Adobe Fresco is a new app for the artist on the go. I use it on a third-generation iPad Air, which supports the Apple Pencil. This app replaces one or more of the mobile Photoshop and Illustrator apps, which you can continue to use, but Adobe will stop supporting. Fresco has an easy-to-use interface, if you are familiar with other Adobe apps like Illustrator and Photoshop. The app provides lots of different brushes, and you can import additional Adobe brush files. You can save your documents to Adobe Creative Cloud and use the “premium” features if you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is geared towards people who like to sketch and paint freehand. This app is new, and does not have several basic features I would expect, like the pen tool and the ability to draw geometric shapes like circles, rectangles and triangles. You need to use workarounds. Adobe plans to develop the app further and has published a list of future features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
