I believe Adobe Connect is the best platform on the market for the kind of online events my organization hosts. We are a public university and our target audience is high school students. Adobe Connect allows us to have different pods for slides, videos, and chats, and gives us the flexibility to hide those pods when we want to. We also appreciate the speaker notes on the side as well as it is a way for the team to talk during the event.

Although our events are online, the production of all our online events happen in person so we're all in the same room. I think that makes a big difference for us, as we can talk and say things out loud so I'm not sure how Adobe Connect would function for us if we were not all in the same room.

We also like the breakout rooms functionality and how easy it is to distribute hosts/presenters in each room and guests randomly into all rooms.

Another big factor for us is customization. We are able to make our Adobe Connect room reflect our colors and university themes, and we believe that makes a difference in the customer experience.

The downside of using Adobe Connect is that most of our target audience (e.g., high school students) are not familiar with it. Our events still have high attendance so I don't believe it is an issue, but we are not sure if our events would be higher in number if we used another platform (e.g., Zoom). We don't have plans on switching platforms as we rely on the functions that Adobe Connect provide.
