"I have been running google ads campaigns for 3 years"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

I really like the ease of use and the quick implementation. The search works intuitively, and the results are accurate and easy to read. It also integrates well with other platforms, which makes the workflow smoother and saves time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

Sometimes it lacks more advanced options for customization and filtering of results. The admin panel could be a bit more intuitive, especially for new users. Other than that, the tool works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lack of Flexibility – Paid for a Subscription, but the Tool Didn’t Work"
0/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

At first, AddSearch looked like a promising solution, with a clean interface and useful features. However, despite initial optimism, their team was unable to meet some very basic requirements for our website. We expected a smooth integration, but instead, we faced multiple technical issues that were never resolved. Communication was slow, and in the end, we were left with a non-functional tool. To make things worse, we still had to pay for the subscription, even though the service never worked as expected. If your website has specific needs, be very cautious before committing, as they may not be able to deliver. Very disappointing experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

We had high hopes for AddSearch, but unfortunately, it failed to meet our expectations. Despite initial discussions, their team was unable to properly adjust the tool to work with our website. We encountered multiple issues, and the promised solutions never materialized. Communication was slow, and in the end, we were left without a functional search solution. To make matters worse, we still had to pay for the subscription, even though the tool never worked for us. If your website has specific requirements, be very cautious before signing a contract with them, as they may not be able to deliver what you need. Definitely not the seamless experience we were hoping for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Helena Rebane of AddSearch

I am very sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience with the AddSearch implementation. Our goal is always to provide a seamless and effective search solution, and we regret that this was not the outcome in your case.

I would like to clarify that our team provided all necessary tools, support, custom UIs, and solutions in a timely manner. However, as the implementation was handled by your third-party agency, we unfortunately had limited control over their response times and execution. We understand how frustrating delays can be, and we wish that the responsibilities of the stakeholders (you, your agency, AddSearch) could have been clear to everyone involved in this project.

We value your feedback and would be happy to discuss this further to find a resolution. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

"Simple Yet Powerful Site Search Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

AddSearch is very easy to integrate with our website — no complicated setup. The search results are fast and relevant, which helps our visitors find what they need quickly. I also like that we can customize the look and feel to match our site’s branding, and the analytics feature shows us what people are searching for, which helps improve our content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

There’s not much to dislike, but some advanced customizations require basic coding knowledge, so non-technical users might need help. Also, pricing could be more flexible for smaller sites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very strong and reasonably priced search platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

Firstly, the search results are good, and the ease of basic implementation is awesome. And their support is first-rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

Their WordPress plugin to add their service to a WordPress site is good, but could use more options integrated into it. For example, their brand new AI answers product (which has a surprisingly small additional charge to use) cannot be added with just the plugin. It's not a big deal if you have anyone on a development team, but I would still like to avoid paying for any development time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High quality search results and easy to manage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

The platform is very easy to use and maintain. It offers a number of features that allow us to highlight particular stories or marketing initiatives, while also giving us the everyday tools to tweak our results through a number of attributes. It doesn't hurt that the cost is relatively low for this space, without sacrificing the quality of search results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

The onboarding to get AddSearch integrated with our site wasn't quite as speedy as the sales process would imply, but it's still faster to implement than every other platform we investigated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and user-friendly.. setting up search was a breeze"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AddSearch?

There are several things I liked about AddSearch Site Search...

Setting up and managing AddSearch is easy, it would even be easy for someone with limited technical experience. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and there's documentation that walks you through the process

AddSearch quickly crawls your website and gathers all the results for search, making it easy for our users to find what they need on our website straight after updates we make / new pages we publish.

The customer support team is fantastic. Whenever I've had a question, they've been quick to provide a solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddSearch?

Honestly, I haven't encountered any major drawbacks with AddSearch. Perhaps for very large and complex websites, some users might want more advanced customisation options. But as we aren't a website with LOTS of pages (over 1000) I wouldnt really know what it's like for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
