What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I like Adobe Experience Manager's features and functionality, which are really helpful in my marketing activities. The usability is easy, and the content management aspect, in particular, is straightforward to use. I find the user interface and layout contribute significantly to its ease of use. The toolbar is great, making it even more user-friendly. Setting it up initially was also easy, which is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Experience Manager and What It Can Do For You"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I love its ease of use and the number of invaluable features. The product was easily integrated into my digital ecosystem and provided a seamless implementation into my environment. While I use the product frequently, I rarely need to take advantage of Adobe's outstanding customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I don't like the very high cost of ownership for Adobe Experience Manager. Also, there seems to be a very steep learning curve to use the product effectively at the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Utilizing Adobe Experience Manager at ABB for centralizing website technologies"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

What I really appreciate is the flexibility to use nearly any platform as a content backend. Whether it's Google Drive, SharePoint, or a variety of CDNs such as Cloudflare—using a Cloudflare Worker—Akamai, Fastly, or even a custom CDN setup, the options are extensive. I find it especially useful that I can use documents and spreadsheets stored in Google Drive or content from SharePoint as sources, which adds a lot of convenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I am not particularly fond of how expensive Adobe Experience Manager seems to be when it comes to annual site licensing costs, especially compared to its competitors. Additionally, I am not a big fan of Java stacks in general. On the positive side, being able to handle styling using only npm and Node.js is a decent consolation. "Powerful Yet Complex for Smaller Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I find Adobe Experience Manager amazing for B2C and B2B sales and marketing. What stands out most about Adobe Experience Manager is its ability to centralize content and support consistent brand delivery across multiple channels. I appreciate how it combines content management, digital assets, and personalization within a single platform. It's an impressive and user-friendly all-in-one tool that's quite easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager appears powerful but complex. The learning curve seems steep, especially for smaller teams without dedicated technical resources. Implementation and maintenance look resource-intensive compared to lighter CMS solutions, and the overall cost may be a barrier for organizations that don't need enterprise-level scale. "Great for Enterprises, But Costly and Complex for Smaller Teams"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

AEM is excellent for business. It is powerful as it works in large enterprises where non technical users can manage web pages without developer help. The author , publish mode is enterprise grade and from a developer’s perspective using vanillaJS and CSS for frontend is easy and beginner friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

As for me, I am someone who was used to working with SPA frameworks. Compared to these, AEM feels over engineered. Also you would mostly see only large enterprises using it and not small teams or startups as the license cost and maintenance cost is enormous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Tool, Needs Better Performance"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I like the flexibility of Adobe Experience Manager to support multiple use cases. Also, since we are using AEM Cloud, the initial setup was pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I'm concerned about how Adobe Experience Manager will expand with an AI-native approach, especially as marketing and content teams look to create content directly from AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, instead of using a separate AEM platform. I'm also not entirely satisfied with the performance and better CDN capabilities of Adobe Experience Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Needs Better Integration Despite Adobe Synergy"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I like the unification with various other Adobe tech stack when using Adobe Experience Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

I find Adobe Experience Manager's lack of integration frustrating. It doesn't effectively unify with other Adobe tech like it should, which limits the potential benefits we could get from it. The product details aren't integrated into the system like PIM, so everything has to be done manually. It should suggest how to run platforms to ensure clients use the tech to its full potential. "Flexible, Scalable SaaS With Strong Customization and Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

The SaaS model stands out, along with the solution’s flexibility and scalability, and the level of customization possible through the integrated technologies. I also appreciate the available integration points and the out-of-the-box connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Pricing is pretty high, with additional overhead on top of the basic necessities. Performance scoring is poor with the client libraries model, and it ends up forcing clients to implement headless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamlessly Integrates, Enhances Authoring Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I appreciate Adobe Experience Manager for its better integration with other Adobe products, which really enhances our workflow. I particularly enjoy the authoring experience, making content creation more efficient. The digital asset management (DAM) feature is also something I like, as it helps in organizing and managing our digital assets effectively. The initial setup was easy, which was a relief, and I definitely feel confident in recommending Adobe Experience Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The file names sometimes don't work properly and images don't show. I would like it to allow special characters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
