They recently updated it, and I love the recent files feature. It is so nice to see what the document is called vs just guessing you have it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it takes a long time for all the features to load, this only happened after the recent update. but software it self is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing, Everything thing in this tool is perfect with no bug Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe Illustrator is my go-to tool for creating clean, scalable graphics for our marketing materials. Its vector-based design ensures crisp, high-quality visuals that can be scaled for everything from web use to large signage, while the ability to use multiple artboards allows me to organize entire campaigns in one file. Seamless integration with other Adobe apps like InDesign and Photoshop streamlines my workflow when developing brochures or product guides, and I love the customization options, including brushes and 3D plug-ins that help me experiment with textures to highlight our hardwood designs. Illustrator's precision alignment tools, grids, and smart guides are especially valuable for ensuring all elements are perfectly aligned, reflecting the craftsmanship of our furniture. Overall, it offers the flexibility, precision, and professional quality needed to bring our sleek, sustainable designs to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Adobe Illustrator is an essential tool for my work, there are a few aspects I find frustrating. The learning curve can be steep for beginners, with a multitude of tools and options that can feel overwhelming. It can also be resource-intensive, causing occasional slowdowns or crashes, especially when working with complex files. Additionally, some basic functions, like image cropping or working with multiple layers, feel less intuitive compared to other Adobe programs, which can disrupt the design flow at times. Despite these drawbacks, its overall capabilities still outweigh the inconveniences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best things about Adobe Illustrator is its precision and versatility in creating vector-based artwork. The ability to scale designs infinitely without losing quality is incredibly valuable, especially for logos, icons, and illustrations. The wide range of tools—like the Pen tool, Shape Builder, and custom brushes—offer complete creative freedom. Additionally, the seamless integration with other Adobe products like Photoshop and InDesign makes it easy to streamline workflows across different design projects. One downside of Adobe Illustrator is its steep learning curve, especially for beginners. The interface can be overwhelming with so many tools and options, making it challenging to navigate initially. Additionally, Illustrator can be resource-intensive, sometimes causing performance issues or lag on less powerful computers, particularly when working with complex or large files. Lastly, the subscription model through Adobe Creative Cloud can be expensive, especially for freelancers or small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Adobe Illustrator is how precise and flexible it is. The vector tools are great for making anything from detailed designs to simple logos, and everything stays sharp no matter how much you resize it. Plus, it works really well with other Adobe apps, so it’s easy to move between projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don’t like about Adobe Illustrator is that it can feel a bit overwhelming with all the tools and features, especially if you’re new to it. It also tends to be pretty resource-heavy, so it can slow down your computer if you’re working on a big file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Adobe Illustrator is that we can implement new drawing styles at a vector level, and this helps us apply it in various media, both digital and print. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don't like about Illustrator is that there should be more extensions to make the work easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a graphic designer, I use Adobe Illustrator daily to create vector graphics for logos, illustrations, and print designs. Its precision and range of tools make it an essential part of my design toolkit Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Illustrator is a highly complex software with many tools and features, which can feel overwhelming to new users. Mastering it can take time, especially for those without prior design experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Illustrator has any design need that I require. There are different user presets that allow for more of a beginner's or expert's preferred interface. It is quite intuitive, and when it is not, there are always prompts that you can click for a quick instruction. It works better than anything I've used in the past, which is nice because it is a product that I use everyday. I've only had to reach out to Customer Support one time and they were quick in getting me a solution. Illustrator easily integrates with all other Adobe products and can be implemented to anything you could imagine. Illustrustrator is great for work or just as a hobby designer. While it can be nice for beginners, there is still a bit of a learning curve to utilize all of the neat tools that Illustrator has to offer. But there is access to all sorts of tutorials provided by Adobe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that there are some AI tools that kinda work sometimes. Adobe Express shows promise, if they ever get it to work right or expand it beyond hair salons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tools are always being "upgraded" to push aside the things you really count on in favor of useless things you don't need. It is so clear that new releases are based on the wet dreams of programmers and zero customer feedback. It is well known that customer service and support has been on the decline for years. OK, its hard to find good people these days. But I would prefer that they simply got rid of support instead of using these horrible people who lie to you and hang up on you and are rude and are not empowered or trained to do anything at all. Why waste my time and play games to anger me, just tell me to deal with no support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that I can do graphic design and publishing in the same app. I can create a marketing phamplet, brochure with all the graphics done in Illustrator and the text being done as well. The ability to export in many formats is also great and the many, many features to do whatever you need to for custom graphics. It also allows youto take any vector graphic and revise it. Not a dislike exactly...but since there are so many features in Illustrator, you might have to look up some of the elements if you don't use them all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how powerful Illustrtator is, once you get the hang of it it is really easy to use and easy to make complicated designs. Adobe customer support is really good. I use this software every day and love all the features, the new ai features are also a nice touch too. It integrates really well with the rest of the Adobe package too. The software can be a tricky to learn initially but it is a very powerful tool once you understand it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
