I use ActiveCampaign Postmark for sending transactional emails and appreciate how it solved issues of deliverability and setup. The simplicity of getting an SMTP server set up for my domain is fantastic, allowing me to get a server up in minutes rather than hours, which is game-changing. The email activity log is great as it lets me see what is happening with an email and helps diagnose deliverability issues. The overall simplicity was the key reason for switching from SendGrid, as we needed something simpler. The speed in which Postmark sends emails is astonishing, much better than any service we tested. I've started recommending my clients Postmark after trying a lot of email providers. Postmark is a small company yet one of the best in the transactional email world! The setup process, stats for emails and user interface are minimal yet do a great job. It has plugins for WordPress which uses API to send emails rather than SMTP connections. This is a better way to send emails because, SMTP uses a synchronous connection and REST API is an Async. This way they are able to deliver super fast email service. Most of the transactional emails like order information, login details, contact us messages and most day to day messages go through the postmark service. They also offers credits for bootstrapped start-ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign Postmark? Customer support is great but not the best! They take time to respond like 24 hours or so. I wish they had a 24 hours service. Also pricing is a bit premium but well worth the price and the smooth service they offer. The problem with most email providers is that once they are abused by spammers, the recipient email providers put them on a blacklist and don't accept any emails from that service provider. It's a great SMTP provider that is easy to setup as well as great delivery and clean IPs on top of that postmark also has a DMARC reporting tool which I like and recommend to any begginer or non-techy person out there. Postmark has come to change the way we send confirmation and transactional emails to our users. Purchase confirmation emails, user activation, and purchase reminders (you name them) ended up in the spam section, bounced or in the promotional folder of our clients. Thanks to Postmark, these emails arrive promptly and when users need them. ActiveCampaign Postmark has helped our sales, shipping, logistics, and other essential user notifications reach their inboxes without having to go through the hassle of getting them in the spam folder or getting lost. We have not found anything that we dislike or makes us feel is not worth it. PostMark has a lot of options when it comes to sending transactional emails and email marketing campaigns. Maybe we could have more automation options for managing better our domain health and, thus, not being blocked or marked as spam. Besidesthat, everything works amazing! Much better than Sendgrid, which had endless deliverability problems even sending to e.g. Hotmail/Live.com addresses. UI is intuitive, use of 'sandbox' accounts is great for checking that your apps are sending messages correctly, and most importantly the actual deliverability is fantastic. Dedicated IPs are only available to a subset of customers, but you don't need one to get good deliverability (unlike with Sendgrid where, with exactly the same emails, we were seeing our IPs flagged for spam).
