What do you like best about Adobe After Effects?

There are many great tools that can give you control over the look of your video. There are lots of resources and tutorials that can help you understand how to create certain effects. You can use plugins and extensions to more quickly and easily create advanced effects, which can be useful for business video titles, bumpers and logos. There are many file formats you can save to. What do you dislike about Adobe After Effects?

The cost is a bit high if you're looking for just basic editing or don't have the technical understanding to use this level of software. The features and functionality can be tricky. The timeline isn't as easy to deal with like Adobe Premiere Pro or other similar video editors. I know they're different programs, but I just find that it's harder to navigate and place things. Recommendations to others considering Adobe After Effects:

If you have the budget for it, Adobe After Effects is great tool that, with some training and experience, can help you create great videos that can enhance your branding and professional image. If you're intimidated by it, or just need basic editing and effects, then you can probably go with a less expensive and easier to use video editor and Elements. What problems is Adobe After Effects solving and how is that benefiting you?

With training, add-ons and templates, we're able to create very rich video assets that we can use in conference presentations, on social media, on our websites, or anywhere we display video. We can save to many different formats, so we know the videos will most likely be compatible with whatever platform we decide to use them.
