What do you like best?

Acumatica is a comprehensive cloud-based ERP system which offers a large number of tools and automated features that aim to improve and control the workflow of your organization from a single point, among the most positive points of Acumatica we find the number of methods it offers for costing, an interface with extremely simple navigation, powerful tools for reporting with high degrees of accuracy, a browser-based application that facilitates the use of mobile devices, is a very flexible software that easily adapts to any type of organization to conclude the software also gives you capabilities such as visualization of CRM data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Acumatica can be complicated software the costs of the licenses, the costs of the plans are confusing and expensive, I would like that they simplified a little more the personalization of the end user, it is not the most intelligent software to manage investments, it has scarce options of support and many of the tools that this program offers have certain level of difficulty, it needs to have more integrations to improve the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Several modules critical to business are integrated in the software.

Among them, It's Warehouse Management System (WMS) has been mostly popular due to its ability to automate the Shipping, Packaging and Receiving of goods in the Inventory.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it has been observed that some process/business flow are having performance impact (slow) while dealing with enormous of data. It is well suited for small business. Not recommended for large-scale business to incorporate it.

Acumatica has helped us have more visibility into our processes and transactions. It is very easy to use and has tons of out-of-the-box features that we love. It's also very customizable and the general inquiry screens are amazing. The ability to set up new reports and general inquiry screens has been incredibly useful and so far we are extremely pleased with the system. We also really appreciate the help menu and how detailed each of the user guides are - it makes answering our own questions and understanding the system and processes that much easier. What do you like best?

As an ERP developer I like best the easy ability to develop customizations that fit our unique needs. Either directly and quickly through the user interface or through our extension project with C#. It is very easy to jump online and offer our employees assistance when and where it is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The development experience can be slower than preferred if the dev environment is not in a dedicated dev environment. If a new developer has to just jump in and start developing there are a lot of pre req's that need to be met and that can often take a whole day or two. Another thing is that if an issue that is discovered requires a site's customization project to be re-published, that has to wait for off-hours because it restarts the whole site. Some of the issues that need to be fixed this way are usually small issues, but they can cause serious workflow issues and having to wait until off hours to fix them is a little annoying. What do you like best?

I have previously represented the Sage channel for over 25 years and was wowwed the very first moment I saw Acumatica. A great many things that I previously had to piece together from a jigsaw puzzle of third part vendors to complete the ERP solution, and which did or did not integrate to varying degrees, was out-of-the-box with Acumatica. The first demo I watched was for field service, something near and dear to my heart, and which I always felt was a compromise with Sage. Sure there was a very strong ISV that was 100% focused on the vertical, but it was still another product and development and therefore releases were not always available when customers were ready for or needed to upgrade. Acumatica eliminated those problems for me and I can be assured that the Acumatica service edition, certainly on par with the dedicated ISV solution would work with the core ERP and would not leave me scrambling and coordinating with vendors around the globe. What do you like best?

Ease of use, ability to get the data and make custom reports. import scenarios are easy to use yet powerful.

Exporting report in excel is a breeze. we can update the reports using the power quarry.

Support. it very hard to get support and it takes time. we have to be on the new version to get the support. there was a lot of customization done in order to meet the business requirement and now if we upgrade we have to redo the customization. if we don't update then we don't get any support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Acumatica is highly flexible and easy to customize which helps quickly figure out what works and what doesn't. It's convenient to use on the go through its mobile application which makes it perfect for remote working. Powerful reporting is easy to manage with a simple data integration and the outputs can be conveniently exported in a tabular format for further analysis. The UI is streamlined and sleek, making it easy to navigate. The product documentation is informative and the platform boasts a powerful API that can be easily integrated with other applications in your organization's ecosystem. What do you like best?

Acumatica is great for keeping track of our financials. The amount of costing methods is excellent, and the reports that our team can create are helpful. Since our team uses this for construction, project setup is reasonably easy for us. The customization of dashboards and GI tables gives us the ability to tailor the application to our team's needs. The operations team is able to navigate the desktop and mobile app with only a few hiccups. When the mobile app is working correctly, the ability to enter expenses on the go has been great. With the different approval settings available, getting expenses in the system is fast. This has helped our accounting team greatly, as they have been able to close out the monthly books quicker than they ever have before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The construction management side of the software is not perfect. There are a lot of areas that still need improvement. The field service tool is one of those areas. The field report section is not all there yet. The ease of entering information is not great. In a field service tool, team members need to be able to quickly enter information and reference their logs. Coming from Procore, this service is severely lacking. The mobile app can be clunky at times. We have had many issues with team members being unable to access certain areas of the application, as well as having issues with getting into the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have solved the problem of our ops team not having direct access to financials. Acumatica allows our team members to be involved in the financial aspects of a project. What do you like best?

The accounting side of Acumatica is very strong. The inventory management is pretty easy to navigate and we appreciate the abilities to have pop-up notes attached to products and vendors. Vendor-management is also easy to navigate. We have a lot of moving parts and connect it to Magento through an .api built by our Acumatica partner, EIS. We have worked all of the bugs out to this point and are doing well. We also just added Fusion for our point-of-sale solution and are please so far. We are still working through that change and the hiccups as we literally turned it on a week ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We have not been happy with the ability to built coupons/discounts or point-of-sale. Because of the multiple units of measure (UOMs), we were forced to just one option for POS, but after they added the ability to manage the multiple UOMs, Fusion is a good option. Acumatica's focus is accounting and so you need your support to be accounting-strong and if you don't have that, you will have a hard time. Direct Acumatica support is extremely slow to act. It took a month on our last question, but if your support team is strong, you won't hopefully need to go direct to Acumatica. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The old ERP system we used was old-school, old technology. Acumatica is quick, new GIs (general inquiries or reports) are easy to build with some support. The ease of logging in from literally anywhere makes work and collaboration much smoother. We were tied to our desks before. We are able to use tablets in our warehouse to pull orders rather than printing paper docs and checking them off, then going back to the computer. What do you like best?

Acumatica is first a platform... meaning it is highly configurable and can be customized rapidly. Second, it has an amazing partner ecosystem supported by a very hands on Acumatica support team who solves problems, not just pointing you to documentation.

Acumatica solves our business problems by empowering us to work the way our business operates - not according to software rails.

What do you dislike?

To many ways of doing something is great! But can also lead to confusion... it takes effort and hands on use of product to get larger teams aligned on process.

Reporting has been a challenge... many of the canned reports are like what we were used to in our legacy application. End users will have a steep learning curve to create new reports and will most likely need the help of an Acumatica partner to get your report sets established. What do you like best?

It is very easy to use, dont need technical background or knowledge to fully exploit its capabilities. I love Open University, I can train myself without paying a lot of consultant hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This has been a great experience. Our previous ERP was limited to the reporting we could do and the user interface was not very friendly. What do you like best?

Our controller likes the way that the accounting side is set up but I don't have much experience with that (I am mostly working in the order entry and shipping side.). Accounting, inventory, order entry, and shipping all on one is nice.

I appreciate the ability to have multiple types of orders (sales order, return orders...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The order entry, shipping, and customer portal are all quite cumbersome. Their "device hub" software for printing does not work on Macs so it is an annoying process to print packing slips and shipping labels.

I wish all of the order entry fields were visible at once instead of having to go through different tabs.

Some of the international shipping carrier integrations generate forms that could cause customs problems, we have brought this up to Acumatica and they don't seem to understand or care that they are incorrect.

The auto packaging function only takes total volume into account, (not length, width, and height) which is not useful unless you are shipping water or something that will conform to the box size...

The customer portal is very rudimentary, basically just a catalog. You can't see a photo of the product until you actually click on it, which can be confusing if you have multiple products with similar SKUs like we do. What do you like best?

This ERP covers everything for our organization. From tracking shipments, to customer service cases, to production and everything in between. Supporting our users from an IT Management perspective, is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is your do-everything solution. Don't get stuck thinking this is only for one aspect of your business. This will help your business in every way. When you decide to make the move: Do your homework and get an integration partner. Plan out your processes ahead of time. If we hadn't done this, we would have been lost during implementation. What do you like best?

The best part about Acumatica for us was the ability to access the system from anywhere. We went live in late March of 2019, right at the height of the pandemic. Acumatica allowed us to easily transition our office staff to working remotely, which would not have been possible with our legacy system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is not much I can say I dislike. I could nitpick at a few minor features, but it would be doing a disservice to the platform. However, if I had to select one improvement I wish would be made, it would be the ability to generate production order from the inventory replenishment screen.
