  Time tracking, benefits management, and income-related documents are all easy to find on one portal.

**What do you dislike about ADP Time and Labor Management?**

There isn't really anything with ADP that I view as negative.  My experience was mostly positive.  I have never had to reach out for assistance before, and everything seems to flow very well.

With ADP, it is easy to keep time tracking and pay documents all in one place, which helps reduce a lot of incoming questions from employees because it is already available at their fingertips.

I find that navigating the site is fairly easy and I can find the information that I am looking for.

My understanding is that the HR department are not able to do some of the things they were told that they would be able to do when they signed up for the program. That has beem slightly upsetting.

The company is using ADP to track employee hours, manage reviews and write-ups. As a manager, I am able to manage my team and their goals.

At the job I used to work at this is the main go to website to see the number for our pay, all employees really want to see their earnings, so this is where we really got to see the numbers. I liked how it has the feature where you can turn on and off the showing of the numbers, like if you're showing someone the page they can't see how much you make. Also I really liked the pie chart, it's visually appealing.

I only worked there three months, I really didn't spend much time at the ADP website, I only logged in to see my pay earnings.

It helped me see what I had earned that pay period.
