After rolling out Manufacturing, we created dashboards that show our line efficiency, allowing us to review our BOMs and evaluate accuracy in labor, which helps us decide on necessary changes. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** Right now WMS is below par - we need to implement another software to be able to do license plating, freeze locations, do cycle counting etc. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** Acumatica centralizes all our data, automates processes, and allows real-time notifications and updates through business events. Although there are external systems that can be bolted on to handle this, it would be better if this was native functionality in the tool. There are two major things the current system doesn't handle well. The first is multi-level BOMs. Being able to create BOMs with configurations and stack them on top of each other to create a larger product, while maintaining the ability to configure each subassembly on a sales order or quote is key. The second is the ability to integrate with CAD systems like SolidWorks, where engineers build their models that house the rules for how to update the BOMs as configurations change. I think Velixo is genius and a perfect pairing to get the data out of Acumatica in a form everyone in our company can use without having to change the way they work. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** We struggle with revenue projections because we can't group projects together as a program, or create subtasks. We can't use the inventory IDs efficiently for our business. Because we are locked into using the inventory IDs for projecting revenue, we can't get the granularity we need. If we create too many tasks, our guys in the field and in engineering spend too much time on their time cards. The initial setup was awful. Our first partner was not helpful. I wish Production Orders had a similar functionality to Engineering Workbench, or were easier to update. Right now if I need to shift a material from one work center to another, I have to delete it out of one work center, and add it to a second. In Engineering Workbench, I can drag and drop this item between work centers. Not easy at all, we had a lot of background work to do on our existing data and make sure it was in the system before we went live. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** Acumatica accurately groups projects, maintains revision control, and keeps an accessible interface. CADLink reduces data entry time drastically, and the Engineering Workbench helps modify Bills of Material. This is a significant time saver. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** The Fixed Asset module in Acumatica doesn't have Equipment Management capabilities, which is frustrating for us as a civil contractor with a fleet of heavy equipment. We need cost and revenue information for each piece of equipment, but the module doesn't support this need. It would be great to have an Equipment Management module to capture repairs and maintenance costs from accounts payable, depreciation from fixed assets, and equipment hours/revenues that have been applied to projects. Each department can have their own dashboards and GI views that are relevant to them, which is very helpful. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** Inventory management could be better like with NetStock. Also have had a lot of Accounting issues since launch in terms of posting financials. Initial setup was difficult. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Acumatica for ERP and CRM. It helps with quote followup, lead close tracking, and maintaining consistency across the sales floor. I appreciate the customizability of screens and the ability to report on almost all metrics, which allows each department to have relevant dashboards and views. ### 50. Our project managers, sales reps, and operations team can all see and utilize the information placed in the system, which is really helpful. The learning process was fast and quick for us, which was a big advantage too. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** I wish it could scan items with a scanner into our inventory. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Acumatica for inventory and order processing. It solves issues with finding inventory and creating POs.
