It's a one-solution-for-all product that lets me manage, create highlights, convert, and perform other tasks, which saves time and works well. The user interface is really simple, and this makes navigation easy. I have used other readers as well and have found them to have poor navigation, which affects the overall quality. I can edit the PDF well, and it allows me to e-sign, which is quite important for contracts and invoices. It works smoothly across desktop, mobile, and cloud, so I can access files anywhere. Also, I recently used a new AI feature that gives me quick summaries, saving time. Another good aspect is the onboarding. As software, it is very simple to get started with. This is a bit hard to pinpoint. But if there is something to be pointed then one is the pricing. While this is not too much for beginners, it can be a breaking point at times. Also, there should be some simpler features. Like the drag and drop or real-time working with team as in Docs, these can be good addition. What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you? The biggest problem it solves for businesses is organising reports and making signing them easier. Now, there is no need to print every single doc, sign, and upload again. Everything can now work in one place. I can open a file, review it, make changes, and sign it within minutes. It just makes the whole process smoother and saves a lot of time, especially when dealing with multiple documents or tight deadlines. Second things that I actually like are the highlight and AI. Adobe Acrobat was a useful PDF editing software for my day to day work deliverables, not only for turning around official work documents quickly, but also for editing my personal PDF files. I found the software interface really user-friendly and easy for new users to get started with. The editing capabilities Adobe Acrobat provides for PDFs are exactly what professionals like myself would need to get documents edited and sent out quickly. It allowed me to edit text, graphics, and images, and it also made it easy to add my official signature to work documents. I also used the redact feature very often when sharing highly confidential documents, which was a super useful option in my opinion. Another helpful feature that I used very often was the Scan & OCR which worked very accurately and helped digitize paper documents in a short amount of time, saving on manual digitization effort. Finally, the security features—like being able to password-protect documents and sign them digitally—were very helpful while sending out documents to clients in official settings. While working with larger PDF files, I’ve noticed that Adobe sometimes lagged and took a long time to process the document, which was frustrating. It also crashed a few times when I was dealing with bigger files, which isn’t ideal—especially when I was on a time crunch to meet tight deadlines. Adobe Acrobat was really useful in the office when multiple PDF files needed to be edited and populated with each employee’s details. It let me edit text, graphics, and images in a PDF based on what my work required. It also made it simple to add my official signature to work documents before sending them to clients. Another helpful feature that I used very often to save a lot of time on my day to day tasks was the Scan & OCR feature which worked very accurately and helped digitize paper documents in a short amount of time, saving on manual digitization effort. The functionality of PDF editing that retains the original formatting of the document is what I value the most. When I work with my team on complex API documents, using the commenting and reviewing tools on exported architecture diagrams, the commenting and highlighting tools are exceptionally accurate. Being able to search the older requirements and being able to access the app from different devices is really convenient, due to being able to access the app on my tablet. When I am far away from my computer, I can examine my code audit documents. I have a lot of confidence in my document security, like password protection and redaction, when I deal with sensitive NDAs or documents. I am confident when using STP. Luckily, basic viewing is going to be cheaper on other platforms. The product performs well, as long as you're not doing something extreme. The application can, and does, lag and stutter when I am using the application to open a large file. The product also has a large and complicated database schema with a lot of graphics. Some advanced features, such as the complex redaction features and security certificates, also require quite a lot of skill and have a higher degree of difficulty. About 40% of my time is spent documenting new processes on Adobe Acrobat, rather than actually creating software. I discovered an opportunity to line my technical outcomes up with business expectations. Adobe Acrobat has formed those requirements nicely. I actively use Adobe Acrobat to assist my processing needs during software development. Unfortunately, during security scans, code audit reports, and other security reporting needs, most of the results are exported into raw PDFs. Adobe Acrobat allows me to scan for the most important vulnerabilities, annotate the reports using sticky notes to explain what the DevOps team needs to consider, and adds a password protection layer before I share that PDF report on Slack. I use Adobe Acrobat for reviewing other companies' API documentation. When Adobe Acrobat allows you to search and render a PDF into bookmarks, you can indicate all the available endpoints, annotate the parameters, and, within a few seconds, you can integrate them as part of the integration process and API documentation. Once we finalize system architecture diagrams, we export them to PDF. To collaborate on architecture diagrams, Adobe Acrobat gives us the functionality to use its drawing and annotation tools to draw, circle, and comment on different components of the diagrams. I easily convert poorly organized requirement documents that are either in Word or Excel, that the clients distribute to us for their proposals, into a neat PDF I can share with the clients. Adobe Acrobat handles all my contracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements. While it’s not inexpensive and has some performance lag with very large files, this software brings a professional finish to my workflow. Given how reliable it is and how important it is to my various editing needs, it’s a permanent addition to my machine. Acrobat has been very helpful to me since 2006, it is widely available for almost all the OS - be it 32 or 64 bit. The option available are very helpful and the best part is the software is very fast to and reliable. It's interface is very simple yet very appealing till date. You open as many as possible documents and work together with no issue. In my knowledge I have had many readers in experience, but none was such super fine. Moreover, it can share meta data as well about the files I have opened and the pricing according to me is very much on point. Adding to it is the ease in installation of the same software/application, you can easily install it and get start to work in very minimal time. And if gets any issue you can easily reinstall and get back at the same place where it all started to happen. Lastly, I am really enjoying the AI feature offered. It helps me to near perfection as I was able to understand and extract the pinpoints of a 1200 page in no more than mins.
