"Very Poor Customer Service."

What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

easy to program automations and design campaigns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Customer Support is very bad. Imposible to contact them for simple things as increasing the limit of contacts from 5000 to 7500. Even though there is an automatic feature to do this on the system, the automatic feature is calculating pricing wrongly and then you can´t get a response fro Active Campaign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Campaigns and Automations with Truly Helpful Chat Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I find it easy to generate campaigns or automations. I also like how easy it is to sort contacts or remove them. And I have used the chat feature when I need help and they have been really helpful. For someone who doesn’t know much about computers I have been able to navigate it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

My virtual assistant says that linking to other things can sometimes be a challenge, but I think it’s just because she isn’t familiar with the platform yet. Even so, she always figures it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Marketing with Powerful Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I use ActiveCampaign for automating my marketing campaigns and managing my sales funnel, which keeps my leads sorted so I can focus on priority ones first. I appreciate the ability to automate sales follow-ups and send automated marketing messages easily. The user interface is very sorted, making it straightforward to automate workflows with just a few clicks. I like that I can integrate automation from various sources in one place, like landing page leads and direct inquiries. My favorite feature is audience segmentation and personalization; it lets me segment contacts based on behavior, interests, and engagement, so I can send highly targeted campaigns instead of generic templates to each segment. The initial setup was easy, which I found quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

It has a steep learning curve and the user interface can be more simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like a native integration to ZoomInfo. I think that would be very cool and really streamline our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, organized clinic follow ups and health communication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

As a Dietician, Nutritionist, and health content creator, I often need to send regular wellness tips, diet updates, or educational content to patients and subscribers. ActiveCampaign helps me do this easily and professionally.

I create simple campaigns like weekly wellness tips, and the platform makes it smooth to organize contacts, set up messages, and send them all at once. The email editor is easy to use—even without any tech skills. I can add images, reports, or basic health charts, which helps when explaining topics like cholesterol or heart health.

The ability to schedule emails, track opens, and keep messages saved as drafts is really useful, especially when I’m busy with clinic work or preparing teaching material. I’ve also used the automation tools a bit, which help keep things consistent without needing to log in every day.

it's a good tool for anyone who needs to share useful information regularly, especially in healthcare or education fields. It saves time and adds a professional touch to simple health communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Basic users like me, some of the advanced automation and campaign tools feel a little complicated at first. It takes some time to understand which features are really needed. Also, for small-scale use like in a clinic or for simple educational updates, the pricing could be a bit more affordable or offer a lighter plan. But once you get used to it, the core features work smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Email Automation with Balanced CRM"
4/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I really like the visual automation builder in ActiveCampaign. It's excellent for creating flowcharts where I can chain triggers, conditions, and actions, and visually see the paths that each contact will take. The integration of CRM and email features is seamless, allowing me to create automations based on deal stage or tags without leaving the platform, which significantly improves follow-up time. The solid API and webhook support stand out as well, making it easy to engineer integrations without the need to write custom email code. It allows the marketing team to move quickly without depending too much on the engineering team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The interface can feel cluttered, with a lot of menus and overlapping feature names, making it hard for new team members to navigate. Reporting isn't as flexible as we'd like, and custom report exporting often means hacking with the API. Pricing scales quickly as the contact list grows, which can be painful if there are many inactive contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered Marketing Automation That Streamlines Our Entire Campaign Workflow"
4/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

Active Campaign is a full stack AI-powered marketing automation suite for our marketing department. From onboarding, the inbuilt AI automatically tracks and pulls branding and content from the website and creates the required campaigns, which is insane. The dark bluish design is very modern and appealing for daily usage. The starter plan is very cost-effective to get into the ecosystem and see the benefits.

It also has a robust App Directory for integrating all the current marketing stack we use on a daily basis. Since all the crucial features like email campaign, reports, SMS, WhatsApp, automation, Website, and form are all in the same dashboard panel, it saves a lot of time eliminating switching between too many tabs, which increases performance and operations by 5x for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

While the platform is robust overall, accessing features like the website, reports, or even automation can feel a bit slow. It often takes a few seconds to load properly, and that ends up wasting crucial time, even if it’s only around 5 seconds per action. Over time, these lagging loading screens add up and reduce our overall speed and efficiency.

The Generative AI features are very good, but you can’t really use them instantly without manually adjusting and fixing the content. It also requires a lot of context in the prompt to get an accurate output, so you have to be quite specific when writing it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"For me, the best email marketing tool that is suitable for all use cases."
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I love the flexibility and versatility that ActiveCampaign offers for campaigns and for very specific conditions. For me, templates allow emails to be created and set up quickly and easily or copied from existing campaigns. The basic setup with all settings was also comparatively simple. This way, many external tools can also be integrated and linked together without any problems to automate processes to the maximum. The support is also very fast and always has a good solution ready. We use the tool daily and I can really recommend it with a clear conscience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

At the beginning, I needed a little moment to familiarize myself with the software and all its possibilities and settings, but many things are self-explanatory and intuitive to find here as well. It would be desirable to have the addition of SMS marketing, but maybe that will come in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for automations and staying organised"
4/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign has honestly just made things easier for me. It’s simple to use so setting stuff up doesn’t feel like a massive task. The automations save me so much time because once they’re live they just do their thing in the background. I like that I can make emails look good and still feel personal without overthinking every detail. Since using it I’ve seen better conversions and the analytics actually make sense which helps me know what’s working. It’s a big part of how I run my business and support clients now and I recommend it all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign is still a good platform but I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the recent updates. It feels way more AI heavy now and a bit less human, which isn’t really how I like to work. The new layout has taken some getting used to as well, it just doesn’t feel as straightforward as it used to and I find myself clicking around trying to find things that were once really obvious. I get that platforms have to evolve, but I definitely preferred the older version. Still use it, still think it’s powerful, just hoping they don’t lose the simplicity it used to have. "Powerful Automation, Intuitive Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I use ActiveCampaign for email marketing, customer relationship management, and marketing automation. I appreciate its powerful automation features combined with an easy-to-use interface. It allows me to create personalized customer journeys and automate repetitive tasks. The platform's flexibility and reliability, along with its many customization options for campaigns, automations, and audience segmentation, stand out to me. The automation features save a significant amount of time while keeping communication consistent and personalized. I find the customization aspect beneficial as it allows me to tailor campaigns, automations, and audience segments to specific goals, helping me to send more relevant messages targeting the right users. The initial setup was very easy, intuitive, and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

What I dislike most about ActiveCampaign is the learning curve for some advanced features, especially automation and reporting tools, which can take time to fully understand. Certain sections may also feel complex at first. A more intuitive interface and simpler navigation would make the platform even easier, faster, and more user-friendly.
