Having a community set up on ActiveBuilding provides an easy way to communicate (anything from essential updates to fun upcoming events) with all residents at once without leaking personal information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there were a tagging feature on ActiveBuilding found in most social networking platforms. For example, a resident might post an item for sale, and an interested buyer might respond with questions. The option to upload documents is hit or miss. Residents would appreciate notification any time updates are made to the platform. We've been waiting for the Community Rewards integration for months. I like the Daily Digest. I don’t necessarily have to log into the app on a daily basis but I am still in the know on what Is happening at the community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a very easy tool to use, with many options you can implement, or not. It is an all-in-one tool for both residents and staff. It is a very easy tool for building/resident/portal management. It has everything needed. I like that you can chat with your neighbors without awkwardly having to knock on their door and explaining who you are. I don't like that the other people in the community can see that you live there if you are more of a private person, I've had many residents tell me they don't like that the other residents at the apartment can see them on there. The interface is a little awkward to use in the beginning, and there are so many options it's almost overwhelming. I don't love that there is such a high fee for credit/debit cards. I like that they have an app feature so people don't have to always log onto their laptop in order to connect with others. It is basically like another version of Facebook but for apartment communities. It's a great way to connect residents! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing really stood out that's bad. But the app could use some improvements. The loading time still takes a while and it doesn't stay logged in the entire time, thus, we still have to constantly check the app for messages.
