"Fast and User-Friendly, But Credit System Could Improve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

Adobe Firefly is a user-friendly and intuitive program that is easy to pick up and learn. However, I have noticed that it can be slow at times when generating images or video clips. I am using the standard version, for which I paid around $10 and received approximately 2,000 credits. Not a bad deal at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?

I am not a fan of Adobe Firefly’s use of a credit system instead of offering a straightforward monthly or annual subscription. When I tried to generate an AI video, I noticed that the credits were calculated based on 24 frames per second, meaning each second of video consumed 24 credits, as if each frame counted as a separate image. I would much prefer if Adobe eliminated the credit system entirely and switched to a subscription model with monthly or yearly payment options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

I like that Adobe Firefly is integrated into the Creative Suite and the design programs that I use every day. I also appreciate that Firefly now allows the use of the NanoBanana model for image generation, which is a good addition. The setup has been pretty straightforward too. "Great Integration and Asset Management, But UI Focus on AI Content Frustrates"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

I appreciate how Adobe has incorporated Firefly directly into its various applications, and I also like that there is a standalone Firefly app available. As always, the CreativeCloud library simplifies linking assets across all the other services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?

Personally, I find it frustrating that the application layout places such a strong emphasis on displaying the AI-generated content from other users. This is a common issue I’ve noticed with most AI tools, but Adobe’s particular focus on this design aspect makes it even more disappointing for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

The ability to create useful and meaningful imagery quickly on the fly is amazing. It allows me to utilize AI and generate exactly what I need for my website as well as my marketing materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?

Sometimes the AI prompt needs a lot of extra direction. I find that this can make things take a little longer. I think there needs to be more in terms of pop culture information fed into AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Creative Freedom and Seamless Design Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

I like to go into Adobe Firefly to design different ideas freely, like a space where I can express what’s in my head. It helps me give others a visual of my ideas, whether for ads, murals, or paintings, and lets my ideas come to life. I enjoy using the AI because everything is seamlessly integrated, and it has a minimal interface that focuses on prompts precisely. I like the sidebars with options for adjustments, filters, and refinements, giving me full creative control, which is my favorite feature. It makes the image sharper, improves contrast, and pops the colors more. I also like that the auto-improvement prompts allow the AI to assist with making images sharper and more vibrant. We’re really liking Adobe Firefly and appreciate that it has an assistant to help when you can't come up with ideas, by letting you input a general idea and work your way in. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accelerates Storyboarding with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?

I love how Adobe Firefly drastically reduces the time it takes to make simple storyboards and assists with other mundane tasks like scene setups and color palette ideas. The speed at which I'm able to brainstorm is amazing, and it helps me get rid of the dreaded writer's block or idea block, saving a ton of time setting up projects. I also find Firefly Boards to be amazing as they help stir creativity. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly easy since I'm already familiar with Adobe products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?

I'm skeptical about the option to use ChatGPT in particular and other third-party models. I trust Adobe when it comes to acquiring permissions but do not trust the third-party models. I don't think Adobe needs to implement third-party models at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
