Lack of integration with my Adobe CC membership

  ### 3. LMS - Making things EASY

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The ability to easily track, review and administer tests to staff via LMS, cost effective. Intergrates well with Microsoft Office programs, retrained many staff members in a very short time. We also use this for monthly, quartlery and yearly mandatory trainings.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Some issues using the app from phones and non desktop sources, at times issues with reporting, showing complete to the user, and not complete to the admin/manager for a short period of time. In the begninig, very hard to navigate...once you get the hang of it is a lot easier to manage

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

Easy to use, great way to getting information to staff and ensure they retain the training. Auto reports can be set up, easy to navigate once you get the hang of all the options. Must have certain programs to get all the bells and whistles to work; Testing can be done in many forms, multiple choice, true or false, free form answering. Staff did not have many complaints less some connectivity issues and showing complete from non desk top devices, all in all, we are happy with this program. Fast paced business, need for on-going continuous training to be done efficiently and correctly. This is the program to use, compared to most, it is cost effective and works, if used the right way.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring our staff are trained and retain the training on a repetitive basis, ensuring we track training. Cost effective to allow staff to learn on their own time or while working on company approved devices. Saves time and money to train staff

More engagement possible

  ### 5. Great tool with innovative features!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Adobe Captivate Prime offers many features that help with Employee Training on our team. The tool helps to organize and manage training as well as track certificates for the employee portfolio process at our company.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

There are so many features that I do not know how to use still. Some features are not user-friendly or intuitive. I need to spend more time playing around with the other aspects of the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

Spend time to look at the capabilities and features. Adobe Captivate Prime can do ALOT, but it takes time to work through everything and figure out what it does and how it can fit with your organization.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had issues in the past with keeping track of employee training. The training was coming from multiple locations (HR, in-house, team trainer, etc.) with absolutely no way to track what was done, if employees were meeting compliance deadlines, etc. This tool has helped to organize everything. It's easy to go in and see where each employee is at in the training cycle and who needs to complete specific trainings. It also helps the team manager when the need arises annually for goal-creation, promotion tracking, career pathing, and restorative action for employees put on performance plans.

  ### 6. Simple and straightforward LMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

This LMS is very easy to set up yet has a nice range of functionality. I particularly like the speed of course creation and the reporting that can be set up for team managers etc

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Sometimes found the help documents difficult to navigate when searching 'how to do something'.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

Definitely try it out. It is quick to set up and the trial means that you have no costs to try and plenty of time.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A client of mine wanted to start using an LMS for both internal employees and employees of their customers. Adobe Prime offered them a very low cost way to enter the market and plenty of time on the trial version to test whether the LMS was for them or not.

Going forward I will defintiely be recommending other clients use Adobe Prime - especially my smaller clients who do not have good IT infrastructure and support.

It was simply too big for our needs and beyond our price point.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The price. It’s a little out of our price range.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There isn’t really any tool that does everything we need in terms of authoring contend. You can put together assets in photoshop and put them into PowerPoint then share in Moodle but in captivate it’s a much smoother workflow.

  ### 14. Great LMS System for Starters! Worth a look!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I love how easy this is to set up. The tutorial videos and guides within Captivate are great. This makes it easy to get set up and going quickly! It's easy to set up certifications and track skills. The reporting is easy to use too. Overall it's a great starter LMS. If you are in the market for a new LMs, definitely add this to your list of systems to compare.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It's not an LXP (Learning Experience Platform) and lacks some of the more modern features of newer systems. It could do with improved social features and gamification, which are on the weaker side here. If you have more advanced needs, you'll need to compare various systems out there to be sure that Captivate Prime will meet your needs. I dislike the fact that I can't tailor the system as much as others I've seen out there like Docebo.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

This is a great solution but make sure you compare to LXPs to be sure it meets your needs.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 22 offices and need our 900+ employees to be able to access training as and when they need to. We also don't have the budget to fly people all over the world when we onboard new starters or enroll managers in leadership training. Captivate Prime allows us to roll out training to offices without a trainer. We've been able to upload all sorts of content from videos of our subject matter experts and business leaders. We haven't finished roll out yet but believe this will be a great system for us.

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

The interface is organized in a easy to use layout. Course building is easy. Support for different file types is a big plus. It allows users to review all different roles from, administrator to content editor, learner or manager. ADobe connect integration is very welcomed.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It is not very suitable for educational institutions like universities. Socializing facilities like comments or chat options are not easily reachable and not very convenient. Notifications of comments and replies are also not very good.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to organize a distance education module. Assigning tasks to learners is very easy. Keeping track of learners progress is beneficial.

As a registered Adobe user, quality is very high I recommend the integration of Adobe assets with this LMS.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Found the course more suitable to commercial application.
It is important to have all your assets ready to start building the course and it would take some planning beforehand. This is not an LMS for lighthearted course development, and I do see this LMS as best suited to an ultra security conscious commercial environment that protects its assets like fort knox! For this reason alone, as a business, I would buy it.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great product as part of a Programme of On-boarding; CPD; and Certified achievements for specific progression in roles at work and also on an Apprenticeship Scheme to manage; track; and record lessons learnt and use it as a tool to book sessions that are recorded for due diligence

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxwell D. | Content Ingest Developer, Libraries, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I find that captivate prime has most of the current market standard features plus more. From features such as setting learning paths for students to others such as reporting, gamification and user tracking etc.
I found the set up easy enough, even as a new admin user and was able to load content within a few minutes. I was especially impressed with the simple interface that reduced the platform learning curve for me and the course set up/deployment time.
I think the option to breakdown a course content upload to three sections (core modules, prework modules, and testout) is a great feature. Although a little more work, this would improve tracking and provide more detailed usage data/student interaction with the modules.
I also liked that it has gamification elements available for use for individual or group learning.
On the pricing module, I like the flexibility to add and remove users on a monthly basis, which is ideal for selling subscription-based courses.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I would like to see a pricing module targeted at educational institutions as there currently doesn’t seem to be one. It is unfortunate that it seems only targeted at corporate institutions at this point.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing corporate and educational institutional e-learning needs requires a robost, responsive and modern platform that is easy to use (by admins and users), responsive for multi-device deployment, provides accurate usage tracking data for content review among others. Adobe Captivate helps meet all these for my training needs

  ### 37. A modern LMS with some standout features

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Easy set up and smart rules
There are several smart rules which can be built into ACP which allow automatic assigning of teams, courses and learning paths when someone is created or registered in the system. Other LMS’s provide this, but the way this is set up in ACP is intuitive and smart. It drastically cuts down the time needed to get people up and running on the LMS and will save the time that LMS administrators would usually take setting people up.

Offline Content
ACP seem to have done this better than any other LMS I have trialled. The ability to download all course content and use the system offline, while still experiencing the system as if offline, is a superior offering from ACP.

Publishing from Adobe Captivate
We already use Captivate to create our eLearinng content and publish our SCORM compliant training packages. Having a system that allows us to publish quickly and easily from our eLearning authoring program to our LMS saves time.

Instructor role
One unique part of ACP is having a dedicated instructor role which allows training instructors to log in and manage all of their training activities. Other LMS’s have this but tend to be quite complex. The way a user experiences this in ACP is simple and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Pricing is a little higher than other LMS's.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

Pricing is a little higher than other LMS's - not sure if the features outweigh the price.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy update of user details and assigning to training activities.

  ### 38. Not easy for the new guy

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime):**

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 39. Professional LMS but make sure it fits your needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin Y. | Educational Technology Consultant, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Attractive and intuitive platform.
The all-in-one player dubbed the “Fluidic Player” makes adding content from popular providers simple with all require plugin preinstalled(PDF, PPT, and DOCX files, and xAPI-, SCORM-, and AICC-compliant packages).
Basic gamification with the ability to customize pages and complete for course completion points with co-worker is helpful feature to promote friendly competitiveness in the office.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

nteractive content for Q & A, quizzes that would allow companies to check for user competency are not built into the product. Interaction from 3rd party products are available, but this is an added step and cost.
Data gathered on users is limited to completion of courses and time spent on courses. This data doesn’t provide companies with knowledge of user proficiency.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Professional experience, easy setup

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

1. Covers various methods of course delivery
2. Integrates with external content providers.
3. Makes it easier to define a skill and provide content covering it.
4. Provides the user/admin with several views in the same tab, eliminating the need to have
to sign in on a different page to see the learner’s perspective
5. Great built in tutorials.
6. Many options to set up automatic emails upon the happening of an event, all organized
by categories.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

1. The service is a bit expensive as it is based on the number of users and does not include
a flat fee for a set number as provided by other services
2. Cannot use interactive content for job aids

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organize learning content and provide learners with one place of access to educational information.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

For more detailed features, there needs to be more how-to-use videos so managers or admins can easily use all the features.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning is easy and not complicated as is the case with other LMSs. Navigation and using the LMS is simple and easy for the learners.

  ### 43. A great LMS solutions for our clients

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

Scorm compliancy is essential as we design our courses in Articulate Storyline. It's user friendly. I love the additional tools like Course effectiveness which is useful not only to the learner but also to us a developer to ensure that our courses are clear and effective. The iPad app is an added benefit for our learners who like to learn on the go and have the synchronous learning option. The administration side is also easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

It would be great if there allowed for more interaction between learners on the course. Otherwise there were no significant issues on our trial period.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LMS solutions for our clients that we develop courses for.

It's quite a feat to have software that is easily navigable and easy to use. Adobe Captivate Prime LMS does this with ease. The user interface is sleek and allows users to find what they are looking for quickly and points you to the right direction whether you're adding users, making courses or developing learning programs.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I found that there wasn't enough customization for my business logos and colours, but it's really a very minor to have.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training my team and people around me. It's very easy to create something for people with knowledge on a particular topic, and then share that with the wider team as time goes on.

I find it pretty easy to use- similar to working with a Powerpoint. Basic editing of audio is pretty easy to work with and editing the timing of the presentation is not too difficult.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime)?**

I wish there was an easier way to edit the audio for the entire presentation rather than just one slide at a time. I have also had difficulties with publishing the video and viewing them to preview what it would look like when it’s published online.

**What problems is Adobe Learning Manager (formerly Adobe Captivate Prime) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows a lot of users to see video of something related to my companies’ software.
