"An unbeatable automation tool to grow your marketing business."
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

The tool helps you automate your entire marketing process, whether it’s content strategy, extracting insights from a specific campaign, or setting up brand kits for your emails. I don’t think there’s anything to dislike; I appreciate everything from uploading contacts to the AI and automation features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

There is nothing specific to dislike, as the pricing and limitations are transparent. By upgrading the plan, we were able to use all the features without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich ActiveCampaign with Rock-Solid Uptime, Integrations, and Support"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign offers a wide variety of features - as well as the ability to connect through APIs, making it easy to integrate data from proprietary systems as well as services like Slack and Google Docs.

We use it for housing PII, as well as for newsletters and outreach. We have also used Deals to track our leads and their status - from initial outreach to onboarding to our services. We use automations to create onboard reminders, using tags and field status to track their progress.

We've been extraordinarily satisfied with the uptime of Active Campaign, as well as our reps and support when we've had questions about custom integrations through the API.

The new AI tools have been useful to help us keep track of ways we can improve our newsletters, and from the beginning, the ability to have AC find the best time to drop a newsletter has been fantastic. From beginning to end, I would recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I'm not very enthusiastic about some of the recent UX changes to ActiveCampaign. I feel it's made it harder to find existing features, and sometimes the AI interface causes searches from the search bar to redirect. This does impact time to complete projects, unfortunately. "Good Email Blast Scheduling but still a few quirks with their website form options"
4/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

That I can schedule email blasts out and specify the audience and time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I do not like the AI integration. It's like every email I start, I'm being forced to say I want to NOT use it. Why does it have to default to using it? Not everyone does. It's rather annoying. Another item is your website forms options. Having the form maker is great but why is it when you get responses back, it shows EVERY question you ever used on other forms in the emailed form responses? It's cumbersome and confusion to know if the participant completed it correctly or not. Another item is that why is it that when someone completes a form and they go to the list we designate, we not all of them show up on the list? They filled out the form, so why do I have to select ANY in the dropdown just to see everyone? It also would be nice if I clicked on the name on the list and can see the actual form responses and not just go to their contact record. Not very convenient when I want to refer back to a specific response to their registration form. Ifyou can fix/improve your form area, that would entice me to use it more. "Game-Changer for Powerful Email Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign has been a game-changer for my email marketing. The email automation is incredibly powerful — I can set up complex sequences with ease, and the visual automation builder makes it simple to map out exactly how I want to communicate with my audience. It saves me hours every week and helps me stay consistent with my outreach. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to level up their email marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The learning curve can be a bit steep at first — there are so many features that it takes some time to figure out where everything is. Pricing can also add up as your contact list grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Active Campaign makes my job a lot easier!"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

Active Campaign's email marketing system allows me to use one email to target multiple different target markets but using conditions uniquely. This saves me sooo much time, as I use Active Campaign multiple times a week. Although, since it has been updated I'm having trouble adding multiple sets of conditions in one email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

It'd be ideal if videos could play directly in the email without redirecting to another platform. I'd also prefer if I could link emails to a campaign so I can track them easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best marketing automation software I have used"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

It’s very easy to use—intuitive, simple, and friendly to work with. I also like the interface design; it’s clean and cool. There’s something about it that motivates me to keep working with it. I also can’t believe how easy the automations are, and how well guided the setup feels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Sometimes I run into issues with font formatting. I’ve also had problems with emails sent through a form automation, which often end up in the spam folder. But, every time I have an issue, the team is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Modular Email Builder—AI Features Still Maturing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

The email builder is easy to use and very flexible. It's easy to make an attractive email with calls to action, links to our website, etc. Also very modular so you can build emails precisely the way you want Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The AI functionality is interesting but not always useful. AI creative elements are pretty rough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Well-organized platform with excellent support: a must-have for email marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

At Active Campaign, we appreciate order and immediacy, always available assistance (we have had requests promptly handled by the team), and the simplicity in managing contacts and creating emails. The ability to obtain the HTML copy of the email or parts of it is priceless: in this way, even when we forget to create templates, we can replicate any part of the emails that have worked in just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The inability to stay logged in on the platform: every time we access, we need a confirmation code, and in the long run, this is an annoyance (even though we know that two-factor authentication protects us). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Newsletter and CRM Performance"
4/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

Its ease of use and ability to centralize communication. It allows us to create campaigns quickly, manage our audience in one place, and track engagement, which improves efficiency and consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

One of the main limitations is the design flexibility within the email builder. While it’s functional, it can feel somewhat restrictive when trying to create more modern, visually distinctive newsletters. This makes it harder to fully align communications with a strong brand identity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
