ActiveWords is a really useful autocorrect tool that saves time by turning shortcuts into full phrases. It helps speed up typing, especially when you’re doing repetitive tasks or writing long messages. The best part is how you can customize it to fit your own needs, making it super easy to use. The least helpful part of ActiveWords is that it can take some time to set up all the shortcuts if you have a lot of custom phrases. What problems is ActiveWords solving and how is that benefiting you? For us, it solves the problem of repetitive typing by allowing you to create custom shortcuts for phrases and commands. This boosts productivity by saving time and reducing the effort needed for tasks like writing emails or filling out forms. The best thing i like as someone who uses it regularly is - the ability to open URLs directly - You can browse and open files by just typing initial letters - Also includes pictures and rtf. I have to write emails and internal documents in over 30 languages and it helps out a bunch, to an extent we have included it in our official workflow to use it. This software is very helpful when one is performing same kind of tasks such as email support or filling the same kind of data as it saves time by not repeating the same things. The shortcuts can be aligned in such a way that they can be accessed from one place altogether. ActiveWorlds allows an end user to create their own three-dimensional world that is composed of Renderware RWX objects. Similar to the second life experience, users can generate and navigate through imaginative worlds. What do you dislike about ActiveWords? It's not the most ideal solution for Architecture design, however it is great for collaboration in designs. Renderware objects are quite outdated and setting up a world from scratch requires quite a bit of overhead (huge file share required). The worlds themselves foster creativity in architecture, however it can be used just as a virtual training room where users can collaborate with three-dimensional avatars.
