"great for classroom training"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

We switched to adobe connect when COVID shut everything down and were able to conduct all of our classroom training with it. There are a lot of options to make the class more interactive and fun Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

Sometimes there is too much that you can do with adobe connect and it can be a little complicated. You really have to give yourself time to learn the system and what you can and can not do with it. Some things as simple as uploading a powerpoint can be time consuming if you don't understand how to do it properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

It was nice to be able and customize the room as the producer. There were many tools that we could use to engage our audience and keep the speaker aware of what the audience was thinking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

Not as customizable for the attendees. We also did not like having to use the application for our speakers. We work with many older, not tech-savvy speakers, and the platform was very difficult for them to manage as it wasn't like others that they have used. The application on the desktop looks like it was from the early 2000s, and it added another step to our process. We did not like the inability to verify attendance using codes or notices. We are an accrediting agency, and we need those to get our customers their credits. Overall, we ended up going with an entirely web-based delivery platform. This has made a HUGE difference in our customer satisfaction and experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for our small training courses!"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

I love having everything in one window, and having the attendees have the option to use the web browser or the app. It makes things good for our students who sometimes have security restrictions on their company computers. Love being able to have PPT decks and MP4 videos loaded directly into AC. Different layouts make our lives so much easier. We can easily set up different layouts with slide decks, videos, white boards, polls...everything we could ever need for a course. We don't have to worry about screen sharing or making sure our instructor pulls up the correct slides. Their support team, even though they may not always have a quick fix, is very responsive and friendly. They always find an answer, if not a solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

There are some bugs and glitches in it. A little bit of difficulty with screen sharing (which is why we shy away from it!), and conversion of certain PPT files goes a little wonky from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

The login process for me is the highlight of all the features that this product offers because first of all, it is quick and easy to use since it uses SAML-2.0 identity for authentication which is very common. The upside of this feature is that it saves the time required to log in and teach first-timers how to log in.

Its screen sharing feature does not allow me only to share my screen during meetings but also my other team members can share their screens which is very handy mostly in our organization online workshops for presentations and demonstrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

It is very expensive compared to products in its catergory and for the cheapest subscription plan it offers a small number limit of participants allowedf in meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

It works perfectly when you have ONLY lecture-based classes. Preferably with good bandwidth, good processors, and fast memory both in RAM and SSD. I love its aesthetics, it's impeccable. I love how the recorded classes are played with this system and the security that teachers have for that video material since it cannot be easily downloaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

It doesn't work well when there are more than 5 cameras in group work and the participants are in different geographical areas. In live listening or in the recording of workshop-type classes, there is a lag between the different videos that make up the system, and it is necessary to repeat scenes in the previous format, which sometimes works better (fortunately, it gives the option to play with the current system or the previous one). What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

Adobe Connect has presentation features like transitions and animations, which are important in communications.

Furthermore, Adobe Connect supports virtual events in the classroom, where training is done and knowledge acquired, it’s very easy to use and logon no issues with mainframe. It is possible to stream a presentation online. There is also the choice of video conferencing. There is no need to download something. On this platform, webinars are also very simple, and you can share your laptop in moments.

It also has a chat feature and the ability to record calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

Their closed caption pod has to be connected to an external service

Users joining via the web are less successful using all of the features.

Requires planning and design to have the best experience. (Bad for events on the fly)

The text is tiny. This is on the title of the share pods, and chat and attendee list. I imagine those with visual impairments might struggle. Difficult to record meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Class!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

Easy to use and download. With the most recent update, when in breakout rooms, the group members can have their cameras on to see their group members. I also like that if you have a question while in the breakout rooms, all you do is raise your hand and the hosts will see it and come into your room. I also like that breakout rooms are not recorded. What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

You have to be plugged into your router to use it. It doesn't work well over wifi or mobile devices, it's very laggy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

Adobe connect is used as a web conferencing software among companies and people for business communication. We are attending meetings from the comfort of your home and working more efficiently than ever before. We have been using adobe connect, and we don’t have to worry about anything. We can access the platform from our laptops, an internet connection and more or less that is all you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

Many people who are MAC users’ complain about its compatibility with browser however it works really well with all other PCs. Also, during meetings, there are also some complaints about mic troubleshooting. These are some technical problems which can surely be resolved eventually Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Connect doesn't support Apple platforms well"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Connect?

I love the capability to have an environment similar to the real classroom; breakout rooms, whiteboard, videos, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Connect?

With the new update, Apple users are left behind in the dust. We are stuck in flash, the application is not built, the login experience is poor, and there is no capability to share your screen anymore. For such a great platform and company, you would think that they could roll out a new version without months of issues that affect the classroom environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
