## Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) Reviews
  ### 1. Unmatched Customization and Scalability for Growing Businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manraj S. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I must say that Adobe Commerce is an exceptional tool because of not only its customization abilities but also its flexibility and scalability for my operations. It has helped me to manage my large portfolio of product catalogs.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

As such, there is no downside if Adobe Commerce. All I can think of is not having dedicated tech support, as one has to go through a learning curve.
I am dependent on my developer for all the customizations, which is sometimes very time taking.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to scale and personalize the customer experiences, because these two are the heart and soul of the e-commerce ecosystem. I can now manage and handle multiple stores and high product volumes with only one backend without hampering my performance.

  ### 2. Powerful B2B Platform with Robust Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I really like the Visual 'Time Machine' feature for content staging and preview in Adobe Commerce. It's a favorite for marketing teams because it allows scheduling sales launches without needing someone to be awake to hit 'publish.' The Business Intelligence Dashboards are also impressive; they offer a full-scale data experience rather than just providing reports. I also find the Adobe Developer App Builder to be a significant addition. It shifts customization to a serverless framework, making it easier to handle growth and maintenance in a clean, external process. It also eliminates the 'upgrade headache' by keeping custom code out of the core platform, safeguarding performance with an event-driven architecture, and speeding up time to market with starter kits.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

While Adobe Commerce is a powerhouse for enterprise-level operations, it definitely isn't without its 'heavy' parts. Even with the agility of tools like the App Builder, there are some significant hurdles that can make the platform feel a bit like steering a cruise ship—powerful, but not exactly nimble. The 'Hidden' Complexity of App Builder introduces a new kind of 'technical debt.' It requires a shift from PHP to a Node.js/JavaScript stack, which means hiring new talent or retraining entire teams. Additionally, debugging can be frustrating. Also, the monthly patch cycle creates a maintenance treadmill due to constant QA requirements. The platform feels 'over-engineered' for single-storefronts, leading to navigating around features we don't use. Lastly, the B2B checkout customization remains rigid, and customizing it often requires complex coding.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Commerce to simplify complex B2B operations, managing custom price books, quotes, and bulk orders. It handles the complexities of B2B transactions which are more intricate than standard retail, offering native tools for wholesale and efficient transaction management.

  ### 3. Enterprise Powerhouse with Customization Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kanu P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I like Adobe Commerce for its unparalleled flexibility in handling complex, high-scale enterprise needs. I appreciate its evolution into a composable, headless-driven ecosystem, which has made it even more adaptable and powerful over time. The platform's strength lies in its ability to manage extreme complexity while seamlessly integrating with the Adobe Experience Cloud. This makes it a robust solution for businesses needing to integrate various tools and software, especially for those requiring both B2B and B2C functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce is known for being complex and demanding. The initial setup is generally considered complex, time-consuming, and requires a high level of technical expertise. It's not an out-of-the-box solution for beginners but a robust platform that needs significant development skills.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce solves complex eCommerce challenges by offering a flexible, scalable platform that manages large product catalogs, high traffic, and complex business models from a single unified backend.

  ### 4. Scalable and Flexible, But Costly Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta . | Customer Relationship Management Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I really found the Content Scheduler to be a great tool, especially since it was easy to learn and work with, even as a Marketing Intern. It was useful for automating content changes, which improved team efficiency and reduced human errors, helping us maintain consistency across various teams and markets. I also appreciated how it supported collaboration by eliminating last-minute or overtime changes. Although I haven't used the App Builder personally, I've heard from developers that it's valuable for supporting our scalability and automation goals, particularly related to CRM. Additionally, I appreciate Adobe Commerce's flexibility and scalability which is crucial for our global company, helping us standardize approaches and scale capabilities across all teams and regions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The costs were a bit of an issue for us because we moved from a different platform that was cheaper. We didn't see a big growth in sales right after switching. Plus, the platform was complex, and the team had to be trained well, which took a long time. The initial setup was complex and hard to grasp, even though we got guided onboarding and some simplifications for Marketing. A clearer UX would be nicer.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce simplifies global operations, offering flexibility and scalability to standardize approaches and scale capabilities. The Content Scheduler automates content changes, reduces errors, and boosts collaboration. The App Builder supports scalability and automation, particularly with CRM integration.

  ### 5. Powerful B2B Functionality with High Costs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BRIJESH S. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I really appreciate the open and extensible platform that Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) offers, which is incredibly scalable and serves as a comprehensive solution for different business models. The B2B functionality is a standout feature for me, as it is well-structured, accommodating multiple buyers and approvers, and supports flexible payment options. These features have significantly contributed to improving the overall business workflow and experience. Moreover, the transition from Shopify Plus to Adobe Commerce was driven by a search for a better experience, and it has certainly delivered on that front.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I find the cost and maintenance of Adobe Commerce high, which I believe should be lower. The platform requires a significant level of experience to develop effectively, often necessitating a Magento certified developer. This results in a longer development time, which can be quite burdensome.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce offers an open, extensible, and scalable platform suitable for business model solutions. It provides well-structured B2B functionality with multiple buyers and approvers and flexible payment options, enhancing my business processes.

  ### 6. Extremely Flexible and Scalable but Demands Technical Expertise

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush N.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I use Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) as a complete end-to-end eCommerce solution, which is invaluable for building, managing, and scaling online stores. I love its unmatched flexibility that allows me to customize almost every part of the eCommerce experience while supporting the business's ability to grow and scale. Its flexibility has been instrumental in handling complex setups, region-based stores, and custom workflows, which other platforms could not support. The platform enables seamless integration of third-party extensions, automation of marketing workflows, optimization of SEO elements, and creation of personalized customer experiences—all from a single platform. Adobe Commerce is particularly beneficial for businesses with growing product catalogs or complex requirements, as it supports advanced product management, multi-store, and multi-language setups, robust SEO capabilities, scalable performance for high traffic, and deep customization through modules and APIs. I appreciate being able to create scalable, personalized, and automated eCommerce environments where marketing, operations, and user experience converge smoothly. Overall, Adobe Commerce stands out for helping me build a powerful and customized eCommerce environment.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I find that Adobe Commerce demands more development efforts, technical knowledge, and higher investment to achieve the desired results. It requires strong knowledge of PHP, Magento modular architecture, front-end theming, server optimization, and API integrations. The initial setup was particularly challenging because it required technical expertise in hosting and server configuration. There is also a need for considerable development efforts in checkout customization, theme changes, extensions, and upgrades. Additionally, the setup costs and ongoing maintenance can be high, which might not suit smaller teams or beginners.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Commerce to create scalable, customizable eCommerce environments, handling everything from product management to integrations. It supports complex setups, region-based stores, and custom workflows, making it invaluable for businesses with growing catalogs and high traffic needs.

  ### 7. Powerful, Customizable Platform That Scales with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Commerce is the platform that provides true power to the user over an online store. It appears to be very simple to customize the layouts and product pages and one can easily change things without the site being damaged. Discount rules and product recommendations as marketing features are a great idea and they really lead to an increase in conversions.

The platform is very fast and efficient even with thousands of SKUs, which is very important for us. A few payment and shipping integrations are not very easy, but that is what gives a lot of manual work which is saved now. As long as extensions and plugins are allowed, there are almost no limits to what you can imagine so there is no problem with adding new features.

The admin panel makes it easy and clear to manage orders and stock and everything is at the same time. In summary, the platform is like a vessel that is big enough for our business to grow and at the same time, it allows us to keep the operations at a manageable ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌level.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ arrangement might be complicated if you lack technical knowledge. Both hosting and performance should be handled with care, otherwise, the pages will load slowly during the spikes in the traffic. If you are not careful, changing the platform can ruin the customizations. A few reporting features seem to be lacking, and you have to get additional modules for advanced analytics. Admin interfaces have lots of features, but new team members can be a little bit overwhelmed with them at the beginning. Managing multiple stores needs some additional work and planning. There are still certain tasks for which you need developer support, even though the platform is mostly user-friendly. It is, however, quite dependable and powerful once it has been set up ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌properly.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ management of various aspects of the store was spread out over different systems, which led to delays and mistakes. Adobe Commerce brings together product, order, and customer data, so there are no more hiccups in the flow of work. It is very easy to apply promotions and upsells, which in turn helps the revenue. Understanding customers’ behavior and purchase history gives the business valuable insights. Activities that were done manually and took several hours are now automated. As the business expands, the platform will continue to be able to accommodate the growth without the need for a complete overhaul. Making decisions is facilitated by reporting and dashboards and they are quicker and more informed. In essence, it is time-saving, error-reducing, and structured growth of the business is ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌helped.

  ### 8. Highly Customizable and Powerful, But Setup Can Be Complex

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Development Engineer in Test III, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

What I appreciate most is how customizable everything is. From the storefront and checkout process to the product pages, nearly every aspect can be adjusted to suit your preferences. The extensive library of extensions and add-ons means that whenever I need a new feature or integration, I can usually find something suitable. It’s especially effective for managing large inventories and numerous product variations, and I find its flexibility with promotions and discounts to be a major advantage. Once you become familiar with the system, it feels very powerful, and having the ability to fine-tune the details allows me to keep everything operating just the way I want.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Honestly, at times it feels a bit too complicated, and there’s definitely a learning curve. Setting everything up, especially when you want custom features, can be slow, and I’ve found myself spending a lot of time troubleshooting minor issues. The admin interface isn’t always very intuitive, and performance can suffer if you don’t optimize or if you add too many extensions. Keeping everything updated and making sure it all stays compatible can be a hassle, and while support is helpful, it could be quicker. Overall, once it’s up and running, it works well, but I really wish it were easier to manage on a daily basis.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform allows me to manage every aspect of my online sales in one place, so I no longer need to switch between different tools for handling products, orders, payments, and inventory. With all these features integrated, I save time and can keep everything organized, even when our product catalog grows large. It’s also much simpler to customize how we display products and set up promotions, which helps our store stand out and gives us the flexibility to experiment with new marketing ideas. The reporting tools are especially useful for tracking sales and identifying trends, enabling me to make more informed decisions. Overall, it makes running the shop more efficient and helps me respond quickly when things change.

  ### 9. Flexible and Powerful, But Complex Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit T.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I love Adobe Commerce for its incredible flexibility. It allows me to customize almost everything to meet the specific needs of my online store without compromising performance. Managing a large catalog is a breeze, and I appreciate that the platform remains stable even during high traffic surges. The built-in features reduce the need for third-party tools, which streamlines operations and saves time. I find extensions and themes to be particularly valuable, as they enable me to enhance the store's features and aesthetics without extensive coding, making integration smooth and trouble-free. The ability to add features like improved search, shipping, and marketing tools quickly and effortlessly enriches the platform's usefulness in daily operations. I also appreciate how well Adobe Commerce integrates with other tools such as payment gateways and email marketing platforms, which simplifies managing my store.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce sometimes feels heavy and complicated. Some features require extra steps, and significant updates can be slow or cause compatibility issues with extensions, necessitating time-consuming fixes. The interface can be challenging, and smooth performance often requires extensive server tuning. The initial setup isn't easy and demands technical expertise, occasionally needing developer assistance.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Commerce for managing a detailed ecommerce store, simplifying catalog management and stability during high traffic. It allows deep customization and integrates well with extensions, reducing manual work and saving time in daily operations.

  ### 10. Unlimited Customization with Seamless Scalability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshat S. | Strategy and Distribution Development

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I love how Adobe Commerce gives me unlimited control over my online store fronts, checkout processes, and product types, differentiating it from platforms like Shopify, where restrictions can be more pronounced. The fact that its user interface is not confined by templates truly allows me to provide a unique and enriching experience to customers, thereby elevating their overall experience and effectively driving conversions without requiring extensive development work. Running my retail handcraft store, CraftwithNeetu, I find the ability to create rich, detailed product pages to be incredibly valuable, especially for customers interested in handicrafts who look for visual clarity and storyteller's descriptions. Adobe Commerce's features such as high-resolution image handling, multifaceted craftsmen descriptions, and story sections about materials and artisans significantly enrich the customer experience. Furthermore, its robust checkout options, including one-page checkout, multiple payment methods, guest checkout, and auto-filled details, enhance customer convenience and contribute to a higher conversion rate. These elements combined make Adobe Commerce not only user-friendly but also a powerful tool for fostering business growth. While the initial setup is more involved compared to more plug-and-play platforms like WooCommerce, the customization and scalability it affords my business are absolutely worth the investment.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The initial setup of Adobe Commerce was not as simple as plug-and-play platforms like WooCommerce, indicating a steeper learning curve or complexity in getting started.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce gives me control over design and features with limited restrictions, enhancing customer experience with rich product pages and a seamless checkout process, important for my handicraft store's success.

  ### 11. Unmatched Flexibility and Power for Enterprise E-Commerce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya P. | Senior Manager - Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce excels as a powerful, enterprise-grade platform best suited for large and rapidly scaling businesses, especially those with complex B2B needs. Its greatest strength lies in its unparalleled flexibility and scalability, providing deep customization options and the robust architecture necessary to handle large catalogs and high transaction volumes. Furthermore, its native B2B tools—including company accounts, custom pricing, and quoting—are market leaders, and the seamless integration with the broader Adobe Experience Cloud offers advanced AI-driven personalization and content management capabilities, making it a comprehensive solution for sophisticated digital experiences.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The main dislikes of Adobe Commerce center on its high total cost of ownership (TCO) and inherent complexity. The platform requires significant investment, not just in substantial annual licensing fees, but also in specialized, expensive development resources for both initial setup and ongoing maintenance, making it cost-prohibitive for smaller businesses. Furthermore, its complex architecture leads to a steep technical learning curve and a much longer time-to-market compared to more streamlined SaaS alternatives, which can delay deployment and increase reliance on external experts

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user interacting with a store built on Adobe Commerce, what I appreciate most is the feeling of effortless, customized efficiency, especially when dealing with a large brand or B2B buying. When I search for a product, the Adobe Sensei-powered search finds exactly what I need instantly, making the site feel smart and intuitive. If I am a regular customer, the site feels like it remembers me, thanks to seamless personalization and integrations with Adobe Analytics, showing me relevant products and promotions right away. Crucially, as a B2B buyer, I love the way the platform handles my complexity: I log in and immediately see my custom contract pricing and exclusive catalogs, and the process of requesting a quote or submitting a large Purchase Order is surprisingly fast and error-free. Ultimately, I benefit from a reliable, high-performance experience that makes buying complicated or high-volume goods simple.

  ### 12. Unmatched Flexibility and Scalability for Enterprise E-Commerce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad A. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

What stands out most is its unparalleled flexibility and scalability. Because of its open-source foundation (Magento Open Source), developers have deep granular control to customize literally every aspect of the platform, from the frontend user experience to complex backend business logic and integrations. This allows businesses to build truly unique and tailored shopping experiences that other platforms can't support. Its robust architecture is built to scale, capable of managing massive product catalogs (hundreds of thousands of SKUs) and handling high-volume enterprise-level traffic. The rich, out-of-the-box feature set, especially for B2B (like customer-specific pricing, quote management, and company accounts), is far more comprehensive than most competitors, providing a solid foundation for complex operations.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The primary drawback is its significant complexity and high total cost of ownership (TCO). This is not a platform for small businesses or teams without dedicated technical support. It has a very steep learning curve and requires specialized, and often expensive, Adobe Commerce developers to manage, customize, and maintain. Beyond the high licensing fees for the Commerce edition, the platform is resource-intensive, demanding robust and costly hosting environments to run efficiently. Simple updates or even minor customizations can be time-consuming and technically challenging, leading to high ongoing maintenance costs and a slower time-to-market for new features compared to simpler SaaS platforms.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What stands out most is its unparalleled flexibility and scalability. Because of its open-source foundation (Magento Open Source), developers have deep granular control to customize literally every aspect of the platform, from the frontend user experience to complex backend business logic and integrations. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is its flexibility, as it allows customization of nearly every part of the store to meet specific business needs. Adobe Commerce excels in delivering flawless service for B2B requirements like custom pricing, customer groups, bulk ordering, and maintaining separate catalogs. Additionally, its ability to manage multiple storefronts smoothly from a single admin portal is invaluable. In terms of performance, scalability, and security, Adobe Commerce impressively supports enterprise-level projects by effectively handling large catalogs and high traffic once optimized. Overall, it is a stable, customizable, and scalable ecommerce solution for businesses aiming for long-term growth.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The platform is complex for beginners and requires skilled development, which can be a hurdle for those without the necessary technical expertise.

I use Adobe Commerce to manage B2B clients, handle multiple stores, and maintain large product catalogs. It allows for custom workflows and pricing, ensuring long-term scalability and impressive security features.

I love how flexible and customizable Adobe Commerce is, allowing me to tailor almost every part of my online store, from design to checkout, to fit my exact needs. I greatly appreciate its power and scalability, which support advanced features without limiting my business growth. The platform supports all essential e-commerce features, like managing products, orders, inventory, customer accounts, payments, and promotions, and helps centralize and streamline my entire e-commerce workflow. It proficiently handles large product catalogs and orders, keeps inventory updated, and ensures a smooth checkout experience. Automation of tasks like promotions, reports, and customer management saves me a lot of time and effort, keeping the store running smoothly. I also value its ability to integrate with other tools, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools, and marketing extensions, further enhancing the overall shopping experience.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Some areas that could be improved are the complexity and maintenance requirements. Adobe Commerce can feel heavy, and setting up or customizing certain features often needs technical skills. It would be helpful if the platform were easier to configure and required fewer developer resources. The initial setup wasn’t very easy. It required some technical knowledge and developer support. Once everything was configured properly, it became smooth, but the starting setup definitely needed expertise.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Commerce to centralize and streamline my e-commerce workflow, manage products, orders, inventory efficiently, and automate tasks like promotions and reports, saving time and offering a smooth checkout experience.

  ### 16. A Highly flexible enterprise e-commerce platform that demands investment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket D. | Graphic Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I've been working with adobe commerce to power our multi brand online store network, and I've found several things that stand out:-
1. The level of customization is remarkable, I can tweak almost every part of store front, checkout flows, product attributed and back-office workflows.
2.It scales extremely well for large catalogs, multiple storefronts, and international markets. We moved from 10,000 AKUs to over 250,000 with minimal friction.
3. Integration capabilities are strong. We hooked into our ERP, CRM, marketing automation and custom logistics system.
4. From Digital marketing angle, Adobe commerce gives great SEO control, layout freedom, and ability to build tailored experiences rather than being limited by rigid systems.
5.The ability to run multiple stores under one instance, with different languages, currencies, pricing has been a massive time saver for our operations.
6. Setting it up wasn't plug and play. But once the initial configuration was done managing it became straightforward.
7. Whenever we faced any deployment or integration issues, the customer support guided us clearly.
8. We used adobe commerce every single day, from managing orders and updating inventory to running marketing campaigns and checking analytics.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Because of this flexibility and power the learning curve is steep. It took our team weeks to get fully comfortable. It requires significant technical resources for implementing, hosting, performance tuning and maintenance... not ideas for smaller teams without dev support. The cost is high.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily used adobe commerce for a multi-brand retail business operating across Europe and Asia. We manage several storefronts (each with unique language , currency, promotions) from one backend. Product catalog updates, global inventory sync, custom shipping/fulfillment logic... It all runs through this platform. Because everything is integrated (ER, Commerce, CRM, Analytics), changed in one place reflect across the system smoothly.

  ### 17. Robust, Scalable eCommerce Solution—Steep Learning Curve for New Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mansoor K. | Business Analyst II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce is a flexible scalable platform, which can take heavy loads and customisations, adhering the industrial standards performance and compliance integrated with the platform. The platform offers a complete solution who are looking for end to end eCommerce flow, be it curation of product, setting up infra to marketing and adding up payment platforms by adhering to industrial compliance.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

New user needs to use the platform to get used to, is not very intuitive. At least a Business practitioner certificate will help the user to understand all the modules and settings.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I set up the platforms for the clients who doesn't know how to deal with Adobe Commerce, make the platform work and behave as per the clients requirements.

  ### 18. Adobe commerce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It's highly customizable. I love that you can easily create multiple stores and manage it all differently. it's also fast to set up new stores and have that configured differently

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It’s not easy to troubleshoot if you’re not a developer. There are a lot of settings, and they aren’t always easy to find or understand. There’s also no basic training to help non-developers learn how to use the program.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we currently have multiple stores selling in all different ways based on the brand needs. It helps that they are all in the same platform and we can manage the product for each stores separately.

  ### 19. Flexible Enterprise Platform, But Not Plug-and-Play

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce is one of the most flexible eCommerce platforms we’ve used. The biggest upside is how far you can take it with custom catalogue logic, pricing/promotions, multi-store setups, and integrations (ERP/OMS/PIM/CRM) without hitting hard platform limits. The ecosystem is strong (extensions, agencies, community), and it’s a good fit when you need enterprise-grade control over checkout, merchandising rules, and complex product structures. For teams that need a highly customisable storefront and workflows, it’s a powerful foundation.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

The trade-off for that flexibility is higher complexity and total cost of ownership. Implementations and upgrades can be heavy, and you typically need experienced Magento developers (plus solid DevOps) to keep performance, stability, and security in a good place. Some third-party extensions vary in quality and can introduce maintenance issues later. The admin experience can feel busy for non-technical users, and tuning caching/indexing/search is often required to achieve great performance—especially at larger catalogue sizes or with complex rules.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Adobe Commerce to run and manage our main eCommerce storefront with a complex catalogue, pricing/promotions, and operational integrations. It helps centralise product and storefront management, supports advanced business rules (discounting, segmentation, shipping/payment logic), and gives us the freedom to build custom workflows where needed. The benefit is that we can scale the store and adapt quickly to new requirements (new product types, new storefronts/regions, new integrations) without replatforming, while keeping strong control over UX and conversion-critical flows.

  ### 20. Powerful Customization and Global Reach, But High Costs and Complexity

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aananda J. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

This platform assists businesses in building and managing their online stores by providing tools to create personalized, global storefronts. It also supports scaling operations and enables the integration of marketing and commerce activities.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Dislikes about Adobe Commerce include high cost, steep learning curve, and performance issues like slow loading times. Users also report challenges with complex customization, heavy maintenance requirements, and the need for significant developer expertise, which drives up costs and complexity for both setup and ongoing updates.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce solves problems related to e-commerce performance, content management, and customization. It addresses issues like slow site speeds and crashes, inefficient content workflows, and the difficulty of scaling or personalizing a site. By offering features like cloud-native architecture and AI-powered tools, it helps businesses streamline operations and improve the customer experience.

  ### 21. Empowers E-commerce with Ease, Needs Faster Speed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) is a great platform for making an online e-commerce site easily and without needing to hire anyone. I like the ease of using the website, which simplifies starting a business. The website design and animations are really great, making the experience pleasant. Additionally, the admin reports and analysis function really helps a lot in managing my activities.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I think the time it takes to load the interface and homepage is a downside. The speed should be increased. Also, the initial setup was a little complex at first, but it got easier over time.

Adobe Commerce makes it easy to create an online e-commerce platform without hiring anyone. The admin reports and analysis help a lot.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raza R. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Firstly what love the most about the Adobe commerce is its customizability. and then I would say the extensive integration flexibility it offers is great.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

I would say the cost, as it’s pretty expensive. Secondly I would say it’s very technical, so need to have a developer to rely on which is again adding to my costs.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s actually supporting us much on catalogs and pricing rules, because we got some complex catalogs and always have issues with the pricing in past and secondly as said integration flexibility is helping us a lot. We got sorted connecting our crm/analytics relatively quickly.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

It is powerful, but maintenance and setup can be heavy. The platform can sometime feel very complex. Custom changes or small changes need technical help, which slow down things. Learning curve is also steep.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe commerce helps streamline client e-commerce operations by centralizing product management, improving site performance, and reducing manual efforts. With adobe clients get a more integrated and flexible platform that supports better conversion and smooth operation.

  ### 26. Robust and Scalable Commerce Platform for Enterprise Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce offers exceptional flexibility and scalability, making it ideal for mid to large enterprises. The modular architecture allows for custom development, while the extensive API support enables seamless third-party integrations. The admin panel is intuitive, and the built-in B2B features save a lot of development effort. With Adobe’s cloud infrastructure and security, performance and uptime are consistently reliable. The ecosystem of extensions and the support from the community are also major advantages.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Adobe Commerce has a steep learning curve, especially for new developers. Setting up and maintaining the platform can be complex without experienced resources. The licensing and infrastructure costs are relatively high compared to open-source or SaaS alternatives, which may not be ideal for small businesses. Additionally, frequent updates sometimes require heavy regression testing, which can increase development time and cost.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Commerce helps solve the challenge of managing complex eCommerce operations across multiple stores, languages, and currencies. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

, Adobe Commerce Optimizer.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?**

Magento has always required strong technical expertise, and Adobe Commerce continues that trend—even more so with the new headless tools (GraphQL, App Builder, Edge Delivery). Native Features Still Require Extensions. Performance Bottlenecks (Without Tuning), Internationalization Weaknesses.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

B2B features.
Business intelligence dashboards.
Marketing tools.
Content management.
Customer loyalty tools

The thing I most like about this framework is that we can customise it's checkout section based on our need, not many framework allow this much customisation on checkout.

As Adobe Commerce is a powerful framework, it requires adequate knowledge to understand its features, which might be bothersome for new developers.

**What problems is Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) solving and how is that benefiting you?**
