I do like the power of cross-platforms of ActiveBatch Workload Automation. We operate important processes across Windows and Linux servers with just one console which is very effective. Its built-in job steps and the ability to handle an error is enormous advantages as well. As an example, in case an ETL task meets a problem, ActiveBatch will automatically re attempt it or raise certain warnings, which will guarantee the integrity of the data. This preventive control saves us a lot of manual working and non-productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Initial learning curve might be quite steep with complicated workflow designs. It is a little too long to learn all the specifics of drawing up complex dependencies and sophisticated scheduling algorithms. The user interface is at times not as intuitive as other more modern tools, though, which could use an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
