"Powerful, Non-Destructive Photo Editing with a Seamless Cloud Workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

Notably, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom excels as an ecosystem for picture editing as well as long-time picture management. What allows it to shine strongest is its unification of professional picture editing capabilities with an effective long-time workflow. While the editing model uses a non-destructive approach where each change remains reversible to an extent, the absence of the need to get it right the first time allows for more exploration.

The ability of a user of this software, specifically, that a user could open a photo organization project, begin working, and then resume work at a later time using a desktop computer while never having to actually transfer a file, presents a prominent benefit of this cloud-based system of organization. The look of this system is also integrated throughout computer systems, which lessens the transition from a computer-user interface standpoint. The sophisticated tools save a tremendous amount of time that would otherwise take great accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

One disadvantage with the pricing mechanism is the subscription cost. Although it may not be a major issue for some individuals, it is especially true when the user is not using the application the entire year. Over the years, the cost adds up to be significant, especially in situations where more cloud storage is required. Nobody seems to have enough storage space because the high-resolution RAW files eat up space.

Another limitation is when dealing with libraries that contain a very large number of items. When dealing with tens of thousands of pictures, there is often a delay while generating previews—though these instances are not constant. Finally, while carrying out some tasks, there is a limitation with some of the more sophisticated organizational tools that come with Lightroom Classic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Features, Performance Needs a Boost"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom because I've used it for so many years and I feel really at home editing there. It has a lot of features for precise and high-quality editing, which is great compared to other tools. I also appreciate the new AI-based features like intelligent masking for blurring backgrounds, and despite all these features, the UI doesn't feel overloaded. It's very nice, especially on mobile. I also like being able to import filters from other creators. Although it has many features and settings, it's still easy for me to keep an overview and not get lost in all the settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I would say performance is one thing on mobile. My phone is running very hot if I do raw edits or edits with a lot of AI usage or cloning. The phone just goes up in temperature, and the screen dims. On desktop, it can be hard for beginners to keep an overview and to learn all the features because there's so much stuff in there. I can imagine that if you start now, it can be quite a hassle to really get 100% out of it, as you need to set up all the UI and learn all the keyboard shortcuts. The price is at least one thing that you have to consider if you don't make money with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I feel slow with large photo libraries, its cloud storage gets expensive quickly, and some advanced editing controls are priced more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I like that Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is easy to use and has many tools to edit photos in one place. Presets are a big plus as they save time and make my photos look good with simple adjustments. They let me apply a ready-made style in one click, providing a consistent look to many pictures, which is super helpful when editing a large set. The initial setup was very easy too. What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

Sometimes Adobe Photoshop Lightroom feels slow when working with many high-resolution photos, and exporting takes time. Cloud sync also needs good internet, which is not always available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I currently don’t like that some pictures that are uploaded in the app are not clear and instead grainy and not clear making the edit prices hard. Also, sometimes when removing or editing pictures it affects the other items in the picture or flyer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Custom Filters Make Photo Editing a Breeze"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?

I especially appreciate being able to create custom filters, as this allows me to apply a consistent lighting and atmosphere to my photos. This capability is ideal for keeping a unified appearance across your social media feed or for adding a distinctive stylistic flair to your photography. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom?
