"Makes automation accessible to anyone at any level - so much easier!"

What do you like best about Activepieces?

I like how intuitive Active Pieces is when creating flows. I also like the price point compared to competitors in the automation space and the number of tasks you get is amazing at this price point. Also the fact that Active Pieces is Open Source is a huge selling point for us as transparency and authenticity is a huge factor when deciding a company to invest in. What do you dislike about Activepieces?

Hopefully just a matter of time, but more integrations are required for Active Pieces to fulfill our workflow needs, however they do have an API and Webhooks so with the right know-how most integrations are already available, but would like the process to be fast and as simple as possible to free up resources else where. "A new name in the automation game"

What do you like best about Activepieces?

Activepieces har got this clean, no-nonsense interface that takes complex automation and makes it feel like second nature. Support has been good too.

Their templates are top-notch, especially the latest ones for ChatGPT. Triggers? They've got them by the minute, hour, day—you name it. Diving into it, there's no need for a map or instructions. I just started poking around the templates and before I knew it, my workflow was running itself. It's that straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

Their integrations are a bit on the lean side. Still, what I need is there, and I'm on the edge of my seat for what's next. More integrations and more templates is coming, so it will be fun to see if they can match the likes of Zapier etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Activepieces - an emerging player in automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Activepieces?

I love that Activepieces offer various complicated features for automation with a very simple and intuitive interface.

I also like that Activepieces has a lot of great "templates" for the automations. The newly added ones regarding ChatGPT are simply super handy.

Activepieces also have great triggers like timing trigger, such as Every hour, Every Day, Every minute etc.

And the user experience is smooth and convenient. I don't really need specific guide, just exploring templates and I have been able to create the "flows" to automate my workflow with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

The integrations can definitely be better. Currently the apps integrated into Activepieces are limited, and the speed of apps integration can be faster. Anyway, most of the apps I need are there now and I am excitedly waiting for new integrations to come in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best API / Automation Tool out"
5/5
What do you like best about Activepieces?

The completely customizable and fluid builder. The Code module is great and much better than Zapier. This took me less than an hour to rebuild everything I had in Zapier. The Community is second to none and it is very easy to install via docker on Windows 11, Asustor NAS, QNAP Nas, and in the cloud.

For us we process over 5000 runs a day, so it was getting incredibly expensive on zapier for my small business, ActivePieces has given us a cost effective way to automate everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

Limited connections, sometimes slow interface, and difficult Piece building process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automating Automation."

What do you like best about Activepieces?

They are automating automation by developing automations using A.I. -- this enables them to grow fast and one day perhaps match Zapier/Make in terms of total working connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

not enough working pieces to do everything you want when they do support an app. Like they may have 200ish apps connected but you also may have to get dirty with coding to make the API action you want to occur in the connected app by creating a piece. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Learning Curve for Complex Workflows: Although it is a no-code platform, creating and managing more complex workflows can still be challenging for some users, requiring time and practice to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"About time that workflow automation goes open source!"
5/5
What do you like best about Activepieces?

Activepieces first came on my radar via Hacker News in early 2023, I immediately starred them on GitHub and have been following their progress ever since.

Admittedly I haven't had much of a chance to make use of it until recently, but this weekend I worked on a small personal project which required some automation, and Activepieces immediately sprung to mind. I got set up on their Cloud version and managed to get my workflow sorted in minutes - no Docs or tutorials required. Connecting to external tools was as easy as clicking a few buttons.

I also love the fact that I can self host this and use it for free if I needed to. Zapier and others are incredibly expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

Given how young this project is, the experience isn't as polished as some of the more established vendors. Would love a dark mode, as well as the ability to view the workflows horizontally as well as vertically. Oh, and more connectors are always welcome :)

That being said, it's only a matter of time until Ashraf and the team catch up given the rapid pace of development and innovation. Excited to see great things from you guys over the next few years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Activepieces: A Hands-On Review of the Open Source Automation Gem with Room to Grow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Activepieces?

The best thing about Activepieces is its user-friendly interface. It's just so easy to set up and manage workflows without needing to be a tech wizard. The integrations are another huge plus – being able to connect all my apps and services smoothly is a game-changer.

Most helpful is definitely the community support. Having access to a group of users and developers on Discord means I can get answers and share ideas quickly, which is super helpful when I’m stuck or looking to do something new.

The upsides are the open-source nature, the fair pricing, and the innovative use of AI. It feels good to have control, knowing I can host it myself and not worry about unexpected costs. And the AI features are a big bonus, especially for scaling up content and automating complex tasks efficiently.

Using Activepieces just makes the whole automation process more efficient and less of a headache. It's reliable, intuitive, and backed by a great community – that's a winning combo in my book! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

It's a lesser-known tool compared to giants like Zapier, it may not always have the same level of third-party support or an extensive library of pre-built 'Zaps' or automations that can save time during setup.

So while Activepieces is powerful and cost-effective, there's a balance to be struck considering the community support structure, learning curve for advanced features, and the breadth of pre-built integrations compared to some of its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation Redundancy"
4/5
What do you like best about Activepieces?

We appreciate that the interface of Activepieces is similar to other applications we are currently using. This prevents us from having to invest time and effort into learning a completely new user interface. This made our implemention of the application a smoother experience for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Activepieces?

One of the aspects that disappoints us the most about Activepieces is the limited number of templates available. The interface feels like there should be a wider range of templates to select from in order to kickstart our automation flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
