"Great Ad Server for Startups"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

The best thing about AdButler is its intuitive and simple UI. It strikes a good balance between being able to support the flexibility needed when configuring Advertisers and Publishers without being convoluted or overly technical. The menus and forms are set out in a clear, logical manner that is easy to understand and follow. Similarly the reporting is basic, but seems to provide the required information with sufficient granularity in the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

Having used the product for over a year now, there frankly isn't much to dislike! They could do with a bit more range in their plans (it's amazing how quickly visitors will burn through 100,000 impressions in a month), but the overages aren't excessive so it still doesn't work out too expensive even if you go outside your plan. "Great product that works as advertised"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

Simple, performant, and powerful tool to design and run advertising campaigns.

Their ad zone tag support is comprehensive and works for the majority of our use cases.

Their support team is quite helpful and quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

Documentation is spotty, and sometimes outdated.

Their default domains and url paths are unfortunately found on most adblocker lists, so it takes some customization to circumvent the most common adblockers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really simple 3rd party ad serving, with multiple costing models"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

I like the ability to choose specific pricing models that best fit our business. It covers most of the needed ad serving features which is a good. You could directly use these in DBM, Mediamath, and I guess TDD as 3rd party creatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

Its a little expensive when you choose the pay as you go model. But again, its really convenient for ad hoc ad serving requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Customer Service, Features, and Uptime"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

We have been trafficking banners on behalf of our clients since 1997 using various in-house and 3rd-party solutions. Several years ago, when one of our Ad Serving vendors changed pricing drastically and eventually, "closed shop", we found our selves in desperate needed for a quick replacement. I found AdButler via web search and today I am very happy to have given them a shot and stuck with them for this long.

Customer service is extremely responsive. On the rare occasions where I needed to reach out for questions, replies came within a few hours, if not immediately. I have even called in via telephone and spoke to a human, which is rare these days.

On the technical side, I have observed continuous development, new features adapting to new technological trends and compliance needs. Happy not to be on a stale platform. Uptime is impeccable as I cannot recall a time when my ads were not being served.

All in all, very satisfied with AdButler. I always feel like they are helping me get the best out of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

geo-targetting interface could be improved.other than that, the service is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

Their platform is simplistic, but for a great reason. i have used many different dashboards before for newsletters specifically and they make it SO easy! You can walk through their process step by step without any hand holding and feel confident in the final product. The ease of setting up their code was even a simple task. For this type of platform you don't need any fancy bells or whistles, so this delivers exactly what it needs to do!

The tagging set up in the very beginning was super easy and we were able to plug in any of our targeting variables to ensure that we were targeting the correct newsletters and I was able to do this process all by myself instead of having to rely on a third-party and their timelines to get the project done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

There area couple of tweaks that I could make, that would probably be more for the benefit of my specific company, rather than the entire population using this platform, but other than that, they have nailed it.

A couple of those things would be:

- We run a lot of house (promo) campaigns to fill for times when we are not sold out, in order to do this we have to create multiple 'campaigns' for our different newsletters. That works fine for evergreen creative, however, if you have time stamped creative, you have to make a whole new campaign. Because of this we have a lot of house campaigns instead of just keeping it to one overall campaign. If you can date specific creatives then that would be super ideal work around.

- We have to host the creatives on our end, so we technically have to do two uploads, once to our own system and then once in Ad Butler. You can't just upload the creative straight to their UI.

- Also, would be great if we could gain programmatic money from this, however, tags are not allowed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simply and easily what you need by an AD Server"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

I was asked to run a campaign by a big luxury brand so as the requests for displaying the banners where very restrictive and conditional I had to look for and AD Server. After a while found AdButler which it isn't only cheap (you can ask for customized impression plans) but so easy to configure and use it for anyone it's not a computer administrator. What do you dislike about AdButler?

I'm using occasionally but at least 2 times per year AdButler since 2016 and didn't find any issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adbutler"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

Analytics Engine. The ability to see and analyse the audience very effectively. The templates, targets, media library and statistics are helpful. The Dashboard with Adrequests and the analysis is good. More graphs can be implemented just like Google Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

The dashboard can have more features. Take Google Analytics for example. The templates, targets, media library and statistics can be developed more. Many features of analysis are missing just like they are shown in the Google Analytics. The Dashboard with Adrequests and the analysis is good. More graphs can be implemented just like Google Analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome!"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

Excellent support that handles and resolves issues quick. The ease and flow of how the system effectively operates. Never any issues uploading images. The Media Library functions delightfully. Everything is satisfactory. I love it all keep doing what you are doing and you will go far! Absolutely easy to upload things into the media libary. So much better than Wordpress. The ease of access allows a smooth transition of advertisers and frequency so that everyone is equally shared throughout the engaged period of advertising. Many of our advertisers are happy about how well their ad shows in the system and that things load fast and efficently. Thank you for all the support you provide throughout the years I've had you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

Nothing at all, it's smooth. Rarely an outage. When there is an outage it might take a bit of time to understand the actual problem. Most of the time it is a server problem that is fixed within a few moments. So no problem at all. Could hire some additional technical support people but everything seems to flow smooth and no problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I love it!"
5/5
What do you like best about AdButler?

The best thing about AdButler is the user interface. It is very intuitive and easy to learn without having to consult a bunch of help docs. I literally set up over 25 zones containing the ads of dozens of advertisers within the first day of using the product and without needing any help from the support desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdButler?

Over the past few years, there's been some occasional delays in service, but those problems have been very infrequent in the grand scheme of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
