I use ActiveWords mainly for text expansion—that is, typing an abbreviation and expanding it to a phrase or even a large block of text such as an email signature block—and automatic typo correction. The program's basic functions can be enhanced with many add-ins available at ActiveWords.com. The program also has a scripting language that increases its power. ActiveWorlds allows an end user to create their own three-dimensional world that is composed of Renderware RWX objects. Similar to the second life experience, users can generate and navigate through imaginative worlds. It's not the most ideal solution for Architecture design, however it is great for collaboration in designs.

Renderware objects are quite outdated and setting up a world from scratch requires quite a bit of overhead (huge file share required).
