Adobe Illustrator is great for creating logos - among many other things. For me personally, creating logos on Adobe Illustrator has been what I utilize this program for the most for my work. You need to be a pretty experienced graphic designer to fully understand this program. I would say it's kind of harder to grasp than Adobe InDesign or Adobe Photoshop in my own experience. I think by using Adobe Illustrator, one will become more appreciative of designers themselves because he or she learns how much goes into even the most simplest design.
