"Accessible video formats made easier by Adobe Media Encoder"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Video processing and editing is a tedious process. Ever since I discovered Adobe Media Encoder, I no longer worry about having my video in different formats according to what I need. It made my design and editing process time-efficient and convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Adobe Media Encoder may need to be reviewed especially if you're not familiar with editing tool interfaces. It took me a few tutorials and practices to get a hold of what I could do with the tool. Other than that, it has been a smooth experience and I could not ask for a more supporting tool for my video editing needs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Probably the most versatile encoder out there!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Adobe Media Encoder has been my go-to encoder for over a decade now and it's versatility handling various file formats and the integration with Premiere Pro is absolutely stellar! On top of that, it takes advantage of the GPU cores in my M1 Pro Macbook which speeds up my entire workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

I can't really think of anything I dislike except perhaps the fact that all my custom settings need to be re-created after an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Renders my videos from After Effects and Premiere Pro"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Getting Media Encoder to render a few videos from AE or Premiere is simple. I usually cue up my videos, add my presets and render. The render engine works as it should and I like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

When there are errors with renders, I sometimes would like to know what the actual reason is, you'll have to view logs for that, instead of just displaying it as a popup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, easy, gets the job done"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Once I have my specs and export locations set, exporting seamless. I much prefer using this over exporting from another adobe app.

I love how seamlessly I can hop from Premiere to Encoder simply by selecting to export with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

There isn't much guidance provided about specs to select. With advancements in AI, it would be awesome if Encoder could suggest the best specs / settings when exporting for your case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MUST HAVE APP for all of your video exporting needs"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Media Encoder makes exporting videos easy. I can export one video through Encoder while editing another video in Premiere Pro. With an updated computer, Media Encoder will export your videos quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

I have very little to discuss on the dislike section. The only issue I have run into on occasion is videos not exporting properly and sound results in a syncing error. Sometimes Adobe's updates run into compatibility issues with updates on my Mac, but those generally get fixed in no time. It's still exponentially faster to export through Encoder than through Premiere Pro or After Effects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encoder is multifaceted software. Use inside Adobe products or as a standalone encoder. The Best"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

You can use Adobe Media Encoder to convert your audiovisual files to any format (that is currently supported by the Adobe Creative Cloud suite). This is just one of the many reasons why I continue to subscribe monthly to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Additionally, if you work in robust programs such as Premiere Pro and After Effects, the Adobe Media Encoder is built directly into the programs. So if you want to see how a finished section of your timeline will look, you can set in and out points and render out your clip. This way you can watch it on the big screen to make sure everything is perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about the Adobe Media Encoder. An additional free benefit with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is many of these software programs are included in your membership. Not to mention any time there is a software update, you can update when you want. You are not handcuffed by those "automatic updates." You get to pick when and if you want to install the updates. Plus Adobe tells you what is included in the update. Furthermore, Adobe also releases beta test versions so you can play around to see how the new features will work. Also, Adobe wants to hear from their users to report any bugs or fixes they think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"After years of a great professional interface Adobe, its now a clunky consumerish interface."
3/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Does the job, but with hiccups. It works great on smaller projects, and batch conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

The last major update re did the interface. Now instead of a simple interface showing everyhting you needed at once, everything is in a drop down menu, and sometimes you need to go into a drop down menu within a previous dropdown menu. It used to have such a cliean eafy to follow interface, but someone ruined it. Some long renders (progects over over 20 minutes) will have it hang for over an hourwhen the progress bar is at its done. Sometimes pausing and restarting the ender will make it finish, othertimes you ned to restart the project. Its not as efficient as it uesed to be Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great software to export with a variety of codec."
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

This software enables me to render videos from Adobe Premiere Pro with just a click. It also has a number of video codecs which is very useful when you've a client who wants so many different quality videos of various sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

I don't like the fact that Adobe Media Encoder crashes every now and then which is very annoying when you've a lot on your table. Even after reporting it to Adobe so many times, they just don't wanna fix the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
