Clunky user interface, quite slow and leads to a lot of crashes. It doesn't have a lot of features, so I'd almost always recommend Adobe Lightroom, which has the same basic features but allows you to do a lot of editing right in the software. I love the fact that Bridge allows one to quickly sort through a large number of photos and cull/rate them. It is great at this, and I can see how it can be a real time-saver. Here's where I feel like a minority: I've never liked using Bridge. It's always felt a little too laggy for my use. I currently use Lightroom for previewing, sorting, rating and culling images and I feel like it does that so much faster than Bridge. Bridge seems to get sluggish when displaying a folder of images, and it has always been that way for me; I usually keep up with Apple computers and have a rather high-end iMac, which handles 4k video remarkably well, yet Bridge seems to slow down the machine. Bridge allows for great image processing especially in large batch quantities, however I feel some what similarly about Bridge as I do about a number of other Adobe programs. Recommendations to others considering Adobe Bridge: Don't believe I have enough experience to recommend anything of much use about Bridge. Have a tough time believing I actually even have enough experience to offer an opinion. While I've used it fairly extensively over the last 4 / 5 years, I really haven't done a wide array of processes within. It would probably be near impossible to get anywhere near the amount of work done without Bridge, however I still stand behind the idea that a number of smaller lightweight processing apps that each perform different tasks might be more effective. I use Adobe Bridge for one thing - digital contact sheets. As a creative, it's a nice program to organize visual assets and create contact sheets you can use as a reference to explain your ideas. Unfortunately, to make contact sheets in Adobe Bridge CC you must download an add-on for the program because their contract sheet option is no longer available like past Adobe Bridge programs. I've only ever sincerely used Bridge to help streamline working with Photoshop files. I was able to easily organize images I was working with easily, sort them a variety of ways, and export them into a photoshop file with each image as separate layers. Recommendations to others considering Adobe Bridge: The only true benefit I found when working with Bridge was the ability to easily import into Photoshop.
