Parents like the interface better and the updated, clean look is great. I like that we can use other forms of payment for our customers/parents. **What do you dislike about ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager?** There isn't much to dislike. They are fairly easy to understand. Mobile use is restricted. **Recommendations to others considering ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager:** If you want something that is pretty simple and easy to use this is the software for you. **What problems is ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Active Network for CC payments, online payments. Some parents don't like to pay with checks and or cash and only have a credit card so this is right up their alley. ### 3. It is great for organization through my lessons and keeping the activities interactive. **What do you dislike about ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager?** The active series has a very basic interface and there are many tools that are difficult to use if you have no experience with similar programs. **Recommendations to others considering ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager:** The active network has many benefits for presentation and links well with other Microsoft and Adobe programs. **What problems is ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** The active network has increased my classroom engagement. ### 4. For our Camp, we require extensive family medical history and information about the mental health of campers (minors) which is why security is a huge concern for our organization. Active provides us with a system that ensures that our camper families' information is protected. **What do you dislike about ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager?** The user interface and report system is clunky at best. It is frustratingly difficult to access the information you desire - either generating rosters or printing hard copies of your camper information. Because of limited access to the internet at our overnight campsite, we print out hard copies of all of our camper documents in case of emergency. With Active, this requires an excessive amount of hours to print and organization. **What problems is ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have camper families apply to our camp through Active. They submit simple demographic information and more extensive forms are uploaded: medical history, family medical history and mental health background. We use Active to manage our camper roster (accepting or rejecting campers) and following up with counselors/campers who have not yet uploaded the necessary documentation. As mentioned above Active provides a secure method for doing this. ### 5. I like how campers for each year can be easily found because of the great organization tools that active provides. There are also very easy to use tabs that allow users to navigate through each camper's file very seamlessly. Active also makes it easy for our organization to explain to our camper families how to easily navigate through the website in order to effectively upload their documents and submit their application. **What do you dislike about ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager?** At times, I have trouble logging into the site and it freezes my computer. There have also been other times that the website continues to load for up to 5 minutes and I have to log out and reload the page. Overall, aside from the sometimes trouble loading and issues with the site freezing my computer, this really is a great program that makes it easy for our organization to function effectively. **What problems is ACTIVEWorks Camp & Class Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization uses Active to not only serve as a place for our volunteers (counselors) to apply, but also a place for our campers to apply. Because we are an organization for children whose parents have cancer, the information that our families put into the Active system when they apply their children to be campers is extremely sensitive and private medical and family information. This is why it is so important that Active is as secure as it is, ### 6.
