"Effortless Calendar Integration with Room for Enhanced Analytics"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

I use AddEvent to help people seamlessly sync event details to their personal calendars, which really helps prevent attendees from forgetting about the event and not showing up. I like its ease of use; it was simple to set up and easy to embed the code into HubSpot for our marketing emails. It didn't require any coding experience and was simple to integrate. There were no difficult integration workflows, just copying and pasting the AddEvent HTML code into our email marketing template. The initial setup was very simple and took about 10 minutes. What do you dislike about AddEvent?

I would love to see more granular analytics. Specifically, the ability to track individual-level data to see exactly which registrants are saving the event ot their calendars, rather than just seeing total counts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful MailChimp Integration, But the Free Plan Feels Too Limited"
3/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

It is helpful that it connects to MailChimp for the events our ministry creates so I know who will be attending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

I do not care for how limited the free account is, especially because we are a small ministry and cannot afford to spend funds towards this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Consistent UX Across Calendars"
4/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

I like that AddEvent provides a consistent UX/GUI experience for both members and new visitors. It's adaptable and allows events to be added to various types of calendars, like Outlook and MS365, which solves the problems we had when using Google Calendar alone. The interface makes creating an event simple, including adding images and links. The ability to segment events by week is also useful since a recurring setup isn't ideal for visitors. Overall, the feel of the UX/GUI is relatively easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

(1) The active URL field/property isn't the best and feels a little clunky. Not being a coder, it's not the easiest to type out. (2) The footer - simply put, the person's account name/owner and their email should not be visible. It should be able to be edited or hidden. (3) Perhaps some additional fonts would be nice. "AddEvent is incredibly useful and simple for our high-impact projects"
5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

AddEvent streamlines our entire event workflow, from creation to follow-up, while giving us full control over branded assets on our site. We rely on it for a key project that bridges our digital storefront with live video demos and sales calls, and the results have been impressive with increased engagement and revenue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

Certain months we did not use AddEvent, so the subscription felt like wasted spend. But overall, this was not a problem because of the low cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really Easy to Use and Implement"
5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

It was really easy to use and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

It's not really about AddEvent, but the thing I didn't like was I had to use another service other than my main service. My service didn't offer an "add to calendar" option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Event Management with Broad Calendar Compatibility"
5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

I like that AddEvent is quite simple to use and easy to understand. Anyone who can create an event in Outlook or Zoom will find it familiar and straightforward. You just build your event, and then you can copy and paste bits into where you need them. It's nice and simple to use, makes sense, and is understandable. I also appreciate that it works across different calendar providers like Gmail and Microsoft Outlook, so no matter what technology someone uses, AddEvent will support them. It's great for letting clients see upcoming training sessions and easily add reminders to their calendars, making sure they don't miss anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

I think the area I would like personally to be improved is their embeddable calendars. I've actually had some messages from the development team there. So I think there is some work due to be taking place, which might help me out there. But I would love to be able to embed my, to create, like, a customised and streamlined embeddable calendar where users of my system could see all my upcoming drop-in training sessions. Whereas right now, I have to create the sessions and keep copying and pasting from AddEvent's admin system over to my system. So that would be great just to stop some copy-pasting. If I could just embed a calendar in there, and it would automatically show the upcoming events. There is a currently available embeddable calendar, but it doesn't quite meet my needs and adds exrra complexity and clicks for end users which I want to minimise. "Effortless Event Management and Seamless RSVPs"
5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

I like the ease of use for the end user, allowing them to easily RSVP for an event and have it automatically add to their calendar. It's also great that users can subscribe to calendars for a specific subset of people. Switching from Google Calendar, AddEvent has been a seamless and good solution for us. The initial setup was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

I think the aesthetics of just having it feel a little more elevated could probably be improved. But other than that, the functionality definitely outweighs that as a con. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to understand and set up. Customers reported that it was easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

"Effortless Event Integration, Boosts Engagement"
5/5
What do you like best about AddEvent?

I love how AddEvent integrates seamlessly into our emails, making it incredibly easy for guests to add events to their calendars, which is crucial especially when we send out invites weeks in advance. This feature ensures the highest attendance possible for our events. The back-end features are a big plus too, allowing us to see how many people have added the event to their calendars, giving us immediate feedback and insights, which is very handy. We've found it easy to implement, and it's a feature that our constituents have really enjoyed. I also appreciate that AddEvent embeds events right into our guests' hands, making it a proactive approach in today's mobile-driven world. Overall, it's a simple and effective tool that has filled a gap we previously had, ensuring that our guests are well-prepared with all event details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AddEvent?

AddEvent was very easy to use for our team, but I can see how implementing it could be difficult for someone who is less tech savvy. Perhaps more specific instructions, or even a visual step-by-step guide could be helpful for how to get the URL ready to use in your email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
