## Adobe XD Reviews
  ### 1. A simple vector design tool for better interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu P. | Adjunct Professor, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I used to use Adobe Photoshop so it was easy for me to grasp it as the interface is almost similar to other Adobe tools. It is easy to install as well. It has rich customer support to solve any problems in integration.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Compared to other tools in market it is loosing AI, personalisation and plugins. It is very expensive which can only afford by big conglomerates. It also has No built-in animation.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping the UX designs. IT helps me to develop some outstanding designs and share and save them in cloud using cloud syncing feature of adobe xd. It is a go to tool for any designer i feel.

  ### 2. Adobe XD, a great tool to make functional and very precise prototypes for our clients.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian v. | Full Stack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD allows us to ensure that clients will receive what they really need since with this interesting software tool we can develop a functional prototype, and ensure product approval before starting the development phase.
On the other hand, the design process is very practical once we have learned to manage all the functionalities, and we also have a library of objects and templates that save a lot of time when creating designs. This is very useful to reuse everything that we have previously developed, considering works with a corporate image.
Additionally, there are different ways to distribute our content, so that they are distributed in presentations, social media, to name a few, considering the application of Adobe XD on cloud or stand alone. It allows us to create a collaborative space and make it easier for people to increase improvements to our project, generate comments and much more.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

In reality, XD has provided an excellent option for us software developers, allowing us to create interactive and functional designs, in addition to allowing our projects to be manipulated by several collaborators simultaneously.
When we work in the stand alone version we must have good processing capacity on our computer and if we do it in the cloud, good connectivity to Wi-Fi or our network is important. Having said this, it is very easy to learn how to use this software and take advantage of all its benefits.
It is important to consider the native storage formats, but if we want to share our projects, we can do this online, we simply click on create link and, once done, we click on the Embed tab, we copy the code and place it anywhere web page that supports embedded frames.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Adobe XD we have been able to create functional prototypes to present to our clients, which guarantees acceptance before starting the development stage. On the other hand, this tool allows collaborative participation in the generation of results, and this is very useful when we want to involve the entire design team.
Additionally, with this software we can create templates with our corporate image and save development time.

For years, it was an innovative way to wireframe and prototype. The prototyping in specific was the most helpful.

The primary reason our team quit using XD was due to the lack of color management in the software. For a design-first team, this made it a frustrating tool.

The repeat grid functionality is a huge time-saver when working on projects with repetitive elements like lists or card layouts. I can simply create a repeat grid and make changes once.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

I've noticed that the learning resources and documentation provided by Adobe XD can sometimes fall short. While the user interface is generally intuitive, I've run into situations where I needed more in-depth guidance.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD is solving the issue of seamless integration across design phases. Previously, transitioning from initial design concepts to interactive prototypes required exporting assets and juggling between different software. This process was time-consuming and often led to inconsistencies in the final product.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

XD is easy to use, and will get the job done. I don't have any major issues with the product, and it has certainly become significantly more usable since the original release.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

It just doesnt have the industry adoption that Figma has. That is very important when it comes to being employable. It also matters when looking for learning resources, since competing software has so much more to learn from.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I teach and practice web design. XD is good for that. It is great that it is included in the complete Adobe subscription. So for a while I was using it in classrooms. But Figma is free for students, which makes it at least as viable an option.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Biagio D. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

XD is a very intuitive but at the same time very valid software for the creation of wireframes, graphical interfaces, UI patterns. It offers many possibilities both on the design and prototype side, with constant updates and new functions. Excellent integration with Illustrator.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

I think XD needs to integrate more animations and more touch gestures. The possibility to insert parallax and sticky elements is missing. Also I would like the ability to enter text into the input fields.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With XD I create design systems, wireframes, and graphic interfaces for websites or apps. I manage both the design and prototyping phases. I have also created interactive presentations to show to my clients.

  ### 26. Responsive prototyping

**Reviewed by:** Julia H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Very likely other Adobe products, easy to use, straight-forward interface.
The tools are simple, integrations with plugins and external libraries work well and there is a lot of configurations you can change to make it look better for you.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The software offers very few interactions when in prototyping mode. This makes difficult to get the best result for high fidelity prototypes and to work in collaboration with dev teams.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As Adobe Xd is included in the Creative Cloud, it becomes a great choice for prototyping once you already have a subscription. The tool is great for responsive design as well.

For those used to working with classic Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator, the transition to the XD interface is surprisingly smooth due to its familiar organization. Its intuitive gesture-based actions such as drag-n-drop and pinch-to-resize make it simple for anyone to use. Features such as symbols, grids, artboards, and custom components make it easier than ever before to create stunning designs from scratch or from templates. The built-in drawing tools empower users with greater control over their creations with tools like the Blur brush, Boolean operations, pathfinder expressions and more.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

So far, there is nothing to dislike about Adobe XD. Working perfectly for me!

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD also allows collaboration across multiple platforms and devices through cloud sharing capabilities so designers can work together in real time on documents that are always up-to-date regardless of where they’re located geographically. Meanwhile mobile previewing capabilities allow designers to preview their projects on any device they choose in order to ensure the final design looks perfect no matter what platform they’re using. Finally, easy integration with other Adobe products means Adobe XD works seamlessly within the Creative Cloud ecosystem with other apps like Photoshop and After Effects giving designers more flexibility than ever before when creating projects from start to finish.

  ### 30. Adobe XD - The Microsoft Paint of UX Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atif U. | Senior UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I find Adobe XD a real lifesaver for designers. It's so convenient to be able to use a single tool that perfectly handles all the different stages of my design process. I particularly love the quickly accessible assets library, where I can populate reusable components and symbols in barely any time at all. Plus, its intuitive GUI is easy to figure out, meaning I'm creating smooth assets like a pro in no time. No wonder they call it 'Experience Design'!

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

One potential dislike of Adobe XD is that it is a relatively new software compared to other design tools, so it may not have as many features or as much community support. Additionally, some users may find the interface to be less intuitive or more difficult to navigate compared to other design tools.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD is a design tool that helps users create and prototype user interfaces for websites and mobile apps. It aims to streamline the design process by providing a range of tools for creating wireframes, prototyping, and testing designs. By using Adobe XD, you can quickly create and test different design options, which can save time and improve the overall quality of your designs. Additionally, Adobe XD's prototyping features allow for easy collaboration and testing with stakeholders, which can help improve the design process and produce better final products.

  ### 31. Streamlining Design Workflows with Adobe XD

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aryan S. | Editorial Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD has a clean and intuitive interface that supports integration with other creative cloud applications. It also provides robust prototyping features and allows responsive design.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD is a comprehensive prototyping tool but has a learning curve, unlike some simpler competitors, its also a part of a really pricey bundle of applications

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD is a one-stop solution for designing and prototyping robust User interfaces while also allowing collaboration and responsive design on the go. Integration with other adobe suite applications is also a welcome feature.

  ### 32. Adobe XD is a great and fast prototyping app but certainly not the best

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dareen M. | Multimedia Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD is fast and quick and responsive as well. Its similarity to other Adobe apps helps with the designer's flow as it is easier to get used to. It is also for the most part comprehensive in terms of prototyping features.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

XD's newness renders it very very buggy and those bugs pop up the more you use the app so for an app and web designer, it can be quite a challenge to work with it. There are workarounds the bugs but they are not always useful and they can also be tiresome and a waste of time.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

XD offers a great solution to any prototyping, app design, and web design needs and it also can act as a fast design app for web graphics such as social media graphics and web ads for example.

  ### 33. An average design and prototyping software from Adobe

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhijith S. | Product Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD is easy to navigate and beginners can quickly learn how to use this software. The interface is pretty simple and creating multiple prototypes is easy with this. More over, creating different states is very handy when working on a design system, it reduces the time taken to create components. Share the prototype over the web allows other stakeholders to review it and leave their thoughts on it.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The software is quite basic for advanced use cases and building designs at scale. Have been facing frequent crashes when opening Abobe XD, overall the experience was very glitchy. The ability of not having multiple pages makes it difficult to manage a large project. Lot of functionalities are missing.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

XD connects seamlessly with the adobe cloud, which makes it easy for cross-collaboration with other Adobe software. It helped me create a quick proof of concept to present my idea with easy.

  ### 34. Good for Visualizations and Prototyping

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dirk E. | Founder & Investor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

We used Adobe XD to design a mobile app. Adobe XD's strengths are also here, and it's easy to learn and work well in teams. The commenting workflows are well set up, and integrations through the Marketplace are also there. Since it is an Adobe product, there is also a large community and, correspondingly a lot of content.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

From the functions, everything is fine and it is a good tool. What we did not like is the pricing model and that it becomes very expensive quite quickly for larger teams.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping and Wireframing for a mobile App. It´s a good software to work closely in teams with Product Designers and Developers. The commenting functions and the possibility to work together is good and helpful in the daily work

  ### 35. Adobe XD has some great features when it comes to building website and mobile application prototypes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

One of Adobe XD's best features is working simultaneously on a prototype with my entire design team. Speeding up the process of completing projects is critical to our business success!

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The biggest problem we have with Adobe XD is that when a member of our organization creates a new project document, only that member can update the share link when presenting to a client. Other members cannot update the share link if this member is not at work that day. This has been a massive problem for us.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD makes it easy for us to collaborate as a team on all our projects. Without this feature, we would waste so many resources trying to keep up with our clients demands.

  ### 36. Adobe is great for prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I've used Adobe XD for years and prefer it to other prototyping tools. Creating wireframes in Adobe XD is seamless. Being able to screen record my prototypes directly through the program is a time saver.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

In the future, I hope Adobe XD resolves the need to update the app if you're working with collaborators. More functionality for building components would also be a great addition to Adobe XD.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD allows me to create both wireframes and functioning prototypes to pass on to developers. It's easy to collaborate with team members and switch between other Adobe programs.

  ### 37. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I can quickly create prototypes. The responsive feature is really great it help a lot in scale the design to smaller devices. In compared with Figma I love XD because I love the usability of Adobe products.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Doing iterations in XD is time consuming.
Collaboration is not that powerful as Figma.
Majorly searching a file in 'your files' is a hectic process , as there is no search option available

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doing iterations is time consuming. Plug-ins are not that much powerful as compared to the other tools.

  ### 38. Intuitive prototyping

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro U. | Freelance , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

One of the attributes that made me use Adobe XD was its prototyping tools, which at the time were more powerful than Figma. Additionally, since I often travel frequently, XD gave me the advantage of working without an internet connection.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The main problem I had with XD is that on some occasions it would give errors and lose access to some files after some updates, always having to keep local backups. And with that, I would lose some time reinstalling to correct some errors.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the time and before discovering Lunacy, it was my preferred tool, allowing me to work and share files with clients and work teams in a simple way.

  ### 39. Much smoother than any other software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaibhav S. | Assistant Manager - Graphics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I really like Adobe XD's user experience because it has only the tools designers need to accomplish UI/UX projects, and the good thing is that it also has prototype features that enable us to present our work with smooth animations so that the viewer will see the actual animations that we had in mind when designing it. Additionally, Adobe XD makes it incredibly simple to share a file with developers or any other team members we want to work on the project with. All you have to do is click the SHARE button. One aspect of the sharing feature that I really appreciate is how simple it makes it to share content with developers. Prior to the creation of XD, designers had to export every asset separately and then provide font sizes, font names, and other information. But as soon as XD entered, everything became so simple.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The only thing I don't like about it is that it is now a paid software application to use. Although everyone can use it for free, there are advanced features that charge fees or an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription in order to use. Even though premium features are not deal-breakers, the free version lacks features like file sharing with team members.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For UI/UX designers like me, it is a problem-solver because it makes it simple to work on projects, share them with developers, get feedback on the design, and share all the necessary assets.

  ### 40. Easy & comfortable to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Easy to use. Very much comfortable UI & UX. Available different tools for different tasks. Shortcuts to make your job easy. Adobe product standard is matched for UI designing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The help feature should be improved. Not very much helpful when it comes to taking help regarding tools & it's usage. Also, need some more features like the Figma tool.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before starting the actual web development, we need a design prototype to showcase the UI to the individual client & stakeholder. Adobe XD is making it easy for us.

  ### 41. Exceptional and polished tool to create your own designs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael B. | ux/ui manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

The possibility to create mockups based on ideas are extremely large. In the team we like to use Adobe XD to create designs that are used for study cases in the projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

I would like to have a more robust tool to edit texts, for example the possibility to add carets to create a list. For the rest I like everything in it.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The possibility to create between cooworkers a design of a project in real time is something really helpful. This increase the productivity while knowing how the different design are being done.

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD has been a great tool for early ideation creating high fidelity mockups of website designs and applications.

The tools and interface are very intuitive to use and helps to solve many business processes and solutions. Adobe XD is a complete all-in-one app, where you can do design UI, co-editing or collaborations, build a design system, or you can also prototype never before seen from competitor apps in this space.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Exporting or converting to other design files
Face glitches while viewing on mobile with responsive web design
Ability to convert the designs from one resolution to other resolution, make really quick responsive design at go.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD offers a great solution and is an excellent tool for creating design concepts and prototyping for business problems and processes. The collaboration feature is one of the best, allowing multiple design members to work and collaborate through real-time cloud-sharing capabilities.

Overall, Adobe XD is a great UX/UI design tool that is best suited for software and website applications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

That I can design the asset library, wireframes, layouts, interactivity, and share with my coworkers.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

I think it's going to be replaced by Figma and I'll have to remake our whole library.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're an insurance startup and there's lots of different things to design everyday. Emails, downloadable documents, applications, landing pages, and user flows. I can do it all inside one program.

It has been an useful tool for me creating previews of potential web sites for my customers, saving me money and time.

  ### 45. Primary design tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srishti C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

Adobe XD provides some great features like repeat grids and creating responsive resized for various viewports for the same component that comes in handy while designing multiple screens.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Although i am satisfied with how the tool behaves and responds, I would really love it to have an infinite canvas and also the ability to create folders with being able to add/delete files to be able to organize them better.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD allows me to create and test my design ideas for building functional solutions to complex business problems and test them with users to get credible feedback for iterations needed to improve the product.

  ### 46. Very intuitive and user-friendly UI!

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

I like the interface and the user-friendly UI. I also like the ability to comment on different slides as well as the different capabilities it offers to designers and developers.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

I dislike that it is often permission-protected for simple features like PNG downloads. I'd like a slightly more feature-rich messaging and commenting interface.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to create prototypes for our customers without having to actually do front or backend development. It saves time and effort to approve designs and layouts before building.

  ### 47. The standard for UX/UI design software.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

Nothing? I think it's rather great to use! It could be cool to have self-definable shortcuts though.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe XD helps me iterate a lot of design solutions without committing to any, so that I can refine my designs and show my employer before moving forward with implementing a design.

**What do you like best about Adobe XD?**

It is very easy for beginners to use this software. Also, it is very user friendly. The most helpful feature of this software is that the assests can be organised within groups or folders.

**What do you dislike about Adobe XD?**

The text justification is a bit tedious on this software. Also, if the file is heavy, it has to be saved on adobe cloud platform, it cannot saved on your desktop.

**What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me in designing layout for my requirements which are often based on real life scenarios. It helps me in conveying my design thoughts to other people.
