## Adobe Audition Reviews
 ### 1. Adobe Audition is Great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The application is extremely easy to use and affordable as part of Adobe's Creative Suite. It is great for editing sounds, mixing tracks and removing noise. It surpasses industry standards.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I wish it were compatible with other digital audio workspaces like Cakewalk, Pro-Tools, and Garage Band. Of course, there are several ways to bypass this technical issue.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved several issues for me. I produce podcasts and audiobooks that may not always be recorded under optimal conditions. I often have to use noise reduction to clean the recording of unwanted noises. It does a great job.

 ### 2. An excellent program for all your audio related needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noam T. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like its extensive options when it comes to fixing badly recorded audio. It really makes a huge difference both when you do it manyally and with the many helpful presets built in to the program.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The one thing I dislike is that it's a little hard to get used to some of its functions and usabillity doesn't quite come naturally, even if you're coming off of other Adobe programs.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me it's very effective when it comes to recording audio, fixing audio, and adding audio effects when needed

 ### 3. Unleashing the Power of Audio Editing with Adobe Audition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshul S. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe audition has the best feature of removing particular frequencies which I cannot achieve in any other software, So, when I am editing audios, if I have to remove a particular sound of frequencies, I can do that in Audition easily

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It is just an audio software, I have to record a video and extract that audio in premiere pro to use in audition which I hate the most, I wish they can improve that

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If a client says to remove a particular pop and click sound in the audio, I can use the tools in audition pretty easily to do that which solves my problem very easily

 ### 4. Great audio editing/composition tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean F. | Creative Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I love how it seamlessly integrates with the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite of tools, and offers all the necessary options of composing music and/or editing audio for video production.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

A little of a steep learning curve, but once you get familiar with differences between editing single waveforms or multitracks... and how some of the tools work, it's a great piece of software.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we need more advanced tools to edit Voice Overs and other audio/music clips for our video production that Premiere or After Effects can't handle, we turn to Adobe Audition.

 ### 5. Great audio features... if you have the time, patience and ear to learn them

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean O. | Web Content Manager & Social Media Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

So many amazing features are built-in with plenty of options and granular controls. There are a variety of great plugins available. Most importantly, it integrates seamlessly with the rest of the Adobe suite.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Like most Adobe products, it can be overly complicated to perform simple processes. Sometimes there are too many things to tweak or adjust to get exactly what you want.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a robust multi-track audio editing solution that can integrate with our video editing software. Adobe Audition meets both of my needs and allows for a simplified editing workflow.

 ### 6. User-friendly and Great quality!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Macie M. | Content Marketing Coordinator at CCA Global Partners, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like that there are a ton of great features to enhance the quality of your audio. Like noise reduction, one where you can balance all of the audio levels to be the same volume, and one where you can add bass to someone's voice. Those are my favorite.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I feel like it can be a little tricky to get used to at first. I have to constantly look up YouTube tutorials to discover all of the possible features I can use, but other than that it's great.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to edit my podcast flawlessly with Adobe Audition. I take separate audio tracks and edit each one to enhance their quality using the software.

 ### 7. Amazing Studio Audio Editing App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay C. | Director, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition is a feature-rich application that has everything you will need in one place. It is great for adding multiple sound tracks together to create engaging ads.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition has a steep learning curve, after downloading the app it will take you a good few months to get the hang of it and to be able to use some of the best features they have to offer.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business was looking for an app that we could use to edit audio for our ads. Adobe Audition does this perfectly, it has everything we would ever need all in one place which saves us a lot of time.

 ### 8. Overlooked and Underutilized part of Creative Suite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Pastor for Creative Arts, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition has templates and plugins that are well-suited for podcasting and live, spoken recordings. This helps streamline our workflow, even when we aren't using Premier Pro for video, as the templates simplify the process of laying out podcast elements.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There was a learning curve for Audition as it moves certain features to different places than Logic or ProTools, and this took some time to adjust to. It also is a little weak on the mastering side, finishing up music for the final touch.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Audition helped us make our podcast editing a much quicker and smoother process. It is our go-to platform for podcasting or spoken word audio as it excels in volume leveling, EQ for voices, and templates for workflow.

 ### 9. The best DAW system that a Sound Engineer doesn't use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikhail Niño Toñacao A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like that Adobe has an extensive range of plugins and libraries that can collaborate quickly on Adobe Audition, especially when working on Adobe Premier projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It's convenient, especially when working on an Adobe Premier project. The downside is it is not the most commonly used format in the market, so importing/exporting files is a problem.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not encountered massive problems with using Adobe Audition. The only downside that I encounter is that most of the projects that I edit use ProTools, Sonar and Abelton. That's on a multi-track recording project. I normally use Adobe Audition as a quick audio edit when editing videos using Premier Pro

 ### 10. It is easy to use but it could be smarter.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandani P. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Multitrack editing and Adobe Audition offers a wide range of audio effects, including EQ, compression, reverb, and delay, which can be used to enhance and modify audio files.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Limited functionality for non-audio editing tasks plus While Adobe Audition can import and export a wide variety of audio file formats, it may not be compatible with some older or more obscure file types.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audio processing, podcasting and music production.

 ### 11. Versatile and Scalable Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack C. | Production manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

It can relatively easily be used for simple editing of voice recordings or to make complex audio files with multiple tracks, background music, and sound effects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There is a somewhat steep learning curve, and it is a bit unintuitive if you are coming from another audio editing system like Logic Pro or Audacity. It can be confusing linking file formats and knowing if you are editing the track or the native files.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed something more robust, coming from Audacity. I needed a way to mix multiple tracks of audio dialogue, add background music, and optimize and modify individual tracks. I also needed to clean up audio, remove static, hums, and buzzes.

 ### 12. Great Software, needs better UI

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niaz M. | Audio Video Technician, Video Editor and Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition works great with noisy audio where you need to reduce background noise, reverb, rumble etc. It also has a ton of other features, but it still needs time to get around them as it is confusing to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The downsides of Audition are the confusing user interface and the lack of structure in categorizing the features. I want a version with better UX and more suited for live podcast recording to minimize other software use.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Noise reduction. As my podcast setup is not so great, I use this software to improve the audio experience for the listeners. It certainly helped improve the quality of my work.

 ### 13. Full featured app for dialogue and sound mixing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | D, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Good integration with Premiere, is quite flexible, and has good compatibility with many plug-ins.

The spectral view is very helpful in finding and repairing problems.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The lack of midi support is a drawback for some types of work.

The cost is high since an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is required.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating soundtracks in Premiere is possible, but Audition is far more full-features, and I find it easier to use for audio.

 ### 14. One of the Best Audio Editing | Mastering Software from Adobe

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saviour E. | Transcriptionist, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

For starters, it is easy to learn, use and deploy across teams. If you were switching from another audio editing software, you would seamlessly get onboard its functions and tools way too easier.
Having to work with the multi-track feature is such a great deal. This makes recording and adding pre-recording effects (such as noise gates and cancellation, EQs, and all using the effects rack).
It also incorporates 3rd party plugin -this feature also helps tweaking and flexibility if you don't want to work with the stock preset settings.
I began using Audition in 2019 and it has never been better.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I liked how during emergent shutdowns of my PC whenever I reopened Audition, I would always find a backup recovery option. However, I once had an issue and lost all my multitrack files when my Audition crashed. it was due to an exception bug or so, it was annoying. however, it got resolved on subsequent updates and versions.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording, Mixing, and mastering, making quality sounds available for transmission. Its easier to work by integrating it with other Adobe products like Premier Pro for Sound and video production. it cuts short the time which you spend on separate software. Now I can work in a straight sequence in a short period. This is good for business

 ### 15. I have a great experience with adobe audition.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alejah sharmae p. | Script Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

For me adobe audition is the most helpful app because most of my needs in editing audio is already there. Not just most, I think everything I need as a podcast audio editor is already there. Kuddos to its creator(s).

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I dont think there's any downside in using adobe audition.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It clears up noises from the background of the audio. It has fade in and fade out that makes the audio sound natural even if it's already cut. That's only a basic role of adobe audition what more about the advance tool in it, right?

 ### 16. Complete Audio Editing Studio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman V. | Marekeying, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I really like the sound editing tools for fixing complicated audio problems. The spectral frequency display is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I don't have any complaints about Adobe Audition.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mostly use Adobe Audition to repair complex audio problems. I also like recording audio voiceovers with the program.

 ### 17. Best sound editing software till date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sameer D. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Really easy to use and user friendly.goes perfect with premier pro. Easy trimming on audio and getting a clean perfect sounds for video .Advance tech on removing background noice and disturbance

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Using it for 2 years .Till today no cons .and it perfect for audio trim and edit.
Would love to get the mode to change voice if possible like changing voice to celebrity's.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audition really help on removing background noise and sound for clear audio for video to use.Viewers are getting clear audio on video .

 ### 18. Very user friendly with multiple options to manipulate sound settings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Tayyab H. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The noise reduction options with the ability to enhance the clarity of sound were the best thing I personally experienced. Another notable option is its friendly UI.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The only thing that gets annoying sometimes is a lot of options for a specific action and I get stuck sometimes with the numerical values.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enhanced voiceovers and also made a few remixes of songs using Audition.
Some valuable mentions are:
1. Noise reduction
2. Echo
3. Amplify the option
4. Broadcast option

 ### 19. Sound editing made Super Easy with Adobe Audition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saket P. | Product Management Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Just to start with Adobe Audition has already become Industry Standard because of its high control over every millisecond of sound produced. The interface is quite similar to other adobe software which makes it easy to learn. Its integration with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Aftereffects is also quite good as we only need to do the changes in the file in Adobe Audition and the same gets reflected in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After effects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Nothing much to say on the disliking part, although it's a bit heavy software cause most of the time we have to use it alongside a video editing software usually Adobe Premiere Pro, so reducing the ram consumption will help most of its users. and the second point is the price point at which we get the software is too high, for college students it's almost next to impossible to have a subscription to both Adobe Premiere and Audition.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Adobe Audition to edit videos for my youtube channel and create hassle-free videos for promotion purposes. The best benefit soo far is its incredible control over every single minute detail of sound, whether it be pitch, frequency, or loudness.

 ### 20. Intuitive but a little clunky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared I. | Film Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like the way Audition is organized and how the layout is presented. The interface responds nicely and editing is relatively easy. The labeling and color coding of tracks is nice.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I feel that Audition does not utilize the CPU and RAM as best as it could. When I build out large projects playback gets a little sketchy and doesn't always work. I often need to pre-render tracks to get playback to work.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audition is included in the creative cloud all apps subscription and is just easy to open and start using. I really like the fact I can add plugins, (should be a standard feature regardless). It makes doing proper sound mixes for video projects a lot easier.

 ### 21. Super Fantastic experience With Adobe Audition.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ihsan U. | Digital Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Removing noise from the background by using adobe audition or making the quality of voice for postcards etc is really amazing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It doesn't provide extentions to use inside premiere pro.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

voice bg noise.
making better quality voice and recording.

 ### 22. Adobe Audition - Most versatile and powerful tool to improve the audio quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like the Adobe Audition strip silence feature. I can strip silence from inactive regions in my recorded clips, without losing sync in multitrack audio, perfect for fast cleanup for advertisement videos, podcasts, and other multitrack recordings. Strong audio-restoration, sound-removal, and noise-reduction tools are some good points that made me keep using this Adobe software.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The software lacks MIDI support and is only available via an expensive monthly subscription. Beginners will find it challenging to use as its interface is not beginners friendly. Indeed it is the best tool to improve the quality of audio but it is not the right choice for music production.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Adobe audition to improve the audio quality of videos to post on the Khatabook youtube channel and their social media platform. Adobe audition solved my problem of uneven volume level, hiss sound, and errant bump.

 ### 23. Review for Adobe Audition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheena Justine N. | Multimedia Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

It is the best software to be used in editing audio.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

so far, I didn't have anything I dislike about Adobe Audition.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To produce a clean and better quality of audio or sound

 ### 24. revolutionary audio tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu A. | senior 3d character artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The tool reduces the noise precisely and provides an immaculate output, with the editing of the frequencies to make the audio more subtle and outstanding to work on.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The audio recording is not that responsive, a slight delay I felt whine recording and edit the same for my video, and the integration to lacks sometimes
It is quite annoying.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes while recording my videos, the audio has too much noise. In this case, adobe audition helps remove the distracting noise and supports my work to be smooth and precise.

 ### 25. GREAT WORK FLOW

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed N. | Imaging Director / Programming Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Great if you're trying to restore audio with their sound removal & noise reduction.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

No MIDI support. As a producer I would like a one stop shop but because of this I don't have it but it's not a deal breaker.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for radio broadcast & also for podcast. Audition adheres to broadcast standards for audio.

 ### 26. Simple and quick for somebody who knows nothing about sound design and mixing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amr E. | A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

the remix feature is just a life saviour, as somebody who knows so little about sound mixing and design, using this feature helped me adapt longer music tracks to shorter mixes to fit my short videos better

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It is very hard to adjust pitches there and gets super confusing. for ex: getting a high pitch on a male voice to make it more female is super tricky and super hard and I was never successful in doing so

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps creative agencies mix sound design when they are dealing with low-budget briefs, since we have no budget to hire a supplier, it is easy to do those things in-house.

 ### 27. Perfect, fully professional recordings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raul P. | Diseñador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

It is a very dynamic software that allows you to centralize all parts of my studio. It features an excellent processor and graphic equalizer, in addition to allowing multi-track recording, which is essential for your studio.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I would include a tuner directly on the track without the need for additional plugins. It would be practical if it could work with MIDI and incorporate tools for it, as I find it difficult to load VSTs.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it both for small locutions and for large multi-instrumental productions. Both for recording and for mixing and post-production.

 ### 28. #1 tool for editing audio

Not a fan of the subscription packages adobe has audition included in, should be included in the creative package.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me clean up the audio from any source.

 ### 32. Powerful software for Audio editing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monali T. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I use this software for editing audios which are further added to youtube videos to avoid any copyright claims. We also use these audios while putting Instagram stories and setting custom notification alerts using these audio tracks. I like the User interface and the features that help us reduce unwanted background noise, recover parts of the audio and increase the stability of the audio track. It gives us the flexibility to export the audio in the desired format from different formats available. Another amazing feature is that Adobe Audition works well with Premiere Pro, this lets me directly import my audio track from the timeline and export it after working on it.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

While creating music for youtube videos and other posts, I find it lacking in MIDI devices and other music-specific tools. Apart from this, I am happy and satiated with the services it offers.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

If you are fond of Adobe software and use many of them then Adobe Audition would be a fruitful addition to your Adobe stack as it’s an excellent choice for audio editing and removing white noise from audio tracks.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Audition is the must-have software for audio editing as it supports the import and export of multiple formats of audio tracks, making it super versatile and use-worthy for any audio scenario. It also helps me fix corrupted audio files and remove minor errors or background disturbances from audio tracks.

 ### 33. The Best Platform to Record the Audio and Editing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esha Y. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I really like that I can add both types of audio tracks including mono and stereo. We can apply professional editing effects like Delay, Echo, Modulation, Noise Reduction, Reverb, and more.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I am honestly speaking that I edit my own songs on a professional level without any technical issues. Therefore if you ask me to mention any negative points, so my feedback is that Adobe Audition is without negative points and cons.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

Sure, I will recommend Adobe Audition to all other users, so they can edit their audios and sounds with full control.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned I record and prepare my own songs in Adobe Audition. Even when I edit my videos, I also edit the sound and audio of my videos using Adobe Audition.

 ### 34. Perfect for audio editing and production

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I like the multitrack mixing and the noise reduction process. Finding a noise print and removing it is so simple.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Really, I don't see many problems. My main dislike is the subscription model with Adobe CC. But audition itself is the best for audio editing.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to edit VO tracks for my elearning courses I build.

 ### 35. Really excellent audio editor, with some useful batch features including Matching Loudness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The feature that I like and use the most in Adobe Audition, is the Match Loudness feature. This feature lets me open multiple files, and use various standards to analyze the perceived loudness, and match them. This lets me take phrases and quotes, and have each one have the same loudness.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I have found that Adobe Audition can crash from time to time, and totally freeze. It does however save a useful recovery file which usually has what I was working on contained within it.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Audition to take batches of recorded audio phrases, and use the Match Loudness tool. This tool has the benefit of analyzing the perceived loudness of the audio file, and then creating a new file where the audio loudness matches all other phrases in the batch. This is actually a very complicated requirement, which cannot easily be done with alternatives like FFMPEG.

 ### 36. Edit audio files like a pro within a stylish package

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

When it comes to video editing, I am not that savvy within the sphere of audio manipulation. That's why Audition's easy-to-use tools and templates make our projects sound great on all devices.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The program can be very heavy on system resources, and although the UI is fairly intuitive, without some basic knowledge of waveforms and audio effects, it can be very overwhelming.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do weekly video projects of various complexity, but the throughline with all of them is the need for verbal clarity. Audition has excellent tools to edit and sharpen spoken audio segments.

 ### 37. Great for Editing Out Background Noise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

One of the only in-depth sound editing software around, I can edit out background noise easily dsfkjjshjhfhjsdhfjkhsdkjhfkhskjdfhksdhfkjhsdkfhkjdshfkjhdkjshfjshdkf

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to edit out background noise, and the process is not the most user-friendly. I wish there was more sound visualization in the program.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that I can make audio of someone talking and make it easier to understand by removing loud AC and traffic noise, without having to wait for them to re-record it.

 ### 38. Excellent integrations, great filters, not easy enough to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | IT Services Contractor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The best part is the integrations with Adobe Premiere and other related software. I can export it over, make adjustments or clean up audio, take it back again and keep going.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

My biggest issue is the legacy items. You can view audio either in multitrack or singletrack. All fine and good - except if you want to apply effects to reduce background noise, multitrack lets you just add the effect, but singletrack, you have to "apply" which now completely edits the file.

I confess not to be an audio expert - I just want to record my voice for videos and not sound bad. It just seems like there's a lot of extra steps to go through, and while I understnadind this is a more complex system than, say, Garageband, it also feels like there should be either a streamlined version or have some more explanations about just why X is like Y.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

Just know what you're in for. There's a lot there, and it's not as easy as "click and go." It's worth the time, but make sure it's worth *your* time.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My main needs are for audio recordings, or update the audio files in Adobe Premiere videos. For that, it's been great as I jump back and forth so my videos sound professional without a lot of background noise reduced. Using the whole Creative Cloud suite together does speed up the process.

 ### 39. Adobe Audition for brilliant audio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle G. | Manager, Marketing & Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The fact that I can do basic audio edits quickly or more detailed edits when necessary in one program

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There was a slight learning curve for some of the more detailed edits, however the Adobe tutorials are fabulous and show me exactly what I need

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My focus is primarily video and audition allows me to quickly clean up mistakes or issues with recording

 ### 40. Best DAW is you have Adobe CC

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshavardhan T. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition works really well with Premiere Pro. I have CC via school and it works amazing! I use Audition for all my projects, even if I use another DAW, my first go to is Audition. If what I need isn't in Audition I go to my second favorite DAW.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I don't like that Audition doesn't have loops like Logic Pro X. This is a major drawback. Even MIDI devices is a major drawback! I use a MIDI keyboard and I wish that Audition had the elements to support it!

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audio editing is much easier with Audition as it connects with Premiere Pro. Whenever I mix with Audition, I hate exporting the audio as one file as I would like control over individual tracks in my video editor even though I mastered it in Audition. Audition has a feature where you can import directly to Premiere

 ### 41. If you need a program for creating or editing your audio medium files, LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick H. | Formerly a PT Radio Announcer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

For me personally, Adobe Audition is the Gold Standard. From editting to creating, Pitch bending to creaqting sounds you may not get through other means. this is the program you want. I really would hope that after researching all you can do with this program you would not look anywhere else for a user friendly editior. .

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

The fact is that Adobe is the Gold Standard and can therefore Charge because it is a Good Program and Adobe Knows it. However, there are ways to get Audition as part of a "Creative Suite" for pennies on the dollar. Yes, the regular price is sucky, but if you can get it...It is worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

If you are really racking your brain, trying to decide the best audio editing software. Than from my Point-Of-View you cannot do better than Adobe Audition. If you have trouble using this program then you must be someone who really like doing things the hard way and In-Turn getting a sub-par final project. Just my Opinion

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you are trying to mix a song with individual tracks, the Multi-Track feature is HANDS DOWN, the easiest to use, and provides the best and most professional creation tool you can use. If you are editing snaps, pops, or breaths from a song your recorded or a file that has gotten old and is therefore scratchy, you can do so with Audition. I love this program, and I am sure you will love it also.

 ### 42. "Logic"al upgrade in Adobe Audition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roland M. | Communications and Creative Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe Audition is tightly integrated into the Creative Cloud workflow, and helps me to quickly record audio voiceover pieces and import them into my Premiere projects. Not only that, but the tools within Adobe Audition have expanded to the point that I hardly use any of my old audio editing tools.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

As with all Adobe products, it would be nice to have similar key commands, but some things are legacy from other pieces of software, and Audition starting in Logic is no exception. Great tool otherwise, and this is an extremely small complaint from someone who works multiple platforms with the software, Mac, PC, laptop and desktop.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

I would recommend Adobe Audition as a very seamless workflow partner within the Adobe Creative Cloud environment. The more I use it, the more I gravitate away from other software and over to it, being able to integrate content into my workflow far more easily.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cleaning up audio mixes on live recordings is a snap, and saves not only time, but money. Productivity has gone up on shoots because we know that we can sort out any audio issues in post.

 ### 43. Surprisingly intuitive and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The learning curve on Audition was remarkably short. I hadn't used a DAW in several years, so I was uncertain as to what to expect, but Audition was shockingly easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

My biggest complaint with Audition is that if you don't have your shortcut keys configured, it is easy to accidentally lose a window or menu if you are clicking through things too fast.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

If you don't already have a favorite Digital Audio recorder/editor/DAW this is a great option, especially if you are already familiar with/using other Adobe products, since it is part of the Creative Cloud.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like most Adobe software, Audition is designed to work seamlessly with other titles. This has made it possible to create high-quality voiceover tracks and mixed soundtracks for videos I am working on in Premier. I can update those files easily on the fly with no loss of quality.

 ### 44. Giving wings to audios.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro G. | Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Excellent program for audio editing, very versatile and full of possibilities. When associated with other adobe programs we have a great immersion in audio visual. I use it a lot to improve my audios on videos that I need to edit. With its integrations we can easily add other elements to audios taken directly from premiere or after effects. I think the communication between applications and the practicality of communication between program is fantastic As interfaces are similar and from the same creator, it is easy to work in parallel with these integrations. I think this program for editing audios is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It's not Adobe's most complex program, but that doesn't leave the possibilities and versatility behind. I find it very easy to import audio from other programs and then import again. Perhaps the only problem with this program is the same as with all the others in adobe. Due to the complexity and possibility, firstly, it is not a very user-friendly program. Still, because it is widely used, we have access to a lot of good material that brings all the necessary knowledge to develop great work.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

Excellent program for editing audio, very complete. If you already use Premiere, here's the solution for what you can't find in Premiere.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest gain with this program is being able to go further in audio editing. Premiere and after-effects are complete, but when we can fix more mistakes with Audition, we can take our videos to another level. I think their integration and how quick it is to get the job done is fantastic. It certainly gives you a lot of agility and speed at work, managing to deliver jobs faster and many times before what was promised.

 ### 45. An excellent program for professional audio editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Z. | Project Manager - Especialista en comunicación de datos, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I can work in the cloud in the Adobe environment. I love it because it's so easy to use. Importing mp3 and other formats is really easy. The compression of the final product is good. Compatibility with other programs is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

It has limitations for professional audio editing. Podcast editing is a very good option, but I would like to see improvements in the interface and multitrack editing.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

Take advantage of the potential of the Adobe cloud, integrating Audition with video editing and even web layout programs. Use the shortcuts to edit your podcast faster. Easily export to mp3 or any universal format.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the problem of space on the devices because we work in the cloud. It is very safe to have files on any device without the risk of losing them. We edit podcasts very easily for the communication of the Municipality. We are happy with Audition and the Adobe cloud.

 ### 46. Fairly intuitive, but beware the glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy F. | Director of Strategic Content, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The learning curve for Adobe Audition is pretty flat, actually. After just a little while playing around, I was able to get into a groove and edit my podcast effectively and easily. I love the pre-set templates for podcasts and other projects. I'm still learning a bit about some of the finer points, but this is a great product. Recently I figured out how to utilize a file storage system so that we could have multiple editors work on a single project, so that's great.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I wish you could input an audio file an have the different tracks/layers separate to edit them individually. Kinda like how the layers separate in Photoshop or Illustrator. Especially if the file was created in Audition itself. Also, and this is a big one: Audition will frequently kick audio tracks "offline" on save. I've been burned a couple of times after saving then exporting a project, only to listen to the file after and find huge gaps where Audition had failed to carry the tracks over. Beware when you save that you have all your files and tracks in the mixdown. If they're offline, often you can just quit Audition and then open it back up, and they'll be there.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

Don't be afraid to dive in! Once you get the basics of how it works, it's really quite intuitive...just beware the glitch mentioned above.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm creating a podcast for my work. We conduct interviews and produce stories using Audition.

 ### 47. Excellent for professional audio editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdelrahman M. | Video Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

The interface is very organized, well, not easy to understand at first, but once you get used to it, you'll find it rather perfect and remarkably adaptive.
I like that I can work with multiple tracks and edit them right away within one project.
It is compelling software, yet very light, and can work even on slower computers, and the rendering time is slightly faster than other software in the same category.
Adobe Audition has lots of powerful plugins that are very easy to use.
The best thing about Audition is that Adobe integrates Audition with other programs like Premiere, which enables you to edit audio from Premiere on Audition directly, then send it back to premiere without wasting time.
The overall quality Audition is capable of producing is Amazing and very professional.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There isn't much I dislike about Adobe Audition, except that it is a bit overwhelming for new users and typical usages, which makes it an application for professionals only.
The price is a little high.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I always use Audition to fix corrupted or noisy audio from the clips I shoot.
I also enhance the quality of any low-quality audio.
I can add and effects and presets to footage, as well as manipulate and mix them with ease.
Audition saves a lot of time while working on complex projects with the integration with Premiere.

 ### 48. Strong Pro Tool, Weak User Tool

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean S. | Radio Show/Podcast Producer and Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

High performance in professional options for editing, enhancing and restoring audio.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There are lots of unnecessary settings. It is also not at all user-friendly or for the average audio editor. Thus it is something that I think is best kept at a premium for audio pros only, but will never be widely used as it is.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

I only recommend Adobe Audition for audio engineer professionals. But if you know what you are doing, it certainly has some high ends to it. For example, Audition has specialized tools for cleaning up or restoring audio and offers precision, nondestructive editing for corporate and commercial video, as well as podcasts. It absolutely excels in post-production

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this point, I only use Adobe Audition when I need something very specific in enhancing or restoring some audio. But that is becoming rarer as other much more user-friendly apps are coming along and offering everything Audition does, but in a way that is much easier for the user to make use of.

 ### 49. Great & easy audio editing interface that's more amateur than protools but is all that I need.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

Adobe users will find the interface easy to pick up and comprehensive against other adobe products. I use premiere & after effects and can seamlessly work between all three. I also know Avid Protools and given that my audio tasks are not incredibly complicated, Audition is all that I need and helps me not have to go through Avid's pay model to access great audio tools.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

I wish there was a way to not have to edit destructively on tracks or be able to go back to prior versions after those effects have been added. Sometimes the program crashes out of nowhere with work lost.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining my editors within Adobe Suite and getting to pay one subscription. I also appreciate that it does not take a long time to pick up if you have experience with other audio editing programs.

 ### 50. Best tool to edit audio.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuj S. | Sales and Marketing Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Audition?**

I really like peerless restoration and repair capability. It made the complex processes look very easy. I did not face any trouble while starting with the tool & the best part about is the dynamic link function.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?**

There is nothing to dislike according to me except one thing. It doesn't support MIDI which causes issues many times. It is very heavy and the subscription is also costly. For a student, it's too much because I started using it when I was a student.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Audition:**

You should use this tool. You;ll find it very easy and then fall in love with it.

**What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make audio and music perfectly to sync with the videos I create for my company.
It helps me make the right content which helps me gain more traction and engagement on the social content.
