## ActiveBatch Reviews
  ### 1. ActiveBatch Streamlines Hundreds of Workflows with Best-in-Class Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aiden G. | Systems Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch makes it easy to streamline hundreds of individual workflow components into easy-to-manage jobs and schedules. Implementation was very easy as we had a dedicated technician on with us every step of the way, configuring ActiveBatch to work for our (comparably) small environment. We use ActiveBatch daily and experience little to no issues given how many jobs we run.

Integration support is very broad, with support for SharePoint being a massive upside that many other automation platforms have not achieved, and we look forward to exploring other integration opportunities such as webhooks and SSRS connectors.

Customer support is probably the best of any vendor I've worked with, with support often replying within minutes. Even though we are a somewhat smaller shop, we were given quick access to a dedicated representative, and I never have difficulties scheduling meetings as all support staff have a booking link in their signature line.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

Some upgrades do introduce small issues, such as specific job steps breaking temporarily. ActiveBatch also has a somewhat steep learning curve despite the clean UI - you will want a technician to walk you through best practices (which they did for us) during implementation.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a wide spread of jobs running within ActiveBatch, but some of the bigger ones are MFT steps that grab files from vendor SFTP sites and store them locally/in SharePoint and scheduled PowerShell scripts. We also make use of their command line components to BCP data into our data warehouses. Another big set of jobs are emailing jobs that make it simple to notify staff of completed automation schedules or available reporting.

  ### 2. Structured job control in enterprise environments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norbert K. | Enterprise Scheduling Administrator, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

Dependability is the best to me in ActiveBatch Workload Automation. I use it every day since work planned is predictable and there is no hustle. It served to save my team on the use of manual follow ups and saved on interruptions when the days were busy. Since its use, our working days become more organized, and few problems cross to the next shift or emergency solutions become necessary.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

What I dislike about ActiveBatch Workload Automation is that it is inflexible once the processes are in place. Adjustments are only possible after much planning thus when we suddenly change it takes us more time. This inflexibility affects the productivity when priorities change, and extra coordination between teams is required, further straining when teams are already busy.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of unreliable task execution is addressed by ActiveBatch Workload Automation. Work was over reliant on the human memory to recall steps before the use of it. Tasks are now performed in a specific order and this minimized errors and overtime. Less time is wasted by my colleagues on rectifying errors, and our everyday processes become more relaxed and predictable.

  ### 3. It significantly reduces manual workload across systems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khan H. | Process automation analyst, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

The best aspect of ActiveBatch is that it makes all the workflows centralized so that it can be controlled easily. I apply it in my day to day life to automate monotonous tasks and keep track of the progress in a single dashboard. Cross platform automation is made seamless by integration with SQL server, SAP and cloud services. It could be implemented easily and the feature set is capable of supporting both simple and complex processes and this has helped my team save a lot of manual work.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

Its disadvantage is that the interface might be overloaded, particularly when several workflows are operating at the same time. There are integrations that need additional configuration affecting deployment. In peak seasons, it is a little cumbersome to monitor jobs. These problems make the learning curve to be steep among new members of the team and at times slow down rapid adaptation.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActiveBatch confronts the issue of coordination of several cross systems. Activities that would have required hours are automatically done and thus save time and reduce chances of making mistakes. It has made day to day operations more effective, efficient, and has allowed my team to work on more strategic tasks than being on top of the job status all the time.

  ### 4. Automating daily batch jobs and reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Herve S. | Business Process Improvement Analyst, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

I prefer ActiveBatch Workload Automation as it introduces predictability and control to complicated processes. My work is kept efficient by automating file transfers, batch jobs and report schedules. Connection to databases and cloud services implies that teams are able to work together without any kind of delay. It has transformed my day to day routine as it allows me to concentrate on exceptions and improvements instead of regular inspections.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch Workload Automation has one disadvantage in that advanced configurations have a learning curve. Certain tasks and system associations require additional consideration or coding, thus raising the set up time. The challenges have postponed some rollouts of the projects. Even with these problems, the software is reliable, once it is set up, though the set-up process may require more effort than expected.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest issue that ActiveBatch Workload Automation can help resolve is the lack of efficiency in the work of manual processes. In the past, the task was routine and it had to be attended to all the time and was even prone to error. They have now become automated and operating on schedule and save time and errors. This simplifies my day to work and that of my colleagues enabling them to work on more important things.

  ### 5. ActiveBatch delivered predictable data flows, ending my late nights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourabh P. | Data Pipeline Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch has transformed our data warehousing team and particularly its capability to facilitate inter-application data transfers without necessarily involving humans. The automation features based on event makes our downstream reports always available on landing of the data, and this has been a significant change in our report timeliness. I also like that the scheduling can be granular so that we can maximize the use of resources during periods of low activity.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

The first architecture to unify part of our more obscure legacy was somewhat daunting. The documentation is thorough, but some times it demanded more of an exploration than expected to get those particular connections working properly. The user interface to constructing complex conditional logic also seemed to me a little less intuitive than I had hoped, and required a little extra trial and error.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling with increasing issue of orphaned batch jobs that would never die consuming system resources and giving undue unexpected failures in other processes. With ActiveBatch in place, now we have an easy way to track job lifecycles and establish strong failure standards with automated notices. This has highly minimized those surprise system slowdowns and guarantees our very important data loads that are nightly successful and undisturbed.

  ### 6. We simplified job orchestration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agness G. | System administrator, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

What I really like best about ActiveBatch is how straightforward they make building and managing complex workflows, even across different platforms. The visual drag and drop workflow designer is fantastic; you can easily see and arrange job dependencies instead of messing with complex scripts. Plus, their Integrated Jobs Library with pre-built steps for things like file transfers or database operations is a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

While it's powerful, getting ActiveBatch initially set up and fully configured can be a bit of a beast, it requires a significant time investment and expertise. The user interface, although functional, can feel a little less intuitive or modern compared to some newer web-based tools, sometimes making navigation a bit clunky.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActiveBatch is fundamentally solving our problem of decentralized, unreliable, and manual batch processing and task automation. Before, we had scattered scripts and schedulers everywhere, making it nearly impossible to get a clear picture of what was running, ensure dependencies were met, or even quickly react to failures. Now, ActiveBatch provides a central hub where all our critical processes are scheduled, monitored, and managed. This centralization has drastically reduced manual effort, improved process reliability with better error handling, and given us invaluable visibility into our automated operations. It's moved us from reactive firefighting to proactive management of our workload.

  ### 7. ActiveBatch review by Jannatul

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jannatul H. | Senior Cloud Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

This tool enables users to automate their workflows and manage tasks independently through an intuitive interface, which helps minimize the need to depend on IT for basic automation requirements.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

The interface may seem overwhelming for those who are new to the platform. Additionally, creating and managing complex workflows often demands specialized training or prior experience.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating repetitive tasks and streamlining complex workflows have significantly enhanced operational efficiency across both IT and business units. By implementing these improvements, our teams are able to focus more on strategic initiatives rather than manual processes.

  ### 8. We can finally schedule jobs across different platforms without a hassle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valence M. | Automation integration specialist, Civic & Social Organization, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch Workload Automation provides users with an easy solution for controlling intricate workflows. The visual job designer offers an easy-to-use interface which enables quick process arrangement. The visual job designer makes it easy to create data integration tasks with multiple steps which results in time savings compared to manual setup processes. The system provides real-time monitoring alongside an alert platform which proves useful for our operations. The system notifies users instantly about job statuses and alerts instantly if problems occur thus reducing system downtime. ActiveBatch enhances our organisational efficiency by providing connexions to multiple enterprise applications.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

Smaller teams that lack IT support will face difficulties when implementing the system because setup procedures tend to be complicated. The system interface becomes disorganised which creates obstacles for users during navigation. The system's complexity problems decrease when users get more comfortable using it.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our batch job management has undergone a transformation by implementing ActiveBatch Workload Automation. Job failures occurred frequently before the implementation and troubleshooting took a long time to resolve. The system operates through automated and centralised control. Our end-of-day reporting functions without issues and our system identifies all failures within a short period of time. The system reduction of human interaction combined with operational improvement enables our team to shift focus from repetitive troubleshooting to strategic work.

  ### 9. Our batch jobs run like clockwork now

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mateusz N. | Workflow automation specialist, Nanotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch provides automated workflow management capabilities which enable me to establish and control tasks between multiple systems through an effortless process. ActiveBatch enables me to execute data transfers between databases and cloud services without involving human operators thus maintaining consistent data while lowering error rates. The tool provides seamless application integration that enables full automation of company business operations. The system provides immediate notification features which enable me to take prompt action whenever issues surface during operation.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

The process of initial implementation requires extensive effort and lasts for a long duration. Small teams without specific IT experts might find the required infrastructure knowledge barrier to implement this solution effectively. The system's user interface often becomes too busy which creates difficulties for fast navigation through the system. Novice users tend to experience substantial challenges while adapting to the system since they will require additional training for mastering its functions.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActiveBatch Workload Automation serves as an effective solution for controlling and automating evaluation of advanced workflows. Previously I handled scheduling and task monitoring tasks through manual processes that used significant periods of time while consistently producing mistakes. The system operates with automated and centralized functions that help decrease administrative duties and enhance accuracy rates. The system enables me to define nightly batch processes which execute automatically without any issues. The system has improved operational efficiency while simultaneously cutting down on operational downtime. The system provides enhanced workflow performance tracking which enables better resources optimization and distribution.

  ### 10. We finally have visibility into our processes and it's a relief

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro E. | Workflow Automation Engineer, Investment Banking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch Workload Automation is unique because it is so able to schedule. Since complex workflows like automating our monthly reporting is perfect, it’s just what we needed. One thing that is something I still find simple to use is the drag and drop interface which makes creating and editing work flows easier. I use it in everyday situations, and seen how it seamlessly supplemented our current data transfers and updates, as hard work gets taken care of.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

The one thing I’d pick is that the initial setup can be overwhelming for new users. However steep the learning curve is and your understanding of the features naturally rises with use. It has a real charm to it, for most tasks, but the documentation is not very user friendly, especially for beginners. This did not happen, yet the interface feels a little outdated to me, compared to others. Often, it feels you need to be a seasoned pro before your able to use everything it offers.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a practical point of view, I like how ActiveBatch eliminates bottlenecks effectively. It was a nightmare to manage our batch processes before using it and there was always a lot of chances of making mistakes. Now it is all computerized and this has saved a lot of time that could otherwise have been used in other activities. It makes things surprisingly simple, especially when it comes to the working of complex processes. For instance, earlier, it was a herculean task to manage data transfer between different departments.

  ### 11. Our team finally found a way to eliminate headaches with automated workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valeria A. | Workload Automation Engineer, Animation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about ActiveBatch?**

Adding ActiveBatch to our automating our workloads list really works. It allows us to save a lot of time and effort in processing and handling complex task across multiple systems. An example is its file transfer feature allowing for smooth movement of data between servers, something that troubled us quite a bit until now. Also, materialises, its task dependency management is godsend as there’s no more need to worry about tasks running out of sequence.

**What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?**

ActiveBatch is great, except there is room for improvement. On rare occasions, we have to simply restart here and there. Additionally, the user interface could be updated and more modern, user friendly. For instance, figuring out how to set up certain job dependencies was something we had to take time to work out.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActiveBatch has greatly deprived our workload management woes. Implementing it meant that before it, scheduling and monitoring jobs across multiple systems was a nightmare. That means we now can easily track job status as well as dependencies in one place. What this has not only done is save us time but likewise, it has minimized errors and has also reduced the necessity for periodic manual intervention. We are so lucky to have an extra team mate that manages our workload.

  ### 12. Great tool for automation!

If I could improve one thing, it'd be better ways to filter specific types of jobs in searches.

**What problems is ActiveBatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ActiveBatch is the tool we use to run all of our processes. It saves a lot of time that would be needed if things were to be run manually.
