Its not useful, for storing types of assets such as images, videos, and documents. It would be better if it provided customization options to cater to organizations specific needs. It requires some time for new users to get accustomed to it. There are instances where the platform becomes slow or unresponsive which is frustrating when trying to work. Integrating with Adobe Creative Cloud tools is not helpful overall it leads to compatibility issues and glitches. Adobe Experience Manager Assets has not resolved the problem of managing assets by providing a poor solution. It is cumbersome and has poor development documentation and support. The AEM uses a lot of obsolete and slow technologies like JCR, Sling. Also, I should mention that it is not Open Source. If you enter search terms, click on an asset to get a closer look, and then go back, you will lose your search terms and results.
