It's easy to use and highly functional in all the ways I need. I really like the split-screen live preview next to the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how difficult it was to figure out why I couldn't open an "htm" file when I first started using the newest version of the app. I didn't realize that my "htm" file lacked the proper extension (i.e. ".htm" or ".html" at the end of the file name), so the file opened in code-only view; there was no way to display a live preview. I later discovered that I needed to add the file extension, but it wasn't easy to realize the simple mistake. It'd be really nice if Adobe created an error message to explain this. This code and design editor is multifunctional as well as practical for everything related to the development of websites as well as apps; it has many tools and options that help develop professional projects, in addition to having excellent error detection and handling of commands, it also has a preview to see everything that is being developed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like you to have more options for the development of applications for mobile devices as well as effects and pre-designed commands for the design of the projects to work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about Adobe Dreamweaver is that we can make a professional website and can use outsourced extensions to make our website more effective. Adobe Dreamweaver reduces too many bugs in 1 to 2 years which I like the most. It has a user-friendly environment that helps the beginner to develop any website using HTML and CSS. The least helpful thing about Adobe Dreamweaver is that we can't use 3rd party tool with built-in functions in this platform at a time which makes a code sometimes difficult to execute but although this is also a good thing in a way of security purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoyed developing websites through Adobe Dreamweaver, it's a nice real-time IDE. I liked that it autocompletes codes and code blocks, debugging errors quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest problem that I didn't like in Adobe Dreamweaver and that made me stop using it was that it was constantly freezing. What I didn't understand was that there was a lot of ram usage and it would freeze even when I wrote a line of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use was the best feature in my opinion. I knew nothing about putting my online store together, but Dreamweaver made me look like a professional in no time at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was a bit overwhelming and hard to figure out at first. I had to do a lot of exploring & trying things out to figure out how to use the program. But honestly once I figured out all of the features there was nothing to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like this tool because web development coding is easy to use like the coding type first letter type so this tool suggests an option for what you want, making a very easy use for coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not anything coding-related dislike for this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about Dreamweaver is it's intuitive design and the program itself. As an website designer I liked that while I was using it I can use live preview while I worked on my html and css. It not only showed the progress but it gave me an good idea of where I'm at. Another thing I'd like to mention is it's a nice program but beginners might find it harder to learn while more advanced designers think of it as too simplistic. What I dislike about it so far is as opposed to other programs like brackets it doesn't have an ad-ons that will show your mistakes in the code so you can go back and fix it. It's expensive for what it offers compared to other programs. Lastly, it's just less efficient and cookie cutter compared to other programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the fact that it's part of the Adobe suite. A lot of other coding programs especially apps and web ones have ads and not such a clean interface. Dreamweaver has a clean interface and updates the color codes to help even those beginner coders. Adobe Dreamweaver also has template-codes to help users get started. There are other programs like Visual Studio that offer tips and highlight html/css coding errors as the user is typing out the code. This is something I wish Adobe Dreamweaver had, but lacks user-guidance portion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
