The image previews do not show, meaning you are completely unable to see the image within your graphic prior to selecting it, which slows down the process significantly. I constantly receive errors on the page and am forced to refresh the page, which often does not rectify the issue. The results are very inconsistent, and honestly, you can create similar or even better ads yourself on Canva — at a much lower cost. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** Be careful with the billing system. I signed up for the 7-day free trial, and there was no clear information that it would automatically charge €366.82 at the end. I never received the reminder email they claim to have sent. The moment I noticed the charge, I immediately downgraded to the Starter Plan (€21.10/month) — yet I was charged both amounts on the same day (€366.82 + €21.10). What’s worse, my account only showed 10 credits, not the higher plan features I was billed for. Probably how it magically charges you after the trial — without a single warning email or invoice in sight. That’s some real cutting-edge user experience design. Bravo, AdCreative.ai! **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** I signed up for a free trial with AdCreative.ai on May 20th, expecting to test the platform and decide whether it was a good fit. I never used the product beyond the signup, and honestly didn’t find it useful for my nonprofit work. On May 25th, I received a promotional-style email saying my trial would end in 2 days – but it looked more like a sales pitch than an actual warning. It included no clear cancellation link, no urgent billing notice, and no real clarity on the consequences of inaction. To my shock, I was charged $406.80 – twice. That’s more than $800 for a service I never used or authorized beyond the trial. I volunteer with a humanitarian organization and simply cannot afford this. No download library. Customer service who don't know the product and give wrong advice. Broken refund process in which they cancel accounts without refunding payments. I asked about the download library as I lost access to my previous downloads (an absolutely essential feature and extremely basic). I was told first there wasn't one. Fair enough. Was told however that previous downloads have a red shape around them. Tried to find creatives with a red shape around them - couldn't find any. Went back to chat support, was then told I need to resubscribe to get access to old downloads. Okay I thought, download library really should be a core feature but okay, so I paid to re-sub. Turned out,still no access to my downloads, so I was told incorrectly twice I would have access and it isn't actually possible. Finally I give up and ask for a refund. Okay they said but refund not processed. So I chased and was told 5 days. And now a week later I log back in and not only have I not received a refund - my subscription has been cancelled (made inactive) even though I have paid for it!! I am counting 5 or 6 events here where the support process has failed. No one seems to care, maybe because I am on a cheaper plan but this is some of the worst experience with an app can remember. At time of writing again offered a refund (3rd time it has been promised). Yet nothing else, no gesture of credits or anything. Truly terrible. Apparently this is impossible due to their system. Come on guys. Whole company needs a redesign of its customer service processes. I haven't really been able to test this, as I have not been able to use a single ad produced by the AdCreative algorithm. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** Whenever I need to generate a creative, I need to enter a headline and a punchline (header and description), and choose the wording of your CTA. All good here. Here's where the issue starts: once I'm done, I am supposed to upload my image or use one of the many available stock images. I am not able to edit the image or move it around the canvas, so every single creative that gets generated is unusable. This is in fact a deal breaker: if the image never fits into any of the images that the engine produces, then there is no point in using AdCreative.ai. I cancelled, and I started getting offers and rebates again. This tells you everything you need to know about this business. They don't deliver the value the promise. Good businesses make everything to get you to stay while you're paying, not the contrary. Don't get fooled. There is no AI. Then I had difficulty logging back in to cancel it before they billed me. And *then* after I disputed it via my credit card, they refused to refund me! Avoid them at all costs! It was supposed to be an intuitive and Ai driven website. Most of what you need to do this is still very manual and the output is not great. The same thing every time. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** They completely ripped me off. Signed up for a trial with the promo code for $23/month. They automatically bumped me up to the $99 package without telling me. No reminder email, or notification. Nothing. Then when I downgraded, they immediately took all the credits that WERE ALREADY PAID FOR. ANd they billed me again for the same time period. So now I've spent $130 for 10 credits of absolute garbage. Then they have NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL and even their messaging service isn't open during the week? Why can't they respond to emails or messenger? 100% this is the BIGGEST SCAM SERVICE EVER. Not worth paying them a penny for unfinished garbage software. RUN! I will be filing disputes with my credit card company and making sure EVERYONE knows not to use this. All of the 5 star reviews are FAKE and PAID FOR. Do not fall for it. **What problems is AdCreative.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It doesn't solve any problems. But unfortunately that's it. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** The idea behind AI actually sounds good at first. Images are connected with texts and you save the whole creation of creatives. Unfortunately this is not the case... Images and texts are simply dragged into standard masks. The program unfortunately does not recognize the images and covers the most important or writes texts over the images. Even a re-upload of the images does not really bring much. Also, you can only design ads by putting your company logo on the creative. This also covers again the important points of the images. The only good thing is the text configurator. **What problems is AdCreative.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Actually, the program should relieve me of the painful work of creating the creatives. Creating creatives is very time consuming. Preparing texts and images and the AI does the rest is in principle a great idea. ### 22. Signed up for $21 starter package. Pricing. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** The creatives are all the same, it's basically providing the same templates for every project you create while adding 2 of your brand colors and a single image that you need to provide. So while I was expecting that the AI will generate the entire creative based on brand colors + text to image commands. all I got were templates that doesn't look good. basically useless for us. **What problems is AdCreative.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It didn't solve any of the problems we wanted it to crack. the outputs were low quality and templated. It's not beneficial whatsoever. What we hoped for is to be able to create ad creatives easily and quickly- didn't happen. ### 24. When you can access it, the interface appears to be user-friendly and provides you with some pretty unique tools. **What do you dislike about AdCreative.ai?** I have huge issues accessing the platform, so it seems very buggy. From the level of access I have seen, the AI seems to struggle with what it's recommending and following basic concepts. This "AI" seems a bit dumb and unable to provide even the proper color changes to make things readable. Also, image placement appears to be a bit strange too. Some of the image issues I feel are gearing towards the upsells inside the platform. I would probably relabel this as automatic or simplistic ad creation rather than machine learning or AI. **What problems is AdCreative.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've been trying to solve the problem of scalable ad creative with this, but I haven't seen any real benefit to it since I've only been able to access the platform one time. ### 33.
