My favorite thing about Addigy is that effectively, if you can write a bash script, Addigy can handle scheduling and executing it. For that reason, I've been able to deeply customize how I manage the Macs within our organization. For example, they include a simple scheduling mechanism, but by combining that with one that I built myself using scripts, I can have multiple schedules on which updates of different kinds are pushed. While it can sometimes be a headache to sort out because it's custom code, I love that Addigy gives me the freedom to build pretty much anything I can imagine.

Other highlights:

Addigy includes (and this is a big one) a support screensharing solution with your subscription, allowing you to eliminate the need to buy a separate product for that purpose.

Addigy's support team has been very responsive in listening to feedback and adding new features in the over three years I've used the product.

I'm still learning their new Compliance feature, but it looks very promising for quick auditing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you read my "what do I like best" response above, you'll see that I note that it's useful if you can write a bash script. I might go so far as to say "you really should know how to write a bash script if you use Addigy." Their off-the-shelf options available with only GUI tools are good for basic setups or beginners at Mac management, but to really leverage the power of the tool, I'd strongly suggest doing some custom scripting. For instance, most of the Addigy-managed software installers that you can use are built to be silent with minimal UI. Without doing at least some custom scripting (not difficult, but not included) you don't have the option to do things like notify a user that an app must be closed so that it can be upgraded. Not a huge deal, but it's worth knowing if you're considering starting to use Addigy.

While I stand by the above concern from the last time I wrote a review, Addigy has added some significant new features to help with this, giving you GUI options to check for running processes, check for Intel vs Apple processors, and some other items that make management easier for less script-savvy users. With that in mind, Addigy is starting from a better place on this topic than it once did, and has shown improvement, which is a great thing to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the multi-tenacy that they offer which allows us to be able to seamlessly manage multiple clients under the same piece of glass. I love the ability to be able to deploy software at ease or even custom software that our clients might have. The ability to chat with end users straight through the portal is great and the self service application is also a huge benefit to our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found an exact item to dislike about Addigy however, I think there might be some improvement in sharing of scripts between the community Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This product is Phenomenal! The fact that I can log into the app anywhere and support the users, but the fact that all the user has to is be connected to any network connection makes support so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing that I can think of that would be something that I am not a fan of, is the fact that if you push a software update or a rename, you need to stay on the machine for a little for the change to take place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Better value and usability than the closest rival that I also evaluated before landing on Addigy for our deployment. New features and improvements are being added regularly, and the support teams are always willing to assist and receptive to feedback.
