Adaptive Security is the security layer for the AI era, protecting organizations and their employees from modern cyberattacks. AI has changed how every company works, and it's changed how every company gets attacked. Employees use AI tools IT doesn't know about. Attackers craft deepfakes, vishing calls, and spear phishing emails that get past filters. Adaptive addresses all of it in one unified platform: managing AI tool usage before it becomes a liability, training employees on the threats they'll actually face, simulating AI-powered attacks in a safe environment, and protecting the inbox and browser so threats never reach their intended targets. Because it's one platform, Adaptive develops a complete risk picture and uses it automatically, applying targeted training, attack simulations, real-time interventions, and policy controls to lower risk over time. More than 1,000 organizations run Adaptive to manage their human security program, and the company has raised $150M+ from investors including NVIDIA, Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, and Citi Ventures.

"Deepfake scenarios and easy custom content, no SCORM pain"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

The AI focused content is what changed things for us. Training is genuinely engaging rather than a click-through tick box exercise, and being able to generate our own deepfakes makes the threat feel real. Building custom content grounded in our own resources and branding is finally easy, with no SCORM imports to wrestle with, which our previous provider made practically impossible. Our users actually volunteer positive feedback about the training, which almost never happens with security awareness content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

Very little. The main thing on my wishlist is broader API coverage. The current endpoints work, but more would let us integrate Adaptive properly into our own tooling and reporting rather than treating it as a separate system. I understand this is on the roadmap, so it feels more like waiting than a real complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most security awareness training fails because nobody engages with it, and generic modules do not prepare people for AI enabled social engineering and the threats we're seeing today. Adaptive lets us build content on our own resources and branding and run deepfake scenarios that show people what modern attacks look like. The programme takes far less effort to maintain and people actually engage with it, so we get behaviour change rather than just completion rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, startup-friendly security learning with AI-assisted course creation"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

Adaptive makes course creation easy with AI, and the training content is current and modern, especially around AI and security. The platform is intuitive to use, and the phishing triage capabilities for email threats add practical value. It is especially helpful for startups because it simplifies course creation and management. The seamless Rippling and Drata integrations also make onboarding and compliance workflows easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I have not encountered any major issues so far. Additional reporting customization, more granular reporting filters, and further minor navigation refinements would be helpful as our program grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adaptive gives us an easy way to create and manage modern AI and security training without building every course from scratch. For a startup, the AI-assisted course creation and intuitive platform simplify administration. The phishing triage capabilities provide practical support for email security, while the Rippling and Drata integrations make employee onboarding and compliance workflows easier to manage. Overall, it provides strong value as a modern learning platform for AI-native companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Clear Step Up: Engaging Training and Strong Reporting"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

Moving to Adaptive from our previous vendor was a clear step up in platform quality and ease of use. The training content is modern and actually engaging. It covers AI powered threats like deepfakes and voice scams, not just the same phishing modules everyone has seen a dozen times. The reporting also gives me the visibility I need into where we stand without digging for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

Not much to complain about so far. I would like to see more options for benchmarking our results against industry peers so I can put our numbers in context. That would be a nice addition but it has not slowed us down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had outgrown our previous security awareness platform and needed something built for how fast social engineering attacks are evolving. Attackers are using AI to generate convincing phishing emails, voice scams, and deepfakes, and our old training content was not keeping pace with any of that. Adaptive fills that gap. Our team trains on realistic simulations across email, text, and voice instead of the same recycled modules, and employees actually engage with the content instead of clicking through it. The reporting shows me where our risk sits by department and channel, which makes it easy to target follow up training where it matters. The biggest benefit is that leadership now has real confidence that we are prepared for sophisticated attacks rather than just checking a compliance box for auditors. "Modern UI, Innovative AI Features, and Fantastic Support"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

It has a modern UI and is easy to use. It also includes a lot of genuinely innovative features that I haven’t seen in other products. The whole team at Adaptive is cutting-edge when it comes to trying new things and rolling out training for new attack vectors, like deepfakes. Their use of AI to make the platform more effective and automated is something I haven’t seen in any other product before.

Also, their support has been fantastic since we signed with them almost a year and a half ago. You can always get someone to talk to. We get insights into new products, training on new products, and they regularly ask for feedback on how we like the products. Most importantly, our feedback is heard and integrated into the product.

Additionally, the level of integrations, at least for our use case, has no gaps. We can integrate all our HR systems, our identity providers, and supplement the system with information to tailor specifically fishing simulations and make them more targeted.

We haven't seen any performance issues with the platform as we scaled across our workforce. We are a medium-sized company, so I can't talk about large companies, but I wouldn't expect any issues there. Pricing is extremely good value for money, considering how much you pay per user and what you are getting in return. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

While the platform is excellent, there are a couple of areas where we would like to see further development:

Deeper SIEM/SOAR Integration: To better streamline our incident response and security workflows, we would appreciate deeper, more native integration capabilities with existing SIEM and SOAR tools.

Granular Admin Access Controls: The administrative panel could be improved by introducing more granular, role-based access controls (RBAC). Having more precise control over admin permissions would make it easier to co-manage the platform across different internal teams safely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Adaptive, we run our social engineering and phishing simulation campaigns fully automated across the workforce. We get all the telemetry and reporting we need, and there’s very little hands-on effort required to keep these campaigns running. Overall, the process is highly automated. They also recently launched a new feature, AutoPhish, which makes phishing even more targeted to each specific user and helps reduce the risk of stale simulation template materials.

The available API also allows us to pull all the numbers and do our own reporting. However, the built-in reporting is pretty good and has evolved over the time that we have been with them and should serve most companies well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adaptive Security Delivers Continuous Risk Visibility and Faster Response"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

What I like most about Adaptive Security is the continuous identifying of risk, prioritizing what matters, and responding faster than traditional tools. Some of the tools include the following:

Continuous threat detection and risk visibility: Instead of one time checks, Adaptive keeps monitoring signals to spot suspicious behavior and emerging threats.

Automation for investigation and response: Helps reduce analyst workload by triaging alerts, correlating events, and suggesting or executing next steps.

Context-aware findings: Not just “something is wrong,” but more actionable insights (why it’s likely an issue, affected assets, and recommended remediation).

Reporting and compliance support: Dashboards and audit ready outputs that help show security posture over time and support governance requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

My only dislike was the whitelisting process. Since we use Barracuda and Microsoft 365, we ran into some challenges ensuring everything was whitelisted correctly in both systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

One major benefit is that when our environment experiences multiple instances of the same type of phishing attempt, Adaptive allows us to remove them in just a few clicks. This saves time and enables our team to start analysis much sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Responsive Team, Excellent Training, and Realistic Phishing, Vishing, Deepfake Simulations"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

The team is responsive, flexible and willing to work with us on contract terms and implementation. They have comprehensive and interesting infosec training content that our users actually enjoy watching. The realistic and customized phishing, vishing, and deepfake campaigns are excellent. The tool is also easy to set up and configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

The onboarding process could have been more in depth in terms of reviewing and understanding the platform and all the features available to us, so we are still exploring the full feature set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Preparing employees for AI-powered social engineering attacks, running realistic phishing simulations that measure our readiness, and helping us build a proactive security culture through education and testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Training and a Favorite Phishing Alert Button"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

The phishing alert button is one of our favorites, and employees find it easy to use. Employees are actually completing the training instead of just clicking through it. Overall, everything has been going really well, and we’re very happy with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

More healthcare-specific phishing templates would strengthen our program. I’d also appreciate more detailed, department-level tracking for training progress so it’s easier to see how each team is doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a security awareness platform that employees would actually engage with, and Adaptive has delivered. Adaptive's PAB makes reporting straightforward, and the training thresholds help drive completion. Our team is actively participating in the security awareness program, and we’re already seeing results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generative AI Phishing Training That Feels Built for Today’s Threats"

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

We've evaluated several security awareness and phishing training platforms over the years, and Adaptive Security stands out because it feels like it was built for today's threat landscape rather than yesterday's.

The biggest differentiator is the generative AI capabilities. Instead of relying on the same static phishing templates and generic training modules that many legacy platforms use, Adaptive Security can generate highly realistic, relevant simulations that reflect the types of attacks employees are actually encountering. This keeps the training fresh, engaging, and much more effective because users aren't simply memorizing the same scenarios over and over.

Another area where Adaptive Security excels is personalization. The AI-driven content feels significantly more dynamic than traditional awareness platforms, allowing us to deliver training that is more realistic and better aligned with current attack techniques. As phishing, business email compromise, and social engineering attacks continue to evolve, having a platform that can quickly adapt instead of waiting for content updates is a major advantage.

The user interface is modern and intuitive, making administration straightforward while providing a great experience for end users. Campaign creation, reporting, and ongoing program management require far less effort than with many legacy security awareness products.

What I appreciate most is that Adaptive Security isn't just another phishing simulation tool. It's leveraging generative AI to fundamentally improve how organizations prepare employees for real-world threats. If you're looking to move beyond traditional, template-based security awareness training, Adaptive Security is well worth considering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

There isn't much to dislike so far. If I had to point to one area, I'd like to see continued expansion of reporting and customization options as the platform matures. The core functionality and AI capabilities have been excellent, and the product is evolving quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adaptive Security has significantly reduced the time required to manage our security awareness program by automating phishing simulations, training, and campaign management. Compared to our previous solution, we've gained more actionable reporting and better visibility into user risk, allowing us to measure program effectiveness and focus our efforts where they're needed most. The generative AI capabilities also enable more realistic and relevant training, helping improve employee readiness while reducing administrative overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Performance, Polished UI/UX, and Responsive Support"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

All of their features work as expected, without issues or any unexpected gotchas. They genuinely listen to user feedback and act on it, which helps the platform fit real user needs. On the rare occasions when I’ve needed help, the support has been timely and knowledgeable. Overall, using the platform has been a great experience. They have spent considerable time working to refine their UI/UX, improve their integration offerings, and utilize the emerging benefits of AI in this space. Performance and pricing have been excellent across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I don’t have any real complaints, but there are a couple of minor inconveniences worth noting. The main ones are a few customization limitations in the build process for custom-built training, and the fact that not all features are currently available via the API. Neither of these is anywhere close to a dealbreaker, and I’ve been able to work around them successfully without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adaptive Security solving and how is that benefiting you?

Various training creation and deployment, phishing campaigns, and phishing triage would be the main things currently, but their offerings are about to notably expand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5

What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

The training content is engaging, modern, and relevant and the AI-powered phishing simulations feel realistic.

The platform was easy to set up and manage from day one and a noticeable step up from our previous security awareness solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
