Compared to other softwares in the same category, Adobe does it best by making it the lowest barrier of entry to any project. For an absolute beginner, Adobe does it really well! Some of the scripting options in flash have been simplified too much in my opinion, but I might be trying to force out of date approaches to common animation tasks. I haven't used Adobe Animate a ton, but I think having a bank of assets to choose from would be handy as well (kind of like Adobe Character Animator). Better tutorials would be useful too. I like the consistency and similarity maintained in this tool after taking over Micromedia Flash. We had use this software as we were recommend by a friend who already used. We are very happy that this software fulfilled all our animations needs.
