"Our go-to solution for video editing"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Adobe Premiere, as part of the CC suite, has been my company's video editing solution for over half a decade. While it's not perfect, it is more than up to the task of what we do -- small to medium-sized industrial and commercial video projects. We deliver for social media, broadcast, live events, and more. I like how well it integrates with the other CC apps that I regularly use, especially Photoshop, Audition, and of course, Media Encoder. The software receives regular updates and improvements that give me confidence in its future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

My team and I will often refer to Adobe Premiere's various crashes as simply "Premiere problems," which we've come to accept as a fact of life in working with Premiere. Thankfully, these seem to have become less frequent as the software has improved. The color panels and adjustments are far behind Resolve in terms of speed and capability, so we often find ourselves doing CC there and then editing in Premiere. I would prefer not to move between two suites that don't communicate, but it's often necessary due to this handicap.

There have been a few times where we've encountered problems while working and were unable to communicate with Adobe's support team, despite utilizing the appropriate channels. Messages/calls not returned, and so on. This lack of communication was very disappointing, especially when we found ourselves at a critical point in a project and had a software issue we couldn't resolve. "Adobe Premiere Pro takes care of all your video editing needs!"

What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Adobe Premiere Pro is an industry-standard software used by professionals in the film, advertising, and marketing industry. It comes packed with a number of exciting features that make video editing so easy and fun! It offers a range of motion graphic templates, effects, transitions, and text fonts. It is also very easy to create or import your own templates, effects, fonts, and transitions. It also supports multiple formats and video types. The best feature, however, is the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. It tops all the other features and is truly the one that makes using Adobe Premiere Pro a wonderful experience! What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Adobe Premiere Pro is loved by professionals from a number of fields. However, the software can be a little difficult to handle for a beginner. I remember when I first started using this, I often felt intimidated by it. Moreover, I always worried that the software might crash anytime leaving me helpless, and in trouble. Additionally, being a heavy software, it requires a system with a very strong processor and lighter systems can't really handle the pressure, making the overall usage of the software a bit expensive. What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Premiere is powerful enough for professional video editing, as I understand it, but also simple enough to be used by the average person looking to throw together some simple, edited videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

To become familiar with all of the powerful features that this program has to offer, you would probably need to get a degree in video editing or at the very least put in a ton of hours studying up on the ins and outs of the software features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I learned video editing on Sony's Vegas, and Premiere feels pretty similar. It feels pretty zippy on my ~2019 $2k desktop computer, no real complaints there. I also use it on my MBP, and it's maybe the only software that I use the touch bar on the MacBook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I cannot figure out how to keep things like presets in the software. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but it feels like presets that get loaded in should stay put. Occasionally it will get a little buggy and the preview panel goes blank until the software is reset. I've also had issues rendering directly from Premiere, so I always use the media encoder queue to do any rendering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

The seamless integration of all aspects of video production makes it a one-stop shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

The pricing system makes it hard to afford or gain access to more than one program. Adobe should consider selling each program individually or in separate tiered packages based on production needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable for big projects"

What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Premier Pro is similar to After Effects in that you can have asset files that you can edit remotely and it will update your Premier Pro project, which is incredibly useful for personal workflow and team projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

The personal workspace is sometimes difficult to set up and keep when switching between projects if you're not a pro. It should be the easiest thing to do in any UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
