Before switching from Matomo, I had to jump between multiple tabs and tools to collect traffic stats, audience engagement data, and content performance numbers, which was super repetitive and time-consuming. Activ8 puts every core metric we need—including live page views, user dwell time, click behavior, and referral traffic—into one clean, easy-to-use dashboard. Its real-time tracking is incredibly responsive, so whenever our editorial team publishes new regional news articles or lifestyle content for our German audience, I can immediately tell if the piece is picking up traction or underperforming right after launch. This lets me give fast, actionable feedback to adjust promotion or tweak content strategy in time. I also really value its standardized reporting system. I can quickly generate clean, professional weekly and monthly performance reports without extra formatting work, which makes sharing updates with our marketing and leadership team seamless. As a regional German media company, we categorize all our published content by multiple dimensions, including geographic region, topic verticals like news and lifestyle, content format type, and specific marketing campaign cycles. Unfortunately, activ8’s native tagging structure doesn’t support layered, multi-dimensional tagging, so I can’t create combined, preset tag groups. Every time I prepare weekly or monthly performance reports, I have to manually apply a long list of individual filters one by one to segment data correctly. For example, if I want to compare lifestyle content performance across different promotional periods or filter regional news traffic by specific audience sources, I have to rebuild the entire filter setup from scratch each time. There’s no option to save custom filter templates or tagging groups for repeated use. This creates a lot of unnecessary repetitive manual work every reporting cycle, slows down my analytics workflow, and makes it harder to quickly pull cross-category content insights. For a small team with no dedicated data analysts, this limitation adds consistent extra admin burden that slows down our content optimization speed. **What problems is activ8 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Activ8 solves the messy, fragmented analytics workflow we struggled with heavily when we were using Matomo.
